Smh. Wetin concern France , US etc again after Ecowas has passed a resolution and asked for AU and UN to endorse it? Does he not know that this is no longer Nigeria or even Ecowas or AU business again once these global agencies approve the resolution?

This is a Senator who has been officially communicated to by the Senate President delivering the letter of the President, stating in black and white that the action being taken against Niger is Ecowas resolution yet, if this is a true report, he is sounding so clueless and out of point. The Senate President better call him to order or the Senate summon him to come and explain the relationship of this post with the official letter read to them by the Senate President.

This kind of recklessness imposes a serious diplomatic problem when one is (mis)using his Senator of FRN status to dabble into international issues which he or she doesn't understand or understand but chose to be mischievous.
Please, go and read about ECOMOG. The ECOMOG was made up of 70% Nigerian soldiers. 10% was UNIMOG, the rest of West Africa contributed 20%. You think if Niger and Wagner want to throw bombs or missiles, they will target Ghana or Senegal? Rather they will target Abuja.

Ragtag Boko Haram has defied your army, they now want to face Wagner who have capability to explore uranium and make their bombs?

Almijiri please just one question, how much foreign exchange did your state & Local Government make last year from exporting commodities based on their comparative advantages, to help defend the Naira against the greenback?

Or validated lazy man like you dey wait for only Federal Government receipts from crude oil sale for foreign exchange?

Real confirmed Almijiri.
Dindirin, if my state stop pipelines, your state and you will be hungry. My state contributes 56% of National greenback.

Your bala blu bulaga brother came and started rubbish policies that has destroyed what is left of the Naira and you are still standing on your renewed shege banza. Una go suffer for that your brown-roof republic. A salary earner state is talking when oil and gas republic is talking.

May I on behalf of millions of Nigerians suffering ask Tinubu and his confused economic team to reverse the floating of the Naira. Ihf this a matter of pride. It has become foolish.

It smacks of irresponsibility to float a third world country's currency in the face of current global economic decline and crisis occasioned by COVID and Russia-Ukraine war. If the pride is because of what people may say, Tinubu and his team should consider what people would do when hunger drives them crazy.

For the upteempt time, Tinubu and his confused CBN managers should realize that without intervention, the Naira will continue its downward slide even up to N5000/$1. There is no voodoo to it.

In less than 80 days, Naira lhas lost 130%, at that rate, the $1 would be N2000 in another 90 days.

Unfortunately for op and Shaibu, Gov Obaseki does not have anything to do or any power to impeach his deputy. It is the House of Assemblly and the chief judge. If he committed impeacheable offences,, so be it.

The court judgement is ultra vires, null and void and mere academic exercise. The learned justice ventured into a desert route that leads to no where in law.

After all, Tinubu betrayed Depity Gov Akerele-Bucknor, Afenifere that supported him and also betrayed Femi Pedro, the second deputy governor. So it is surprisingthat those who saw nothingwrong with Tinubu's double betrayal are now gloating over Obaseki

Trump and Biden must be ayange's

Eish
.

Unfortunately, in the US, Trump and Biden CANNOT retire vibrant military officers or even civil servant because they have been in office for 8 years. Again, why do you like to pick and chose? Do you always have to follow bad example?
Why have you not seen any good examples in Canada, UK and France where you lot run to?
Politics › Time To Fix Retirement Age For Our Politicians by Validated(op):
In public service and even in private service retirement age ranges from 50 to 60 years or 35 years of service, whichever comes earlier.

In the military and armed forces, it is even worse. You could be retired at 40 because s new government does not like you or your tribe is more in service.

While we at it, politicians and very aged people still find themselves in the Senate, House of Rep, ministers, etc.

Why do we not have retirement age for our political class? This is the more reason we keep recycling same people. Someone was a minister 26 years ago, he became governor for eight years, then back to minister. Meanwhile in all of these years, our economy is in shambles, Nigerians are worse off.

It is very disturbing to have those who were elected or appointed to political offices in 1999 still there. Then we ask civil servants of directorate levels to retire after 8 years.

For goodness sake, politics is a career to some people, same as army is a career for others. We need to review our constitution to either unify retirement age or place a ceiling on politicians.

For me, anyone over 65 years should retire because they have nothing else to offer. This should apply to both politicians; military, judges, civil servants, political appointees, etc.

They can go and farm or do something else. Retire to their villages and become Oba, Obi, emirs or even go and be playing Golf to allow younger brains to move Nigeria forward.

Tell me, who in our Senate can tell anything about AI? Which of our ministers designate have presented any paper on the 21st century economic initiatives. I listened to the so called screening and all I hear is history and nothing like I developed this or I created this. You hear some say, "we" as if the we are coming to lead the ministries. In saner clmes they present their achievements in STAR (Situation, Target, Action and Results) format. Here you hear things like I was former this and that. What was the state when you got there, what did you improve, what are the results? Nothing!

You can imagine going for an interview to lead a bank and the interviewer just say, oh, you were once a banker; take a bow , then the old man with walking aid goes and be scoring in the ministry.

In the next 24 hrs, ECOWAS led Nigeria president should be attacking Niger.

While Niger is amassing troops from Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Wagner, Russia etc, Nigeria is still awaiting Akpabio to give go ahead. Hehehe! Akpabio to approve war grin grin grin

1.0 Tinubu first stated as ECOWAS Chairman that "the end to coup has come in WA", Niger defiled him and removed Bazoum.

2.0 Then Tinubu sent emissary to the coup leaders to restore Bazoum and return to the barracks. The coupists shun the "reverred" Sultan of Sokoto, the respected Abdulsalami and Tinubu's delegation. Infact, they did not allow them to get out of the Niamey airport

3.0 Nigeriens coupists and their citizens took to the streets to mock Tinubu. They made caricature of Tinubu on the streets of Niger.

4.0 If Tinubu fails to attack Niger by Monday, after the expiration of the 7 days ultimatum, just know that Nigeria is just big for nothing with Tinubu as president. Our pride as the "giant of Africa" will be nothing but a joke.

Ghanaians and South African will troll us die.

Meanwhile, Nigerien Coupist: 3; Tinubu & ECOWAS: 0.

The coupists know that Nigeria is led by a "bloody" civilian president from the South. The Fulani and Nigerien gwodo-gwodo soldiers who have been fending off Lybian dissidents can stand 1:5 Nigerians troop.
Then you add Algeria, Lybia, Mali, Wagner, Russia.

Tinubu just dey shakara for his followers by sending letter to NASS that he wants to attack Niger. Which NASS would approve such? Akpabio led NASS or which joint NASS will support such resolution? People that have not collected 10% of their expected loot?

Tinubu CANNOT attack Niger. If Buhari was still in power, may be, but Tinubu? Abeg, tell the coupists to go and sleep with their wives. Nothing dey happen.

The worst Nigeria can do is to sanction Niger and that ends it. Even disconnecting Niger from power will not happen, because if Niger determines to dam the Niger somewhere up, Kainji will be a pond and half of Northern Nigeria will become wasteland.

Oya, attack me for telling you the TRUTH you already know!

The people of Niger are rejoicing over the coup in their country. Why are we the ones fighting while the Nigeriens are dancing on their streets?

Our people are here on NL fighting or rather drinking panadol for another person's headache.

For goodness sake, some of us protested to EU office chanting war songs and calling on EU to leave Nigeria to handle her internal affairs.

Why can't we also allow Niger to manage her internal crisis? Who appointed us the police over Niger, a sovereign nation?

Abeg, leave Niger to handle her internal affairs because, we would not allow external entities to dabble into our internal affairs.
