American Ebola victim Dr. Kent Brantly is on the mend. On Friday, the 33-year-old has released his first statement since arriving in Atlanta for treatment at Emory University Hospital last Saturday. "I am writing this update from my isolation room at Emory University Hospital, where the doctors and nurses are providing the very best care possible," he says. "I am growing stronger every day, and I thank God for His mercy as I have wrestled with this terrible disease." Brantly is one of two Americans flown from Liberia to Emory University Hospital for treatment, the other being 59-year-old missionary Nancy Writebol. Brantly adds: "My wife Amber and I, along with our two children, did not move to Liberia for the specific purpose of fighting Ebola. We went to Liberia because we believe God called us to serve Him at ELWA Hospital." "One thing I have learned is that following God often leads us to unexpected places. When Ebola spread into Liberia, my usual hospital work turned more and more toward treating the increasing number of Ebola patients. I held the hands of countless individuals as this terrible disease took their lives away from them. I witnessed the horror firsthand, and I can still remember every face and name." "When I started feeling ill on that Wednesday morning, I immediately isolated myself until the test confirmed my diagnosis three days later. When the result was positive, I remember a deep sense of peace that was beyond all understanding. God was reminding me of what He had taught me years ago, that He will give me everything I need to be faithful to Him. " He concludes: "Now it is two weeks later, and I am in a totally different setting. My focus, however, remains the same–to follow God. As you continue to pray for Nancy and me, yes, please pray for our recovery. More importantly, pray that we would be faithful to God's call on our lives in these new circumstances." A man at New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital was recently isolated after presenting Ebola-like symptoms, but his test results came back negative on Wednesday. http://www.people.com/article/

this mbaka again. When would he learn to stop dabbling into the affairs of imo state politics?. So his conscience has finally come back to him abi? Where was his conscience when he publicly proclaimed in 2011 that he would drop his bible and denounce his christian faith should ohakim win re-election?, where went his conscience when the catholic church came up with the killer rumour that ohakim slapped a rev father?, where was his conscience when father Obinna of assumpta cathedral owerri invited the governorship aspirants to dan anyiam stadium and rented the crowd that booed and disgraced governor ohakim as he was about to make his own speech?, The people of imo state are now wiser and we don't need any rev father anymore to dabble on our affairs and show us what to do! We will kick rochas out of douglas house ourselves come 2015 |

I will go straight to the point now and come back later to reply some dumbass posts here by Berem, abagworo and that ngene of a biatch. CURSED SHALL BE THE PERSON OR PERSONS WHO EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY SUPPORTS ROCHAS IN HIS BID FOR 2nd TENURE. YOU and your GENERATION together with ROCHas shall NEVER see GOOD IN LIfE until you realise and stop any support for rochas. My younger cousin was among those that benefited from OHAKIM's 10,000 jobs for youth, they had been paid some allowances by ohakim then but rochas came, dissolved and sacked all the employees in the various parastatals and departments uptill now the young man is still unemployed.
