For the records, MNK never wanted to be president in his Biafra. Look at what happened in Ghana when Kwame Nkrumah took over. He was a freedom fighter not a leader. Look at what happened in China when Mao Tse Tong took over with the help of his people's liberation army,PLA.
This is not the Biafra Kanu wants. He has stated it over and over again that he would choose Obi or GEJ to superintend Biafra if he succededs while he retires to a private life.

YES,SOUTH EAST WILL STILL CHOOSE PETER OBI IF BIAFRA IS CREATED.

I don't have ego issue. I am here begging for money. I did not give the details on the post. Even if you promise to help me now, when the time comes, you will disappoint me. I was cutting off friends before I realized it was not their fault. If you wish to buy my product, when the time comes, you will tell me stories or the person will have some problems that needs money.

Look for MFM church in your location, the MAIN REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS, attend it, and recount the problem to them. What that girl did to you is a very minor challenge, you have a weak spiritual life/prayer life, that's why it has held you captive for so long. Many have faced worse things, yet break forth. If the man who told you to bring 60k is a native doctor or spiritualist, believe me, he Will not solve your problems, even if he does, it will be a temporary solution, don't listen to him.

What you need is not money but prayers. Whatever money one gives you will go the same way every other thing went because that girl casted an evil spell on you. MrOjay1:
Last friday evening, my friend in the hood called me on phone to inform me of a job opening in an ongoing construction site somewhere around Agbara (Lagos).

He told me the pay is 2,300 per day depending on if you were able to finish the day's job.

I told him i was interested (no choice for a broke man) and asked him when we are to leave for the place. He said we'll leave for Agbara the next day early in the morning to get there on time and start with others.

'No wahala', I said.

We set off the next morning and got there before 7 or thereabouts. When the supervisor saw me said, 'oboy as you dey lenge lenge (slim) like this, you sure say you go fit do this kind work so??'

I told him i could. Shey no be my mates dey do am?

I started the work which was carrying mixed concrete and sand up into the second floor of the building.

The work no easy o. I wan die true to God but i just chinned up and continued. I worked like this till afternoon.

My body was telling me to stop but i continued being that i wanted my full pay for the day then something happened.

As i was climbing up the scaffolded stairs, my limbs had become weak and my eyes dazed, i had no energy left again to climb up to the second floor so while trying to muster up energy as i climbed, I mis-stepped my footings and was about falling off the stairs down to the ground laden with bamboo, nails, stones and co far below but was saved by the hand of another worker coming up the stairs behind me. He had already noticed my fatigue and signs of faint feeling.

My headpan had already crashed down the ground.

I wonder what would have happened to me. Probably would have died.

The supervisor heard of it and was furious, lambasting me saying,' shebi i tell you say you no fit do this work? Na so you for put me for trouble.Oya dey go house now now, he said as he put his hands in his pocket and brought out 1400 as my payment.

I protested and demanded my full payment but he wasn't listening and was threatening to call the police.

I left the place, went home and used half the money to treat the sprain and pains i was feeling all over my body.

Politics / Breaking News: Ebonyi State Governor Tests Positive To Coronavirus by uzucuzu1(m): 2:37pm On Jul 04, 2020
Dave Umahi, governor of Ebonyi state, has tested positive for coronavirus.

The governor broke the news in a statement he personally signed on Saturday.

The statement said the result of the test conducted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) came back positive.

Some aides of Umahi also tested positive.

The governor has directed Kelechi Igwe, his deputy, to take over the frontline coordination of the state’s fight against the pandemic.

Umahi, who said he is not showing any symptom at the moment, appealed to the people of Ebonyi to take the NCDC protocols more seriously.

He said for now, he would work from home and conduct all meetings virtually.

According to the NCDC, Ebonyi has recorded at least 438 cases of the virus, as of Friday evening.

Also, about 357 persons have been successfully treated and discharged while three have died.

After sending his samples for test, Umahi had said his deputy would coordinate the fight against COVID-19 if his result came back positive.

