The APC leadership are thought to be frantically courting Wike to support Tinubu's presidential elections. Who do they take Wike for, a fool?. Or better still, a political neophyte?

In the build up to 2003 general elections, OBJ and the 5 AD governors (excluding Tinubu in Lagos) struck a deal to backed OBJ with the agreement that OBJ and PDP would support their re-election bid. They all lost their re-elections, because immediately PDP won the presidency in their state, PDP activated the bandwagon effect on the electorates. Wike knows that if APC wins Rivers presidential election, PDP would be overran in the governorship, same way PDP overran AD in SW in 2003.

Secondly, Wike is better off supporting Peter Obi, who would not be a threat to PDP in subsequent elections, unlike APC. LP candidate for governorship would even step down in honour of Wike's magnanimity to PO than challenge him at the polls. Wike knows his political enemies and would rather avoid them entirely

Thirdly, although many may disagree with this, but about 95% of Christians do not support the muslim-muslim ticket and Wike is obviously not among the 5% Christians who have chosen the part of Demas, who forsook christianity and abandoned the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Wike may not voice it, but Shettima was and still remains a political enemy to Wike. As minister for States for Education, Wike knows that Shettima orchastrated the kidnapping of Chibok girls to dent both his ministry's image and those of GEJ. That singular act destroyed GEJ government both locally and internationally. See attched letter Wike wrote Shettima, which was clearly ignored by Shettima. If Shertima acted on Wike's letter, Chibok would NEVER have happened. No Wike, with concussions would support a Shettima or rather patronize such evil doer. Fourthly, Ameachi and his APC team would go to the market with the story of how APC delivered Tinubu in Rivers State. The gubernatorial elections is about 2 weeks away from the presidential polls. In politics, two weeks is enough time to destroy your opponent politically, especially in an election year. Wike knows this game.

So, in my view and thoughtfulness, Wike would rather support Peter Obi's LP, who are no threats to his successor than an evil infested APC, whose candidate is even sick and weak.

What I have noticed about many easterners is that they easily took up fight they can't finish but later playing a victim card. An artist, stars living in Lagos can choose their preferred presidential candidate but must be very careful of mocking Tinubu. This is wisdom and not emotion.

Upon all that Wike has done and still doing to Atiku's campaign, Reno Omokri dares not make any negative comments against Wike. You know why, unlike Peter Obi, Wike will wash him publicly and air dry him. So he avoids Wike.

We are not like urchins and mikano boys who go to party campaigns because they are "monetized or mobilized" by politicians.

The good thing is that on February 25, 2023, a Saturday, a work-free day, we shall all troop out with our PVCs to send Tinubu and Atiku to political oblivion. That is the day they will know that ANAP/POI polls results are not jokes.

Truth is that over 90% of Obidients are workers, self-employed and youth. You do not expect a gainfully employed Nigerian to leave his business to go to stadium a normal working day.

Only jobless people and mostly politicians have time to waste at stadiums in the name of political campaigns. So, if only 50000 people are at any rally, know that 90 time that number are working and not campaign attendees.

We are not like urchins and agberos who are jobless and are only motivated or "monetised" and sometimes coarser to rally location.

However, on election day, which is work-free day, we are not working but trooping out to vote for Peter Obi. APC/PDP will understand what ANAP/POI poll means on February 25, 2023.
