gbam!!!!!! Reiyvinn: Was any moniker mentioned at the OP? Was I forcing people to comment? |
i dunno..there r muslims and non xtians on this thread...can u narrate it here for us ![]() malvisguy212: the first time I saw the thread, somtin in me say don't click, honestly, and surprisly this night the same thin say click and I click my first coment was "you are playing with your soul" |
![]() Reiyvinn: Pfft *drink spills* did i hear you say consequences? |
i seriously cant make head or tails about ur rebuttal seriously!!!!!!!! malvisguy212: I admit, I was wrong for sayin they don't need God,I should'av said "they reject God" nevertheless open minded fellow will understand my point. |
God of Ishmael also ![]() Ayomivic: that decision is for you alone to make. its not your father, mother sibllins, wife ,children, friends, boss, relatives and Nairalanders decision but you i mean you and you alone. from all you wrote make your research, which of them do you think is true God and worthy of worship? |
u welcom lets knw hw it goes ![]() Sexytemi: It's not, am not the only one who wants them dead and gone. |
the official systems i use for my simulations are 16 gigs desktop and some of the simulations take close to 3 minutes before i get a reply if i wanna run some of this in my laptop, and obviously closing down all applications, it makes the system hang indefinitely while the memory usage on task bar gets close to 3.82gig....hence my interest in increasing my processor is pentium dual core CPU @2.00gHz per core onegig: 4gb should be more than enough to run matlab. Most times it isn't the ram but your processor speed and clock rate. You would get the 4gb ram in the market. Just a bit scarce and a little expensive but even increasing the ram to eight gb might not have any noticeable effect on the applications you use. At that point the ram's efficiency is inelastic. I.e can't be stretched to achieve more. |
in what ways are 'their ways not right'? pls dnt take offence; we just wanna hear each others views and perceptions so we can 'know better' Busybody2: Unlike many who were born Christians, some of whom later became jaded and rebelled and turned atheists, the reverse is the case for me. I was born into a traditional mumbo-jumbo family, so now I thank God in His mercies for opening my eyes to see the truth about my idol worshipping ancestors and how their ways is not right. |
hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
it wouldnt but after they fall into it once or twice they will get the message and it ll deter them returning to that point,,,though make sure the 'area' isnt populated by peopl so it wont affect anyone Sexytemi: Can trap kill dog?, although I love dogs, but those dogs just made me hate dogs lyk mad, |
buy traps Sexytemi: Am so looking for poison to kill the dogs in my estate, the dogs are so dirty, they come to our flats and scatter our dustbins, and poo around without burying it, the worst was when they enter my dustbin and brought out a used pad and started tearing, it was so annoying o, bt luckily, noone was there to see it, I quickly cleaned it up after throwing a stone, but they espcaped it o, we'av gone to report to their owner, instead of saying she'll tie them down, she said they always poo in her living room, so we shouldn't be angry, since then we'av planning on how to kill even if it's one of dem, so that she can learn how to care for her dogs o. |
this is what the american cultists/fraternities do while here in naija our cultists just ![]() |

From a quantum physics angle, that makes some sense. It is something worth pondering. |

i m nt in lagos now but just wanna seek ur opinion on somethin...i have a hp dv4 laptop with 4gb ram (2 * 2gb ddr2).all other specs usual/normal... however i carry out high level simulations with matlab software which usually slows my laptop.is it possible to increase it to 8gb by buying 2 * 4gb ddr2 RAM.i tried checking online but all i could see was just for p.c's and not for laptops. |
![]() euromilion: My friend this is the beginning of ur success, most successful people alive has gone through this phase in their lives. |
typical naija doggg...lol jassie: Mine chases the lizards when he sees me around. When I'm not there, he allows them to eat from his tray--- talk about eye service. Nigerian dogs are hypocrites |
nice way of puttn ur points across Swiftboy: Thanks jare! Now to help you a thinker to believe as well Bro try to go through the materials I gave you earlier so we'll not waste time.watch some of the videos and read those that answers some of the questions youre asking however with an open mind! Christianity only have this to say to you today that 1. There's a God 2. He loves 3. He created humans but they sin 4. He gave Christ 5. If you believe you're saved. All the different churches are allowed since they wont contradict all these. And my question to you as regard the said Bishop that remarked that a non catholic cant make heaven is 'where's that written in the bible' I think while trying not to believe, you end up believing everything to solidify your resolutions. Check out www.RZIM.com you'll learn alot about Christianity. |
what do u class as bullshit? the fact that people wanna resort to been more open minded and 'learn' from each others' perceptions? ![]() Ishilove: That's why I no longer visit this section. Too much bullshit. |

