My first experience was when I tried to reverse out of the house.been doing that successfully prior to that because iv been a very good car handler.my bro pissed me.off that day and with a lil bit of anger..I drove without looking backwards and as you would expect, the tail lights hit the fence and was gone..it wasn't carelessness...it was anger. Controversies have trailed the sudden disappearance of 71 trailers of rice and other grains allocated to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Adamawa State by the Federal Government to ameliorate the hardship faced by victims of insurgency in the state.

The Guardian gathered that the 71 trailer loads of grains actually arrived the state only for the items to develop wings two days after the Deputy Governor, Mr. Martins Babale, flagged off the ceremony marking the distribution of the consignment, without getting to the IDP camps or to those that had returned home.

Commenting on the missing trucks of food items, a member of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Emmanuel Tsamdu, said reports from his constituency community leaders confirmed that only 250 bags of 50kg of rice got to Madagali, as against the two trailers of 600 bags of 50kg per one trailer load.

Tsamdu urged the Federal Government to immediately set up a committee to investigate what he described as the worse crime against humanity and corrupt behaviour.

Details of the planned distribution listed the seven local government councils in the northern part of the state, which were the worst hit by the Boko Haram attack, as beneficiaries of the highest allocation.

But checks by The Guardian revealed that Madagali local council, that was the worse hit due to its closeness to Sambisa forest, was allocated only two trailers of rice.
When contacted the District Head of Guluk, headquarters of Madagali council, Mr. Bello Ichadi, disclosed that only five district heads of the council received 50 bags of 25kg rice, making a total of 250bags for the entire Madagali council.

It was also discovered that while the rice and other grains were packaged in 50kg bags, the few bags given to the Madagali Chiefs were in 25kg bags, indicating that there was rebagging of the grains by those charged with the distribution.

Executive Secretary of the state Emergency Management Agency, Mr. Haruna Furo, told The Guardian that his agency, which is in charged of managing IDPs in the state was not involved in the distribution of the grains from the Federal Government to the state.

His words: “I cannot tell exactly what went wrong with the distribution, because we are the agency that is charged with the responsibilities of taking care of IDPs.

But we were not involved in recent exercise, it was done in Abuja; even the sharing formular.

Many people are calling my office, bringing complaints, but the only thing we can say is we are not part of the exercise, so we don’t know how the distribution was done and the formular that was used.”

Lagos is HARSHER economically by far than PH, so don't bother to move because it is more like moving from cat's den to lions den. PH is ok at least you can trek from Waterlines to Agip or from mile-1 to Town, everywhere is almost close to each other, but there is no trekkable distance in Lagos, everywhere is just far from each other particularly a beginner like you, you will smell pepper.

Lagos is small in terms of land mass. Distance between locations in lagos arent really far but the bus fares are something else....

If you drive a Lagos plate number to Kano, the Police and FRSC will stylishly not stop you, as they believe you are expose ( that will make some of them stop you believing you stole the car) but if you drive a Katsina plate number in Lagos, Police, VIO, LASTMA, SSS, CIA etc will stop you knowing/thinking you are a JJC.

If you and your car look suspicious: if you like have a Texas number, those road-money-sucking-agencies will stop you.

Goodday everyone, I'm an ardent follower of details on NL and I have come to observe that companies who receive a lot of applications after sending out a vacancy make use of computer based CV screening tools.

I graduated with a B.Tech from FUTO and I'm just curious to know if those screening tools will be active enough to pick up a B.tech degree from a host of applications especially when the recruiter states that a Bsc is wanted.

Of course we all know the B.tech and Bsc are almost the same bar the extra one year spent and can be used in the same category.

The PDA is just a personality assessment test, and not a way of grading you. Afterall no one is expected say he is lazy or dull.

No offense but I think you are one of those persons that influence their postings to Lagos. Look nysc is a call to service and not for fun. If you want to enjoy service please serve in a school and if possibly a rural area. In school you will have chance to do other things. Heck you can even travel during holiday. Oga you should have gone to a class room or better still manage their rules Cus these companies face competition from outside so they must work you hard. Only thing am against is the cds case. That's your right. Please be strong my brother Cus that company is preparing you for your future. If you can survive there then you can survive anywhere.
