http://stevenzworld..com.ng/2016/06/great-ways-to-surprise-nigerian.html ******* Surprises are the best, which is why everyone loves them…especially Nigerian women! Little bits of surprises tell the person that they are worth a little bit of planning and show that you care. The surprise does not have to mark a holiday or her birthday, it also It doesn’t have to be too big or expensive as Nigerian women are not essentially materialistic. It should come from the heart. If you are in Nigeria or you are currently married to a Nigerian wife, Jovago.com Africa’s largest hotel booking portal shares a few ideas to help you surprise the love of your life and not break the bank. Give her a “just because” gift You live with her, you know what she likes and most of all, you must have heard her expressed a desire for a particular thing that she is unable to get for herself. Get her a gift out of the blues! It could be the thing she wanted or just something you know she needs, like a new pair of sunglasses she has not yet picked up since breaking her last pair, or something you know she will enjoy like ice cream cake from cold stone creamery. Nigerian women like to know that their husband listens to them and think about them when they are apart. Buying her something on your own, for no particular reason proves that. Bring her Lunch at work No need to feel alarmed, you do not necessarily have to cook the lunch. You can just stop by her favorite restaurant and buy her favorite food or get something she has been craving for a while. It all will take very little time to execute and deliver. You can decide to also move you break time so that you can take you lunch break with her. It may be a small surprise, but it would make a difference in her day. She will surely love the opportunity to post a picture of such a romantic deed by her husband on Instagram or upload the story on Snapchat. Give her public praise. Nigerian women generally like to be acclaimed and appreciated publicly. Just as sending lunch to her workplace will build her self-esteem and help her see you in a softer light. Praising her in public, like getting a radio station to dedicate a song to her or posting a love letter on her Facebook wall will do the same, especially when she hears others commending your actions or repeating your words back to her. http://stevenzworld..com/2016/06/politicians-struggling-to-cut-through.html While there can be no doubt politicians are becoming more visible on sites like Facebook, Twitter and instagram, social media trend experts have questioned their effectiveness. University of Western Australia associate professor of marketing Paul Harrigan said politicians needed to adapt the way they communicate on social media platforms if they want young people to listen. "I would say that they're treating these two-way channels like traditional one-way channels," he said. "They need to be going out there and try to engage with people and listen to what people are saying — their thoughts, their views, their policies — and then adapting their strategy around that. "But I'm not seeing that happening." Mr Harrigan said often what most parties were doing was taking the same message, sometimes the same advertisement, and simply placing it on Facebook and Twitter. "It can't be as planned as that," he said. "You have to be more intuitive and more spontaneous, so asking people questions and reacting to [their responses]." Mr Harrigan said content on social media should either educate or entertain, and for political parties, educational content was most important. But he said they needed to change their approach. "Social media will not work if you develop a policy in a room with five people and then go onto social media to tell people about it because the people on social media will say, 'why was I not involved in this decision'," he said. "So it comes across as not understanding the way the younger generation wants to engage at all." With tech-savvy 18 to 22-year-olds making up the newest group of voters at next year's state election, media strategist Ruth Callaghan said politicians should be using social media to their advantage. "So we know that about 20 per cent of 18 to 25-year-olds aren't enrolled to vote and if they are enrolled to vote they don't believe that they're being listened to," she said. "Politicians should be going online and using this as the world's biggest focus group. "These are people who are prepared to tell you every moment of the day what they're thinking. It's whether or not the politicians are actually listening." Read Full Article @: http://stevenzworld..com.ng/2016/06/politicians-struggling-to-cut-through.html