“If I test positive, my deputy will carry on with the fight as a frontline worker, but we will be extremely careful and use zoom to do our jobs. No retreat, no surrender! We will fight this COVID-19 matter to the end,” he had told cabinet members in Abakaliki, the state capital.

“We will have the public hearing on our proposed plan of the COVID-19 fight next week and either me or my deputy will head the meeting, and I will contribute through zoom, if I test positive.”

Celebrities / Dr Dre: Global Music Icon Is Getting Divorced by uzucuzu1(m): 9:49am On Jul 03, 2020
In what seems like nuthin' but a heartbreak thang, Dr. Dre's wife of 24 years filed for divorce on June 29, 2020. How does a relationship spanning more than two decades come to such an abrupt halt?

According to TMZ, Nicole Young cited irreconcilable differences as the deal-breaker with Dr. Dre (aka Andre Young). A source told the tab that the rapper and his wife never signed a prenup, which could make sorting out financial affairs a messy process. The soon-to-be ex of Dr. Dre is reportedly asking for spousal support from the music mogul, who is worth about $800 million. (Remember when he sold his Beats headphone line to Apple for a cool $3 billion?) Nicole may be ready to forget about Dre but not the fortune they amassed during their marriage.
Dr. Dre has yet to chime in as to why his relationship with his wife crumbled after almost two and a half decades. All the more surprising is that in the months leading up to their split, all seemed well. Let's dig into the real reason these two are calling it quits.

Dr. Dre and Nicole Young seemed to be going strong
Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
According to The Sun, the last time Dr. Dre and Nicole Young were seen together at a public shindig was at a Tom Ford fashion show in February 2020. They were "all smiles," per The Blast, holding hands and strutting down the red carpet with their daughter, Truly Young. (The couple also shares a son named Truce).

Earlier that same month, Dr. Dre bragged about his wife's cooking skills and discussed the quality time they were planning to spend together for his birthday. "I decided to just keep it low-key this time– I'm going to have a few friends over and my wife is going to do a crab boil for me," he reportedly told BigBoyTV about his birthday plans. "I love crab. We're just going to kick it."

The "Keep Their Heads Ringin'" rapper doesn't post a ton of content on social media, but he honored their anniversary in 2018 by sharing sweet pics of the two hopping a helicopter to a showing of Hamilton. Despite the power couple's positive image, the divorce news is prompting discussions about Dr. Dre's dark past.
At the time of this writing, neither Dr. Dre nor Nicole Young have divulged details about their split, but the divorce news has prompted conversations about the rapper's controversial history with women.

Multiple women have accused the music mogul of abuse and infidelity. In 2015, Dr. Dre addressed his dark past in an interview with The New York Times. "I'm doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again," he said. "I apologize to the women I've hurt. I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives."

The Straight Outta Compton rapper also addressed his past in the HBO docu-series The Defiant Ones. "Any man that puts his hands on a female is a f**king idiot," he said (via NME). "He's out of his f**king mind, and I was out of my f**king mind at the time. I f**ked up ... I have this dark cloud that follows me, and it's going to be attached to me forever. It's a major blemish on who I am as a man."
Young was previously married to former basketball pro Sedale Threatt. She wed Dr. Dre in May 1996.

If you or someone you know has been the victim of sexual assault, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or visit RAINN.org for additional resources.

When Nicole Young met and fell for Dr. Dre she was, in fact, still married to her first husband, former NBA player Sedale Threatt. If you don't know Threatt from his playing days with the Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, or Los Angeles Lakers (among others), than you may remember him from the bad press of his past. According to The New York Times, he was an "absentee father" with an "astoundingly complex family tree." He reportedly fathered at least 14 children (although there could be more), and at least two kids were both named Sedale Jr.

Young and Threatt wed in 1992 and split four years later, according to Us Weekly. However, before they divorced, Young had already fallen for Dr. Dre. In fact, Us Weekly reported that the rapper "penned a romantic letter to Young, convincing her to leave Threatt and pursue a relationship with him instead."

