There should be provincial governments modeled after the provinces before 1963 or so creation of regions. Each province would be self sustaining. Canada is modelled in such manner. RSN would be better iff practising Paliamentary rather than presidential model of democracy.

It is even gradual migration to 50% in 35 years, that is by 2056, whereas other mineral resources are 100% from 2021. Mad people with evil senses!
If we are serious all mineral resourses must be migrated as follows:
1. Economy:
2021 - 50% with FG taking 15% and rest shared
2026 - 70% with FG taking 15% and rest shared
2031 -100% with states paying 20% to a FG consolidated revenue account
VAT shared at 5% to federating states (discussed below) and 2.5% to FG
3. Political
Political return to 12 states structure called Provinces and allow federating unit (states own and manage their resources) and contribute to Provincial and Federal pool.
3. Devolution of power
Allow provinces to have their police and security
Dissolve the NASS, and create a representative federal parliament of 24 members only. Reduce cost of governance. Two members from each province. Provinces to have at least 20 representatives based on ethnic or local government representation. Retain current local governments with stronger financial base to handle local taxes and manage primary healthcare and primary schools.

4. Agrc and social services

7. Education
Enforce compulsory 12 years education policy across Nigeria, that is compulsory Primary and Secondary education. Arrest any child and parents of school age not in school. Enforce SSCE as prerequisite for anyone 18 years from 2025 owning a bank account and obtaining government loans, except for older folks that are 30 years and above by 2025
8. Electoral process
Make NIN registration compulsory for everyone 16 years and above. All NIN must be link to BVN, VOTERS CARD and DRIVER LICENCE.

There is NOTHING like South-South. Why is there no North-North, go back to regional structures and let each region pay taxes to FG at rates to be detrrmined. Let each state in the former regions decide where they want to belong. Why must Kaduna South remain in Kaduna and be constantly mowed down by the muslim North?
Secondly, if they want to make states federating units, each state should automatically own their mineral resources, including oil and gas resource. Why would Zamfara keep her gold earning and be sharing Bayelsa oil for 35% years, even leaving 18%, 20%, etc. Nonesense.
They should go back to the drawing board ... create 7 federating units instead of 6. excise Kaduna South from North-West and create create a Midle Belt region made up of 6 states.

The next recession will be the worst ever in Nigeria history. Predictably, by Q2 of 2021, Nigeria will slide into her 4th recession, all under Buhari's government. This is a fact looming on our faces, if you blink, you are economically deseased.
By the mid-Q2, $1 is projected to hit N750, CBN cannot hold it as our import dependence cannot be supported by oil and gas earning. Then FG and CBN will have no option than to redenominate the Naira, such that the new Naira would be equivalence of US$50. However, your Naira in your bank would be devalued by 500%. Say you had N500,000, you will get N1000 new Naira That is not the problem. The problem is that the new Naira would become eroded in a year or 2, because the productive capacity of the economy is weak and our consumption will remain higher than production. Hence as an import dependent economy the new Naira will become worthless again. Unfortunately, our minister of Finance only knows how to borrow. Our debt servicing (not repayment) would swallow up non oil earning. Already states are already finding it difficult to pay salaries. Printing of currency would exercebate the already inflationary trend, leading to hyper-inflation. Government may clamp down on BDCs in her desperation, not minding the operators are Hausa/Fulanis.
The signs are everywhere now. Already some banks have pegged $ deposit to only $5k a month, this is to reduce amount of Fx people are buying and reduce the exhange pressure on few dollars coming in.
For you and I, the only option for self preservation is to save our money in Dollars or Pound Sterling.