http://stevenzworld..com.ng/2016/06/britains-vainest-man-is-bankrupt-after.html Sam Barton, 22, spent the staggering sum over the past four years. The ex-barman - who has based his lifestyle on Joey Essex, a star of ITV's reality show The Only Way Is Essex – has admitted regularly spending thousands of pounds a night on champagne. I never thought of how much anything cost - if I wanted something, I bought it Sam Barton He went into the red after spending a small fortune on plastic surgery including £20,000 on his teeth, £5,000 on cosmetic injections and a further £10,400 on a nose job. Sam, who lives in Four Oaks, Birmingham, also drained his bank accounts with foreign holidays, designer outfits, jewellery and even £1,000 on flashy accessories for his pet cat. Before filing for bankruptcy, Sam - the grandson of Aston Villa's European Cup-winning manager Tony Barton - held 15 credit and store cards and had a large overdraft. He admitted: "I've been absolutely crazy with money since I was 18 but especially in the last two years when I've just simply had the time of my life. "I never thought of how much anything cost - if I wanted something, I bought it. I've spent around £55,000 trying to improve my looks and get the perfect image. "The rest I've spent on designer clothes, jewellery, holidays, spa treatment and champagne. In total, I have spent around £100,000." Sam, who dreams of appearing on reality show Celebrity Big Brother, added: "I'm in debt but have no regrets. "I'm young and I am having the time of my life. Debt doesn't really worry me. "I am in a lot of debt but have been advised to wipe the debt out and just start again afresh. "My mother won't be happy as she believes you should pay your debts back. But if I'm able to clear my debts by declaring myself bankrupt, then I'll do that." Aside from his 15 credit and store cards, Sam fuelled his spending-spree with two part time jobs. As well as working behind a bar and at a supermarket, Sam also enjoyed numerous handouts from generous family and friends. "When I was a child my parents had lots of money, lost it all and made it again," he said. "That meant I experienced being spoiled and then having it taken away from me. "I was always pretty good with money as a kid, though. I would save my pocket money and then make my brother spend his. But when I got to 18, I just wanted the glam life and to live like a celebrity. "I saw Joey Essex on TV and thought I would love to be like him. He was having the time of his life and so my pursuit of the celebrity life started." Sam first hit the headlines after revealing he had had a free nose job on the NHS. Describing his long-held desire to become a celebrity, he said: "It is my ultimate dream to look, feel and act like a celebrity. I'm chasing a lifestyle and I feel that if I mirror celebrities, like Joey [Essex], I will look good and feel good. "If the celebrities are spending all their money on treatments, then so will I." http://stevenzworld..com.ng/2016/06/britains-vainest-man-is-bankrupt-after.html

Hello Fam, I have been asked many times by many people whether or not to start a blog for financial gain, and so here’s the truth. If you are asking me this question, my answer is going to be an unequivocal NO. No, you should not even contemplate starting a blog if you are on the fence and need to ask someone if it is worth it. If your plan is solely to make money, and not enjoy the act of writing. I clearly think that it is worth it, but here are some things I also know. I make quite a bit of money off of my blog. I do this through advertising, affiliates and sponsored posts, but none of it is easy and it did not start right away. I made my first 100 bucks about 4 months into blogging, and then nothing came in for the next 4 months. It has taken time, hard work and determination to get me to the point where blogging is financially worth it and none of it happened overnight. Financially successful bloggers know what I mean when I say blogging is a way of life. You are ALWAYS on. I check my comments, Twitter interactions, Facebook updates, IG tags and sundry other details multiple times a day. I try to do it in a way that does not disrupt my life, but sometimes it does. And this is blogging. So think hard if all of this is something that you and your family situation can handle before you start a blog, because if what I said sounds like a nightmare to you right now, it will be even worse when it is actually you and not me doing all of these things. A lot of people, prior to starting blogs, have a grand idea for what they are going to blog about. Don't get me wrong, it's good to at least have a starting idea for your blog, because I can promise you that if you don't, you will burn out. Content isn't something you can fake, and writer's block is a thing. It just isn't a thing you have the luxury to entertain. Make sure that you are covering a topic you can talk about in your sleep, because you may be called on to do that. I make money off of my blog because I am willing to diversify. As a blogger I will absolutely never partner with a shady product or company. I owe my audience both my loyalty and honesty. Anything featured on my blog, JENerally Informed, is going to have my stamp of approval. I hope that over the years that has come to mean something. The professional term is "brand." It is hard to build and easy to destroy. But that being said, in order to make money blogging, I have had to be wiling to promote and share information about products I never thought I would.