If you're wondering exactly what was in that persuasive love note, Genius has got you covered with a copy of the text on their site. But only time will tell how these two exes communicate as divorce proceedings continue.

Celebrities / Possible 30years Jail Term Awaits Hushpuppi, See Why by uzucuzu1(m): 8:27am On Jul 03, 2020
The fate of Abbas Igbalode better known Hushpuppi hits a crossroad as he has been extradited to the United State of America. It will be recalled that the Dubai Police arrested “Hushpuppi” and “Woodberry” in a special operation dubbed “Fox Hunt 2” by the Dubai Police.

The duo was taken down for committing crimes outside the UAE, including money-laundering, cyber fraud, hacking, criminal impersonating, scamming individuals, banking fraud, and identity theft.

It’s no more news that Hushpuppi has been on the radar of the FBI for a while now. The FBI director, was happy to receive the seems to be invincible and untouchable Hushpuppi. the director extends the Bureau appreciation to the Dubai police for cooperating with the extradition.

As it is, the chances of Hushpuppi regaining freedom is just like waiting for the return of God. As the United States criminal code states that

“Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, mail, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years”.

Hushpuppi case worsens, as the criminal code further states, if the money laundered is meant for a disaster or crisis, the culprit is subjected to 30 years and/or 1 million dollars. It will be recalled that the alleged millions of dollars Hushpuppi diverted are meant for coronavirus victims

If the violation occurs in relation to, or involving any benefit authorized, transported, transmitted, transferred, disbursed, or paid in connection with, a presidentially declared major disaster or emergency (as those terms are defined in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122)), or affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.”

Sports / Humanitarian, She Sacrificed Her W.N.B.A Career To Free Man From Prison by uzucuzu1(m): 8:08am On Jul 03, 2020
W.N.B.A. Star’s Role in Freeing Man From Prison Shows Female Athletes at Forefront

Largely outside of the limelight, athletes like Maya Moore, who helped win the freedom of Jonathan Irons in a questionable conviction, have led the charge for social change.
Still in her prime, Maya Moore sacrificed her career, stepping away as one of the greats in basketball for a long shot bid to help free a prisoner she was convinced had been wrongfully convicted.

There would be no fifth W.N.B.A. championship, no bid for another Olympic gold medal, no fans gasping at the perfect jump shot.

In a shock to the sport, she left the game — temporarily, she said — in early 2019 to free Jonathan Irons, a Missouri man who continuously claimed innocence as he served a 50-year prison sentence for burglary and assault with a gun.

And on Wednesday, her sacrifice paid the ultimate dividend.

Irons, 40, walked out of a Missouri prison a free man after spending 23 years behind bars. After an appeal Moore partially funded and publicly backed, Irons’s sentence had been overturned. In a scene of tearful celebration outside the front doors of the Jefferson City Correctional Center, Moore and her family at long last greeted the man they’ve come to consider one of their own.

“I’m pumped that people are understanding where the real change lies as far as giving something up,” Moore said at a news conference on Thursday. “That’s all of us, giving something up, if you have any sort of power.”

Athletes across sports have joined calls for social and racial justice, especially in the most recent wave spurred by deaths of Black people at the hands of the police.

And female athletes like Moore have often been at the forefront but outside the limelight as men, working in leagues with higher television ratings, tend to get the lion’s share of coverage.

“The N.B.A. and N.F.L. get noticed and the accolades, but the W.N.B.A and women in sport so often tend to be ahead of everybody else,” said Victoria Jackson, a sports historian at Arizona State University. “Look at Maya, she essentially gave up her career at a peak moment to put her heart and soul into this.”

Players like LeBron James garnered quick headlines with his backing of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, his opening of a charter school in Akron, Ohio, his willingness to snipe back against conservative media pundits who say he should stick to sports.

Colin Kaepernick and his kneeling during the national anthem has made an indelible image as he has remained a powerful, behind-the-scenes force for change while still unable to get a job in the N.F.L. since 2016.

