A lot of people simply use the eye test without actually observing the truth.

For instance; I was looking at some stats of the team earlier on and I saw that Kai Havertz has one of the highest stamina in the team even higher than Mount. Look it up if you have doubts. Same way he ran the most on the pitch yesterday but wasnt noticed, Someone even said he was strolling that's why

Tuchel may tutor Mount on how to be effective behind the striker and will add goals to it as he can shoot better than Havertz. Havertz is easily shrugged off the ball and could be an easy target by our opponents. For now, he should be coming in when the tempo of matches have subsided.
U are more likely see both on the pitch than see Kai being replaced by him

What remains to be seen is how Tuchel uses Mount - I think he's got attributes that can be well utilized

You must be joking if what you saw was what was expected of a quality attacking midfielder. The only major thing Havertz did was that pass to Chilwell, other things i saw was passing the ball backwards, sideways and losing possessions on few occasions.

I will be surprised if he doesn't ride the bench for Mount in the next few matches. He should be loaned out as he is obviously not ready for epl yet.
Not gonna happen as they wont even be playing the same position under Tuchel.

You used the right word: flexibility.

I wonder why Lampard all of a sudden became rigid. Last season, Arsenal away, we started with 433 and the match was very hard for us but once Lampard made changes and went for 343, we won the match.

I'm watching TT closely. Let's see what he has in stock for us.
One of the biggest criticism of TT is that he tweaks his formation far too much than necessary. Even as far as deploying 5 different formation in a single match. So no concern there as regards rigidity.

Infact the other day, I was reading a stat where it was said that the most a single player has ever played for him is 78% in a season - And this includes the likes of Neymar, Mbappe and all the superstars he's ever coached

One advantage he does have over Lampard is he tends to rely more on team play than personnel

No difference between Havertz and Lucas Piazon to be honest. Kaka was just too effective and productive in his days.

If only Mount got Havert'z technicality we would've had a perfect number 10.
There's a reason why Kai is highly rated and plays number 10 for a top team like Germany at 21

Relax...I've got a good feeling about him under Tuchel. He's elite, These things dont just disppear

Or Maybe he is nonchalant in his play. Or lackadaisical however you want to put it.
He has a Languid style which is not reflected in his output kinda like Kaka

I really hope he can handle the pressure cos he's surely not gonna catch a break especially with those still salty about Lampard's exit

Havertz is mobile but doesnt have agility, mostly with the ball.
Again Not true.

Not a FIFA guy, but I would ask that you check his acceleration stats there

What is my business with the useless runs he did why jogging around. How many ball progression into dangerous areas when he dropped deep? The few times he was supposedly stretching the width he was hoping so slow it was hard to release him behind the defender. When Mount came in he had more run ins than Havertz. Man needs to hustle.
Very Funny.

I keep saying it. Kai's languid style keeps giving the wrong impression.

This is a Chelsea team not a Kai team. Stop wishing for the failure of a player, Lampard is gone

How can you say he was not mobile and lethargic if he had the most runs and covered the most distance on the pitch today.

Do you even know what ure saying?

That's a fact and not his opinion. Lampard rolled out his team in a 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 and 3-4-3 last season. The history pages are there for you to skim through.
I didnt disagree.

I was only impressed by how he sneaked it in there

Maybe the guy might function well as an SS. The guy seems to like playing 1-2 with the infield player. Several times I saw him play the ball back and make a run on the blindside of the last defender. The only problem is, he isn't mobile enough to make the run count and Chiwell was poor with the through balls.
This is not true

@ Ibime on a serious note, We played 3-4-3 with Two No.10s ( Kai and Ziyech).

U could easily have missed it if u weren't paying attention

Or maybe all your attention was on Fraudvertz...lol

The 3-4-3 is due to lack of a reliable DM. 3-4-3 provides more protection if you're not sure of your DM.

I like the fact he did that, it shows flexibility. Something Lampard did last season but refused to do this season when things weren't going well.
Lol.

Have you ever lost an argument. In your own opinion of course

His hype and price are definitely not for what you wrote up there...I wasn’t even asking for KDB or Bruno performance, just give me Madison like performance angry
He'll come alright. The signs are there. Objectively speaking of course

One concern I have though is Chilwell. His interactions with attackers are poor; Doesnt know when to make quick passes, When to cross, When to switch positions. He's part of the reasons Pulisic has been underwhelming
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 9:20pm On Jan 27, 2021
Fun Fact - Both Ziyech and Kai played as a 10 but all the negative comments is directed at Kai despite having a better performance.

Anyway I thought he did alright made all the right movements - Despite Chilwell missing out on most of his runs

Another Fun Fact - Most clear chances of the match involved Kai - The Chilwell miss and the header at the end

Ure about to see him under a manager who actually deploys a pressing system.

Not individualistic running around and clogging other people spaces

With Tuchel, Players who are Positionally indisciplined and cannot keep up the shape are probably gonna get dropped.

Brace up guys - Time for more Jorginho.

Players at risk - James, Mount, Zouma, Chilwell, Emerson, Kovacic, Abraham, except of course they improve and show it in training

That is rubbish. The consistent poor results is only the last month and the club is within touching distance (5 points) of the top4. This is not about players regressing or bla bla bla but the fact those with tactical insight understand is that this is no better team than last year's team except the defence and goalkeeper despite the millions spent. The money spent in the midfield and forward positions is money-miss-road and actually destabilising to the teams ability to get results. There is not a single area in which Havertz improves the team over Barkley, infact he regresses the team several step backwards, likewise common Giroud is better than Werner in the expectations required from a striker.

So nothing to do with results but simply to do with failure to justify the expense on the German frauds. Klopp results have been bad at Liverpool for almost the same length of time, which is one month.
Lol. Not a single defense of why Frank shouldnt have been fired seeing that he's an exceptional manager

Keep making this about the German's. U've got another one to add to the list

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09:
Emotions Aside; This was the right decision.

Lampard's tactical cluelessness didnt do him any solid. That team was lacking the basics; This was far bigger than the Germans and all the petty talks about Kepa and Rudiger (@ Ibime for a finance guy, I do find you at times bathetic, This is a results based business cool ) and all that gibberish in that article about politics is present in every big club - Lamps is certainly not new to it, He played for 13 years here. He was part of the politics at the club

Why is no one talking about the consistent poor results? What about the regression of players. Was there any glimmer of hope. See quote below in the sack statement

"However, recent results and performances have not met the Club’s expectations, leaving the Club mid-table without any clear path to sustained improvement."

The above was by far the biggest indictment on Lampard and says a whole lot about the club having no choice

We'll always treasure Frank the Player, but as a manager, he'll be needing a lot of improvement

What if the new manager continues to use this same Mount?
Yes he will.

Cos he's a hardworking player. But he wont build the team around him

Chelsea board is not Arsenal board that will keep manager sliding to midtable and write off investment in the likes of Pepe.

Havertz and Werner got Lampard sacked. Chelsea board will do anything to get return on those players.

It is what it is. Good luck to Tuchel getting those two to shine.
It wasnt just about those 2 if recent reports are to be believed.

The board found his persistence in buying Declan Rice annoying and ridiculous. Also some of the players were starting to find him incompetent
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09:
A lot of misconceptions about Tuchel coming from those who perhaps havent followed his career.

While he wasnt my first choice, He's certainly an improvement on Lampard

For those saying he wouldnt last more than 2 seasons, How many coaches do last more than that in Chelsea and even in Modern clubs today