A small QUOTE from a nairalander called MARTIAN Martian: I'm not an atheist because I don't have a reason to affirm or deny the existence of mythical creatures. God or Gods are only found in the myths and legends of cultures, and every god that I've ever heard of is always partial to the culture that worshipped or worship it. As is well known, the ubiquitous nature of the three desert religions is the result of wars, slavery and colonialism. After performing the resurrection trick in ancient Israel, Jesus didn't crawl out of another virgin's a$$ in Umuahia and repeat the trick for the Igbos. No! Some europeans had to get the story first, then bring it to Africa at the point of a sword. Likewise, the Europeans didn't know about a God named Chukwu before they met the igbos. Each story about a god sounds as far fetched as the next, so why place one culture on a pedestal and call their bullshit story factual?? Afterall, Obatala created humans from the mud in Ile-Ife, Yahweh created the first human from mud in the Garden of Eden, Zeus and the Olympians lived on Mt. Olympus, which just happens to be the biggest mountain known to the ancient Greeks. Why should I consider Yahweh a Jewish myth, Zeus a Greek myth but Obatala has the creator of the world and everything we see? Why do people take Obatala as a god created in the minds of ancient Yoruba spiritualists and why do people view the Greek gods as creations of clever Greek writers; but Yahweh is not the creation of some ancient Jews?? In my opinion,if there is a being responsible for what we call the universe, that being would be out of the scope of our intellectual abilities. We won't be able to discern its existence unless it makes itself or themselves known. |
BEST POST I HAVE SEEN..PERMIT ME TO QUOTE IT IN A LINK Martian: I'm not an atheist because I don't have a reason to affirm or deny the existence of mythical creatures. |
nice write up but can u arrange it in 'normal' form or if u dont have the means, can i aid u? |
but he created the unbelievers...was it their fault they were born to non xtian parents? qstar: Ofcourse, he's just and righteous, like the way he hardened Pharoah's heart and punished him for having a hardened heart. |
![]() FOR ME i need to go back to my villa and loook for the gods of my great grandfather and his wife who was d greatest and just woman then....instead of asking a portuguese saint to intercede for me, maybe she can do that as shez nearer me geographically ![]() PAGAN9JA: OP return to the faith of your ancestors. |
sad |
@op/ Reiyvinn, the thing s complex and its not helped by the fact that our knowledge of ancient history cant be trusted...so many changes and amendments v beeen made by 'persons' for bad, good or for the greater good..for example, so many other gospels were deleted from the bible for reasons unknown and which we can only guess at...The bible says 'A' in one part and then says 'B' in anoda part. Ditto for the koran which i have also read. I dunno about hinduism and others as i havent had time.. . I think one has to just stick to one's religion to have something to hang 'unto' but one also be open minded. I am a catholic but dont subscribe to a few teachings like saint thomas aquinas who says 'salvation cannot be found outside the catholic church'..what is the fate of non catholics then?...ditto for other religions that condemn 'others' also. My angst with religion is that it makes us downplay the humanity of people around us and this is not helped by the media. For example, we look on the news and see wars, fights going on in syria/palestine/israel/northen nigeria and by default one sides with the one who is of similar religion with him/her. U tend to hear statements from news listeners like 'dont mind those violent muslims. bloody israelites, senseless xtians corrupted by the west' etc. For example the israel/hamas crisis, an average news listener who is muslim/arab supports hamas by default while an average jew/christian/european supports Israel wqithout trying to research on the root cause of the struggle....I think religion has succeeded in dividing people along lines than it should. Its crap when someone says religion makes you know the difference between right and wrong. I study with chinese, indians and europeans who are atheists and believe only in the 'god of science' but this guys are more humane, friendly, kind, sincere/open hearted than the average xtian/islam or nigerian xtian who calls on God monday to sunday but who cheats/lies/bribes(we say God go understand)/do jamb runs/special centres and does thanksgiving when his 'runs' click/ shocking tribalistic tendencies (omo nna,nde ofe mmanu/aboki nama)/womanises/piss on the road/throw rubbish on the road/disobey traffic rules/impatient in traffic/cursing fellow drivers in traffic/doesnt symphatise when he hears of bombings in the north and says to himself,' thank God its not my portion'. etc...as one Desdichando said on my thread and i quote, 'it is a wonder that the oyibo peeps here who introduced religion to us are less religious but more honest and have things working for them while we wey they carry the thing for head are worse-off in all spheres of life..i thought the more u pray the more things are supposed to be better...so while are they 'enjoying' more than us' As usual i would drop this clip of which i got a very important line. It goes thus, ' They do not look like you and me and so they must be Evil'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlzuWbDHZrU |
