nateevs: CHO has been out for weeks. Let's not forget this. You can imagine why Lamps is not quick to start him. He needs to manage his players, considering there is a game in 48 hours.
The fact that we are thinking Werner and Pulisic are not good enough to start against Arsenal is the big problem. Werner was so poor. Killing forward and link play and Pulisic is a complete shadow of himself.
In an ideal scenario, both players should be walking into any 11 on top form. Not sure what is wrong with them both. Oh Please. Before the injury, he did same. Using the same analogy, why did James play ahead of Azpi |

Mistakes from Lampard today
Playing Werner as a winger when Cho a proper winger was available is rubbish -and no, this isnt the first time he's doing it. U would have to be clueless to think Timo would perform better than on the wings
Starting James - Azpi should hhave been given the nod for this
Subs - I would have taken off Abraham instead of Werner. And please dont come up with that Goal rubbish he scored, Watching his movement as a 9 gives me headache, Terrible movement, always staggering and poor first touch.
Persisting with Mount - Well the less said, the better. He should keep up with the favoritism. What most people dont realise is the massive opportunity cost playing Mount does to the team
Positive today for me was CHO - At least he was taking the defenders on and drawing space for others. Lampard should quit the Werner winger rubbish |

Lampard doesnt learn.
The sub should be Kai for Mount.
Leaving only Jorginho in the middle is a disaster |

OVA200: You get problem o Did I just hear you say we were in shamble after he was put on? we were in shamble from the begining of the second half till five minutes after Kova was put on; If you are not watching the power cable of your TV you will see that West ham pressed us and didn't allow us to play from the back because of fragility of jorginho and when we send it long they beat Abraham 4/5 in the air making us lose possession of the very often but immediately Kova comes in we return to playing at the back because of his ball retention ability and it makes it possible for us to break their press twice which resulted to the two goals.
Bro you can hate him all you want but he is the game changer today. And mind you he didn't play as AM. Why are people arguing against something that was obvious. The midfield really changed the moment Kova came on. His energy, dribbling and accurate passes were all noticeable. Lets always try to be fair with our comment regardless of whether the players are our favorites or not |

The two goals were just the icing on the cake. pulisic was also decent just that he loses the ball too often. Lol. If anyone deserves the man of match today. It's definitely Azpi or Pulisic. Kante deserves a shout too |

olabode89: Chief!
You are clearly a smart man but you should know lazy in football does not mean speed, pace or ability to clock high speed. How many sprints does Havertz make, how much distance does he cover, how often does he press or lead the press, so he a willing runner for the team, can he cover space for the team or track back effectively depending on the position he is playing . Those are the criteria to determine if a player is lazy or not. Just so we are clear. Are u saying any player who doesnt press, track back or sprints around is a lazy player. If that is your position, then I agree with you that he is . Just that I very much prefer a player who knows when to time his runs and movement than one who sprints around |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 1:49pm On Dec 17, 2020*. Modified: 10:18am On Dec 18, 2020 |
Saying lanky players are lazy is like saying all buff players are hardworking. Intelligent runs and movement needs to be well appreciated.
With a top speed of 35.02 km/h. Kai Havertz is the second fastest midfielder in the premier league ( only behind Adama Traore). He was the second fastest player overall last season in the bundesliga. I dont know too many lazy players clocking this stat
One other thing that gets ignored is that Kai was also getting dispossessed a lot at the wings in Leverkusen - Infact it was one of the negatives in his scout report. This isnt a new thing and does not bother me one bit. Almost like underating Aguero or Aubameyang cos of their plenty misses; hence why you would always find him drifting to empty spaces especially in central areas where he is allowed to roam/drift
Anyone would think this Chelsea team has another means of Goal Scoring apart from an Inshallah which all teams have figured out. All we are saying is for the good of the team. Allow people who can actually do the creative job which you spent a lot of money to acquire do it. Sacrificing players cos Mount can run and press adds nothing to the team ( Kante does this) - We've been down this road before with Oscar, Willian, Mata and KDB.
One more thing - Havertz is not as terrible defensively as it gets said a lot. He's certainly better than Ziyech if we're looking at defensive stats so a lot of this talk is exaggerated. |

I've busted you lying 3 times today now.
First you said Havertz moves so classy for Chelsea. A Lie.
Then you said Havertz wasn't on the pitch when Podence scored yesterday. A Lie
Then you said Havertz has 1.2 key pass per game in the league for Chelsea. A Lie.

nihilistjnr: Bros why are you afraid to say how many key pass per game Havertz is posting in the league?
Which one is weighted average? Why are you calling Germany.
The number of KP in the league is on whoscored where you checked the other stats
Abi shame dey catch you? I already answered u and will be moving on now. Feel free to take me up on the computation if u feel I'm wrong. |

nihilistjnr: This is a lie.
Check it again Lol. I knew u were gonna do this which is why I clearly explained that this was a weighted average. Why would u say something is a lie when you have absolutely no clue on how it's computed. Why would someone who had 2.5 key passes in a 78 minutes Germany match produce only 1.3 on his average if u believe it's that skewed. Anyway my point has been made |

nihilistjnr: Bros how many key pass has Havertz made for Chelsea in the league.
Nothing concern me with Germany. I'm not a Germany fan . He's made 1.2 key passes. Not that different right?. I already mentioned that the Germany game had little or no effect |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 10:23pm On Dec 16, 2020 |
nihilistjnr: No I'm asking you how may key passes Havertz is making in the league Whatever comparison I did, I did for all. Bear in mind Kai has only played 78 mins with Germany this Season - where he actually had 2.5 key pass. That was a weighted average comparison; and given Kai's 1180 minutes this season. That 1.3 is very much in line and not as skewed as u would have us believe |

eph12: Chances created, big chances created? KDB has 3 key passes per match, Bruno 3, Kai 1.3 per match this season Not that far behind if u ask me given his positioning on the field. Again this players are allowed to roam and actually delve into their creativity habitat If I wanted to be an ass. I would compare their 2019/2020 stats where he absolutely belts them; again testament to my statement on his false positioning |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by User09: 6:24pm On Dec 16, 2020 |
olabode89: You are still missing the point sir. 86% pass accuracy with poverty afflicted numbers in regards to assists, passes in the final third and chances created cannot be compared with lower pass accuracy by KDB and Bruno. KDB and Bruno post low pass accuracy because they play riskier passes, creating more chances and post high number of assists. Not as incomparable as you think. Bruno has 6 assist in 18 games, KDB 10 in 15 (I admit this is really high) But you cant discount Kai 4 assist while playing further behind compared to those 2. Also he's played far lesser minutes; Hence my argument for him to be played as a proper 10 to get the best out of him |
