Travel › Re: Why Don't We Have These Kind Of Streets In Nigeria? by UzomaFC: 11:43pm On Nov 21, 2020 |
PhiliptheArab: We don't have these kind of streets in nigeria because we are not ready to pay the kind of taxes that would fund and maintain those kind of streets.
In the UK, if you are living in the city, you pay council tax which ranges from 60000 to 100000 naira monthly depending on the city. That money goes into making the cities look nice
That's why uk cities have great streets.
If we charged that kind of tax in Nigeria, Nigerians would scream.
So we pay scanty taxes and get scanty and bad roads
The bad roads we have in Nigeria are what we can afford. The sad thing is that looting still happens on top Baba thanks for ur contribution, but let me shock U, I can't paste my tax certificate here, but I ll tell U what I pd yearly the ones I can remember cos am very very angry. In 2019: 1.2M In 2018: 810,000k In 2017: 720.000k Note: We re many that is been taxed like this in my place of work. So bros I disagree that it's tax, we re so greedy in this side of the divide. |

Chinnybaby190: The judgement being passed here by some people is unfair. Someone even said I'm backstabbing my husband and talking him down in public. That's not fair.
I was doing everything even when i was tired, dieing inside, nobody hear any complaint from me. Now we are no more hiding in our home with all our challenges. We are open to relatives interference because they knows what we''re going through since we're living with them and other people will still here even if they're not going to help. It will still keep spreading.
The thing driving me crazy and too burden is my husband's attitude towards the whole thing. He behaves like someone who has completed given up. Which I've read from some advice here that it might be his own way of suppressing depression.
If his attitude and actions are signs of depression and secret sucidal, I will never leave him.
When I married this guy, I didn't marry him for his money. I didn't even know he had money because he didn't show it. I sacrificed many things to be with him as well. Everything effort holding this marriage right now, is on me. It shows I can't break down, nor fall sick. I must be on the run both physically, materially, spiritually and emotionally. I love my son, I love my husband as well. But it's too much on me that it seems the only way for me to relax alittle is to go somewhere alone and have a breath.
If You can, take out time fast for 3 days and stay in Gods presence and listen cos God wants to talk to you, leave all this complaints and do this biko nu. you don't expect everyone to praise you at least most of the people both folks are encouraging you to stay strong. If it's too much , go inside lock the door and praise/worship the King of Kings , the One that created both the heaven and the earth. You can as well go meet your pastor if you don't know how to start, however this is wake up call that you must always ought to pray.
I prayed for You up there and I pray again that let the peace of God that passeth all human understanding dwell in your heart and your husband. Arise and shine. And again, you must start taking him to church to pray together cos nobody is going to provide solution to you expect God. |

Madam I believe that God listens to women that prays in alignment, Y re U not making use of that privilege that has be availed by God to women.
Study the scriptures and look at how the might women of the old was able to archive what they were known for.
Everything starts from the spiritual cos from the account of creation, everything that God did started from the spiritual relms cos He calleth things that were not to be. So therefore follow same rule.
My dear sister if U want things to change: 1.Remove every form of negativity cos it's attracting devil to ur marriage. 2.Like Hannah in the bible, it's time to wear ur garment of prayer and breakthrough. 3.Re-dedicate ur marriage back to God and reclaim ur husband. 4. Things re created in the spiritual relms before it appears in the physical. cos ur husband has be attacked in the spiritual relms and some things has be done to him and it's U that is seeing it that can do something about it.
I pray alot since I understand the tricks of the evil one and since then, things re really working well for my marriage. Biko remove any form of negativity oooooooooo, and make sure that U re in alignment with heaven and God will hear.
I pray for ur husband via U that let the grace that's upon me rest on him too. I command him to arise and shine in the name of Jesus.
And I also command every negative thoughts in ur heart to seize in the might name of Jesus.

Oga please summon the two of them and make her to tell him by her self in your presence but before you summon both, pray and ask the Holy spirit to direct. I can assure you that it was the Holy spirit that directed your foot steeps to that environment at the particular time for "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).
"If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them" (James 4:17)
God has provided your friend way of escape through you however, the enemy is till at work to discourage your heart.

Liesssssss, I have seen that this covid is scam and a very big one, cos am a living witness with my colleagues at my work place. They sd we are all covid 19 postive but we re well and healthy and none of our family is down even our aged parents. They chosed to call some people to come to isolation center themselves ooooooo, and they only gave them vit c, zinc to boost their immune system that's all.
But me typing this thing has gone for 3 tests and am just laughing at how they re just scaming themselves not me.
I got wounded and bleeded badly from the nose that I told my company Dr that I will never do that test again cos I hv been on self isolation for 2 months, 1 week and 5hrs 48secs including my colleagues. |

Why can't we start here in this NL to attack anyone who opens a thread to spite any tribe, every tribe in this forum should tell that person off by so doing people will stop insulting people here. radautoworks: Your lucky. Your car is 5w30 only and doesn't require synthetic though because of it's age it might benefit from it. Problem is what they've been using before is 20w50 and may have already damaged the engine. You can try one oil change with conventional 5w30 and see if it shorts oil. If it does, go back to 20w50 and when you have the money get the engine rebuilt. If it doesn't, continue using 5w30 and if you want, synthetic. Ok thanks so much I ll make plan to get the oil change ASAP |

radautoworks: Synthetic is a higher grade than conventional (mineral oil). Technically synthetic is better hence the higher cost HOWEVER, it is not necessary if your car does not require it. Some cars require synthetic oil and will have engine problems if you don't use it, others don't. Conventional oil typically have 3 months/3,000 miles between oil changes while synthetic typically having 6 months/5,000 miles between changes with some going as long as 15,000 miles for extended oil changes.
