If you are conversant with football analytics and stats as you mentioned you should know that CBs and DMs because they hardly play forward, risky and line breaking passes their pass accuracy is usually pretty high and around 90+%. So 86% is not usually seen as high when the whole squad is considered.

Also pass accuracy alone does not say much if other parameters like assists, chances created and the area of the pitch from which them passes are made are not taking into consideration. There is a reason why KDB and Bruno have got pass accuracy less than 80%.

U also need to put things in context for comparison. In Leverkusen, Havertz mostly played as a number 10, Sometimes a right winger or, as a false 9, The one common theme was Havertz was always given the freedom to roam in advanced areas of the pitch unlike at Chelsea.

Telling me about off-the-ball movement in a playmaker, is like talking about a surgeon with no eyes, a singer with no lips, or a barber with no hands.

Off the ball movements are almost as important as on-the ball movements.

For it to work, u need clever players who spot the beneath the line runs and brings the ball through the smallest gaps. That way defenders are dragged out of their positions.

Notice Havertz interaction with Pulisic and Kova in the Sevilla game when he played as a proper 10
