thanks for ur response and i appreciate ur frank but polite reply.i appreciated her in highlighting other well thinking and industrious individuals. actually i make this particular comment in other threads also when this kind of pics r displayed....i v kinda seen the level of development in more advanced country and it only pains me when we put up snapshots of roads and bridges as a sign that the government is working...You and i know that with the level of funds available, the citizenry deserve so mmuch more than just this....hence my anger regards prophetone: I get your point but she was only contributing to the thread, which is commendable regardless. The intention is to highlight industry and not necessarily infrastructural development, which is no less worthy of celebration in its own right. |
nice pics u v been puttn up but unfortunately u shot urself in the foot.we are so used to mediocrity that we put up pics of bridges and roads as a sign of development...granted it is but u shouldnt put these up..Its your right as A nigerian...The money has always been there...no other developed country talks about good roads and all because it should be built and placed there by those in power by default. Igbos then invented the first alphabet called the cuneiform and left babylon under an igbo family called the Akadians who where the ancestors of modern arabs,Ethiopians and jews through a former sheperd of igbo orign called abraham. |

gbam LordReed: All through history religion and education have many times been at logger heads but in this day and age with technology breaking all the traditional borders religion is very much less of a hindrance. If any religion still poses a hindrance to education it is usually in places where access to information is limited. |
just a question?if u were born a chinese? wat would be ur position on this? then what judgement would be passed on the billions of atheists chinese/asians? Joshthefirst: Lol. |
![]() MrPresident1: This debate has been flogged and over-flogged. I do not want to be drawn into any more enervating arguments that would do no one any good. It is apparently clear that the Almighty God has blinded not a few people. |

if he did that, i wouldnt v a problem..though we would have to subject him to medical evaluations and make high level tests to be sure it aint a sham...too many false prophets have done the same since time immemorial though between God cant do that..he would send someone and not himself...thats how its always been Joshthefirst: The Christian God. |
on point!!!!!!!!! cold: Again if the argument is part of the bible came from god and part from primitive men,how do we know which is which? You do not know if Jesus really is resurrected, or if that's just a make-believe story inserted by primitive men. How do you know if God wrote the Ten Commandments or not? If any part of the Bible has been polluted by primitive men, you have to reject the whole thing. There is no way to know who wrote what, so the entire book is invalid. Let me reiterate, there really is no middle ground here. The Bible has to be an all-or-nothing book. Either the entire Bible came from God, or none of it did. |
hmmmmm...u may need to do more research online but pet enigineeers also make use of matlab extensively especially those in oil reservoir option..there r a host of other softwares though for pet engineers and not just matlab# alcuin: How does this relate to petroleum engineering as a discipline? Or in particular reservoir characterisation and evaluation? |

u mean the xtian God?or catholic God?or Allah? or krishna?the jehovah witnesses idea of God is different from the catholic idea of a God.so u gotta be specific . i think u shouldav asked me first what God i believe in?u dunno if my religion depicts God as a holy ram or according to my indians friends as a cow and if God came in that form, i sure would as a talking cow would be an anomaly ![]() but seriously i dnt get the direction of the question ![]() Joshthefirst: if God came to confirm the bible for you, how would you recognize him? |
would love to observe though i think i know a lot but nt at the level of an expertise...good work hupernikao: Due to several interest shown on ds matlab issue, I am thinking d possibility of putting up a total of 12hrs of interactiv training sessions here on NL. Though I manage a training school dt offer many technical and management courses including matlab at a cost but ds online class here will b free for d selected participants. |
i dnt really understand ur yearns actually...we all wanna learn here...ur last statement is like an oxymoron...u say the bible should be the least of his worries but most christians would agree that we need to dwell on it 24/7 or is that not so? pearlyboo: OP why are you looking for what is not missing? Please be advised that you do not bring in your human comprehension of things into spiritual matters else u will forever be confused. Let d holy book remain as it is and mind ur business. There are lots of things to bother ur head with, this book should be the least. |
