OP, truth is that in Osun State, Adeleke as the State Chief Executive is already changing all the bad policies of Oyetola, even with majority APC HOA members. In Edo, Obaseki handled irresponsible HOA assembly members and clipped their wings. In Imo, Uzodinma influenced all PDP HOA members to transmute to APC members. Amaechi worked with 3 HOA members for over 2 years, heaven did not fall.

When Peter Obi is sworn in, it is that time you will know that ALL APC and PDP members from SE and SS will rise up and defend "our own". So reps and Senators from the following states will queue behind him first.

- Anambra

Lagos is a poor state. IGR is claimed to be N50b, Aloha-Beta takes N5b, leaving N45b. Debt servicing takes N27b. What is left? Only N18 billion. The salary alone has swallowed that amount, hence Sanwuolu can only promise, but cannot implement any increment

As published by DMO, Lagos State debt is N1.43 Trillion. Most of the debts are foreign currency denominated, implying that interest is payable in say USD. Hence, such debts incur FX translation losses as Naira keeps declining..
That said, the bigger issue is the debt servicing cost. At an interest rate of say 22%, Lagos government may be paying a whooping N308 Billion annually. That is N25.7 billions monthly.

Now we hear Lagos has IGR of N50 billion, out of which Alpha-Beta collects N5b, leaving the state with just N45b. It means than more than half of that goes into debt servicing, not repayment ooo! Simply put, what is left off IGR is N19.3Billion.
So you can see that in real terms, Lagos is poorer than many states with lesser IGR and also low debts.

These are Tinubu's legacy they pride about. These are the legacies APC has brought to Nigeria and would incur more if Nigerians do not chase them away come February and March next year.
