Politics in Nigeria is so bitter, it has destroyed relationships and friendships. They were already in court to begin trial when Obi decided that it will be beneficial to him to take a plea bargain.

He knows he will lose badly in court, hence the decision.

The FBI cannot coerce a confession out of you otherwise it is inadmissible in court.

I did not say confession but submission into agreeing to guilty plea which saves time. even if they are in court a sudden guilty plea will end things quickly. Trial is stressful and costly, they would not want that

I am not saying that, all i am saying is that, FBI would not want to waste public funds and go through trial which might take weeks or months , and these trials cost money. Dem sabi pound people into submission rather than giving them a fighting chance to prove their innocence in courts . I f you look at the college admission scandal going on in California now, they have just pounded the last person still holding out into guilty plea, na so dem bi.