Yet the role of female athletes in this movement, including Moore’s decision to back Irons and campaign for justice reform, seems to cycle in and out of the public consciousness, and is minimized. The reasons lie in a manifold mix that include race, the status of women in our society, and the way that women’s sports still struggle for attention on the sports landscape.

“Part of the reason female athletes who speak out are so easily ignored, why we don’t see or hear what they are doing, is that they barely have a mic to begin with,” says Amira Rose Davis, an assistant professor at Penn State who specializes in race, sport and gender.

“It is hard enough to get women’s sports on TV,” or other powerful media, Davis added. “So it is not really surprising in the moment that female athletes leading the fight for justice so often get overlooked. And that is a shame because these athletes, particularly Black women athletes, have consistently been some of the people taking the most decisive action, willing to sacrifice the most, giving up what crumbs they already have in pursuit of equality and justice.”

Take Ariyana Smith. She was the basketball player at Knox College in Illinois, who in 2014, shortly after a police officer shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., walked to the court before a game with her hands raised in protest, then fell to the floor for four-and-a-half minutes to symbolize the four-and-a-half hours Brown remained in the street after he was killed. Her display of dissent and public mourning for Brown foreshadowed such protests in collegiate sports.
Players on college football teams like Oklahoma State, Kansas State and U.C.L.A. have received widespread attention over the past several weeks for speaking up against their coaches over issues related to race and their health in a deadly pandemic.

But getting less national attention has been Anna Cockrell, an All-American hurdler at the University of Southern California, who recently announced the formation of a Black student-athlete association and is pressing the tradition-bound private university for change.

There is also Christianna Carr, the Kansas State women’s basketball player who has helped lead Black athletes to threaten to boycott playing until the university takes on-campus racism more seriously.

In the National Women’s Soccer League, starters from the Portland Thorns and the North Carolina Courage took a knee during the national anthem before the opening game, demanding change. Other clubs have followed suit.

An entire team quitting en masse in the name of human rights and social justice? That’s what the players on the professional, all-female, Scrap Yard Fast Pitch softball team did after a recent game. They left, for good, in defiance of a general manager who had bragged to President Trump on Twitter that the team was standing during the anthem, ascribing political intent behind the action.

In a 2017 cover story for Sports Illustrated, Moore, now 31, was called the greatest winner in the history of women’s basketball. It was a nod to her vast collection of championship titles in the Olympics and the pros, and before then at UConn and in high school. But even a performer as superlative as she is has faced constant struggles to be heard.

Shortly before her freshman season at the University of Connecticut in 2007, Moore met Irons through family members who had become close to him through a prison ministry. She and Irons formed a siblinglike bond, and as she learned more about the details of his case she vowed to help him prove his innocence.

She first went public with her decision to leave basketball in order to help free Irons in a short essay in the Players’ Tribune. It took months for her decision to make a deep impression with sports media and fans. When she walked the streets of Atlanta, her adopted hometown, few recognized her.

Her story didn’t garner anywhere near the attention that would have gone to a male player with her level of stature in the sport.

Said Davis, the Penn State professor: “When people are reporting on LeBron or the N.B.A. players doing something for society, and they know they need to nod to a woman they will be like, ‘Oh, and there is also Maya Moore’s work.’ Generally, without deeply considering what it is she is doing and the sacrifice that is required.”

Moore is hardly fazed. Like most female athletes, she is used to fighting against being overlooked.

Four years ago, on the heels of the police killings of Philando Castile in a Minneapolis suburb and Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, La., along with the murder of five police officers in Dallas by a gunman showing signs of mental health problems, Moore and her Minnesota Lynx teammates engaged in a potent protest. In pregame warm-ups they wore T-shirts with the names of Castile and Sterling, the Dallas police shield, and the phrases “Justice and Accountability” and “Black Lives Matter.”

The move proved controversial — drawing the ire of the W.N.B.A., and prompting four off-duty Minneapolis police officers who worked security at Lynx’ games to walk off the job — but it soon spawned imitators and support from players across the league.

Weeks later, Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem.

Moore and her teammates were ahead of the curve.
