For years, custom knw very well dat cars were being smuggled into d country n its now dey want to wake up from their slumber. Dey didnt take any serious action because dey were benefiting from it. Let Dem start from within themselves first. Almost 90% of d service r thieves n corrupt. Have dey taken any serious measure to reduce or eradicate car smuggling? Instead, dey increased d duties. Y cant dey say dat any car seller found selling car without paying duties will b punish? Wen last did dey go to car stands to check if all cars in their stand have custom duties? If u can check most of d complaints, dey r from guys cos most breakups come from women. Jst asks a girl if she can b in ur shoes ie if she can take u out, pay ur bill, sch fees, clothes, different gifts, jst all d things guys do their babes. I doubt if 10% of Dem can do dat. Car drivers, kindly buy ur gauge n dnt trust some this useless vulcanizer. I left abj around 8pm heading to Jos. I stopped at akwanga, to gauge one of my front tires. I approached a vulcaniser to inflate d tire to 40. He sent one of his boys to do it. D young man finished n told me dat it was ok. I asked him to use pressure gauge to confirm wat he did. He told dat dey v pressure gauge. He jst used his finger to hit d tire 3times n told me dat it was ok. But insisted dat he shld use gauge to confirm. I asked his boss n he brought out a gauge n checked d pressure. It was 71, instead of 40. I was very angry n nearly slap d boy. I didn't do dat cosi was scared of causing crisis. So u can imagine wat wud v happened to me if I hit a deep pot hole or d front tire bust in d middle of no where in d mid of night! |

I advise every car owner to v his/her tire pressure gauge for themselves. It saves life or injuries or lost of property. Am telling u this from my experience n thank God I was saved. I was driving from Uvu, askira/uba local govt in borno state, to abj. I stopped at gombe n felt like checking one of front tire which look under pressured. I asked d vulcaniser to check d pressure. He told it was as 30. I later asked him to guage it to 40. I left gombe n reached Jos around 10pm where I spent d night. Wen i prepared to go to abj from Jos, i asked another vulcaniser to check my prssure of my tires. The vulcaniser in Jos told me dat d pressure of d tire i gauged in gombe was 55, maybe he gauged abt 60. Dat means, d guage of my tire was normal in gombe. But d stupid vulcaniser in gombe lied to me so dat he won't miss d N50 from me. I was carrying a lot of things from d village. U can imagine wat wud v happened to me on d road in d middle of d night wit all pot holes scattered everywhere on d way! D tire might v burst 3 Likes |

When it comes to issue of denial n telling lies, it's in policemen "blood". I have a classmate who is a policeman. In 2002, I was in 200level in unijos. gsm was newly introduced in Nigeria n phones were expensive n scarce. My uncle gave me phones to sell n send him d money after selling them. My secondary classmate, d policeman, came n I sold him a phone at d cost price. I didn't add kobo as a profit. He was to balance me 9k. 6 months later, he didnt pay me n kept on telling funny stories all d times. I got angry n reported d case to his boss in their station. Wen his boss called us together, my police classmate denied me dat he doesn't knw me. I was shocked to hear dat from him. He said we never met before n has nothing 2do wit me. I gently left d office n congratulated him. One of our classmates was getting married in 2014 n we accidentally met at d meeting cos we happened 2b among d groom's train. He was shocked n ashamed. Wen he heard abt my new status n realised dat my salary is 6times his own, he came n apologised to me. Till today, he never pay d balance. God bless Nigerian police officers. |
