OBALOLA55: Which was a figurative term like Christ used often in His various parables. I trust you know that already but, being mischievous is innate for you. You cannot pinpoint a single instance that Him or His disciples physically fronted a war. He despised violence and that what why He healed Malchus’ ear when Simon chopped it off with his sword. Can’t compare that with a conman that called himself a prophet but couldn’t perform a single miracle all through his life but was busy pursuing wars of conquest, looting, pedophilla under the guise of an unverifiable visions. 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: Nigeria: Afghanistan Is A Lesson, Do Not Depend On America by Vado(m): 10:06am On Aug 16, 2021 |
USA achieved its aim of killing Osama. Staying 20yrs+ to train and equipped the Afghan army who gave up without any resistance and apparently sympathetic to the terrorist talibans is Afghan’s cross to carry. For any amount incurred, killing Osama in the end was worth it for the US. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Will Taliban Takeover Of Afghanistan Strengthen Jihad In Nigeria by Vado(m): 12:29pm On Aug 15, 2021 |
Won’t happen. Nigeria has an estimated 50%-45% Abramic religion adherents unlike Afghanistan with nearly 100% Muslims. Jihad can’t work here. All the Fulani atrocities are prevalent because a closet terror enabling government is in power. It will be fire for fire for the bastards once he leaves. 2 Likes |

The stupid government did not send soldiers to escort these people back to their ancestral lands but are usually quick to do so for any Fulani barbarian whenever the villagers tell them they have had enough. Buhari and his idiotic minions did so to people in Ogun state with the soldiers even whipping the monarch. Be rest assured ye Fulanis, you or your kith won’t escape the wrath of the people. |

“Lawal” obviously a shitty terrorist apologist group like Ishaq Akintola’s own. Religion sentiments have eroded their sense of reasoning. You will never hear them show this level of rage on the numerous herders and terrorists they mofos call bandits. |

gregyboy: After America dropped A-Bomb out of the blue, many countries have also learned to keep their game changers close to their chest. Nuclear bombs aren’t the greatest cool thing right now. Israel wouldn’t even admit they have one. All these show offs doesn’t make any nation the best. Iron Dome wasn’t unnecessarily shown off but when the time for action came, we all saw what it could do. 1 Like |

CursedNsukka: I know they were there before but Russia of the 90s isn’t the same as today. They are ruthless & more technologically advance now just as the China of pre WWII was not a powerful one. Don’t act as if the result would be the same today. The successes recorded by Assad in recent times in reconquering lost territories is credited to Russia. They can get the job done under Putin. |

I think if for some reasons Russia interferes to play an occupying or stabilizing role, the Talibans will be decimated. USA goes by the book too much, Russia has no morals. They, Israel & China sees Islamic terrorism for what it truly is & deal with it decisively. 3 Likes |

Politics / Re: Nigeria Government Should Honestly Let Igboho Be Jailed In Benin by Vado(m): 7:35pm On Jul 31, 2021 |
AlexBells: Why are paranoid about the prospect of a United south? If you don’t know Buhari has done things that is permanently ingrained in the consciousness of Southerners now. Your analysis won’t save a thing. Fulani and by extension the core north will suffer & may not even smell power again in 50 years that is if the inevitable splits doesn’t happen in the next few years. Ex northern leaders have stealthily pursued northern agenda we have always suspected but dumb, nearsighted Buhari made it so obvious and they will surely pay for it. The way Kyari situation is being handle is also another eye opener for gullible southerners. By the time this clown leaves power, APC will implode & a new shift of power an allegiances will be evident. All problematic personalities from the cults of 70s, 80s & 90s will die and fizzle out with their greed. |

If Mohammed didn’t run from the Qurash of Mecca, there wouldn’t be any Islam today. If Mary & Joseph disobeyed the voice of God & logic, there might not be Christianity as you know it today. If Dan Fodio didn’t run to Gudu when the kitchen got too hot, Muslims would probably be a few thousands in the country today. If anyone told you pulling back to re-strategize is cowardly, tell him he is an uncoordinated tactless fool. |

You can say trash to the gullible but not people like us. Igboho’s popularity has gone international. He is doing fine and will turn out more influential than ever before. Politics / Re: The Mugbamugba War – Second Attempt By Yorubas To Regain Control Of Ilorin by Vado(m): 8:13pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
NaijirianKing: Your attempt at revisionism is so silly. Do you know how many Alaafins were buried in what's known as Kwara today before Alimi even got invited in by Solagberu? The Hausa population that existed prior to that were slaves performing hard labor in Ilorin. Ilorin history preceded Afonja. Before him was Laderin, Pasin, Ojo Isekuse. Fulani history in Ilorin started with Alimi and he was a trader in Ogbomosho an outskirt town before Solagberu whom was a traveler an trader also told Afonja about him. The first settler of a place are the aboriginals and obvious owner of such. The only thing was that kingship wasn't what was practiced in the place then since it was a vassal state to Oyo. Cowardly and covetous backstabbers like Alimi' son just wanted what wasn't theirs. Indoctrinated the people, assassinated an aged Afonja then cooked up a strife with Solagberu so as to eliminate him too. By the way, Ilorin didn't get its Emirate status from Sokoto. She got her flag from Gwadu and it wasn't called Emir of Ilorin. The first Emir was christened Oba of Yoruba (documented). That is to let you know that those who created the stool knew whom the people truly were. 1 Like |
Business / Re: CBN Stops Sale Of FOREX To BDCs by Vado(m): 5:15pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
KazikageSama: I support you idea of a roadmap before phasing out. But, this people have made banks redundant. Our banks performed these roles effectively with minimal hiccups even when fintechs haven't sprouted up this much. These guys are conduits for terrorism funding, money laundering and all. Nigeria has always been a perculiar country in the sense that roadmaps are often filled with bumps, they harly works. Vision 2020 was a roadmap, here are we today? Subsidy removal was a roadmap, how far today? BDCs have outlive their usefulness in a digitized financial industry of today. It archaic as practiced here. I trust the banks will evolve and innovate well enough to help us meet our present needs. These cartels gotta go. |
Business / Re: CBN Stops Sale Of FOREX To BDCs by Vado(m): 3:56pm On Jul 27, 2021 |
Resurgent2016: I understand your point but we can’t keep feeding a snake and not expect it to consume us. The problem with us Nigerians is that we look at things short-term too much. We didn’t want to remove subsidies now look at where we are today, banking has evolved and still evolving tremendously. I’m not an economist but I know digital banking is outgrowing conventional models at a crazy pace currently. Nigeria has to get with the program for its own sake. As a highly corrupt nation simultaneously battling terrorism, inflow and outflow of funds has to be keenly monitored. BDCs have had a good run and it’s time to be flushed out because saying you want to regulate them wouldn’t work. You would recall that recently, many BDCs operators of northern origins were nabbed in UAE or so and are being tried. For a bigoted, nepotistic government like this to even approve of this, such cases must have been really bad. These guys have funded terrorism using their channels for almost two decades. Bro, the disadvantages outweigh the positives. There are several channels to transact nowadays on international levels where nature of transactions can be well understood by the authorities. I hope this overhaul is effectively done. The financial markets will heal itself as long as our institutions keep innovating. 4 Likes |
