The North is dragging everyone back into the 20th century with her poor education, craze for purposeless leadership, corruption, etc. The South is dancing macarbre dance shouting and doing nothing while her resources are plundered. Majority of southern leaders are slaves to the North, yes majority. You held a CONFAB and one man tuck under his pillow and all you do is go to Abuja to take pictures. Make the offices deendent on PDP membership. Simple.

2. Ijaws constitute the coastal areas of Rivers state which constitutes about 39% of Rivers putting Rivers state at approximately 6 million today that puts Ijaws in Rivers at over 2 million.

3. The Ijaws in Delta State: the population of Delta state shall be running at about another 6 million, let's say the Ijaws Chuns out another 2 million people over there.

This 3 states alone could arguably put Ijaws at about 6.5 million in just 3 states, tell me another tribe in Nigeria apart from Igbo, Hausa, Fulani and Yoruba coming anywhere close to the above verifiable data.

Then add the Ijaws in Edo State, with Ondo, with Lagos, there is no verifiable data in these Areas as these states especially Lagos and Ondo are trying too hard to Yorubanize the Ijaws in these areas.

Should a realistic census be conducted in Nigeria indicating tribes the Ijaws could be well over 17 million.

Why do you think the Ijaws inflate our population, when last did we hold crucial role in the census bureau, Goodluck Jonathan was not the president at 2006 when the last census was held rather it was the Ijaw hating Obasanjo so how could we have manipulated our data, be that as it may, there is also no proof of everyone else's actual population so Ijaws knows exactly how our population is distributed.

Recently, Jimi Agbaje has been speaking. He spoke about Ighoho the other day and now about Lagos megacity status. This is his style, he wants 2023 PDP ticket so that he can again cash out.
Discerning minds in PDP should by now have known that this man is Tinubu's mole in Lagos PDP. A candidate that congratulated his opponent when his party was still collating results is not fit for a contest. He has started talking now after 2 years in hibernation, just to remain relevant. Stories have it that he was settled by APC in 2019, in an election that PDP had a good chance of winning, given the friction in APC about Ambode's treatment.
Going into 2023, PDP should distance itself from Jimi Agbaje. If he so wishes to rule Lagos, let him join SDP or APC or any ither party. Lagos PDP should look for a vibrant Lagosian to replace the confused pointer in Alausa.

We need an agile government structure. Even the judiciary is over bloated. Scrap all Courts of appeal and create state supreme courts instead to finalise all state related cases. We like to duplicate functions.
Scrap all election tribunals and special courts. We need only Federal high courts and nagistrate courts.
Any judge not ready to sit and finalise cases after two adjournnent should go and open a chamber and leave the vench.

Let us debate this. Of what relevance is the senate? To me, the senate should be SCRAPPED. At LG level we have only one representation, the councilors. At the state level, we have the State Assembly why are we having two houses at the federal level? Of what relevance is the senate, except to create a haven for ex-governors and ministers to continue to milk the nation.
Please, join this call for the scrapping of the senate. It is not everything we inherited or copied from our colonial past is relevant to today's Nigeria.
Secondly, funding the senate has become a source of financial woe. Why are we spending a whopping N14.5m x 109 per month for irrelevance, yet borrowing to fund the budget? The money we are spending on senators can conveniently complete the coastal rail or even provide better education and health facilities. If we channel all those monies on our decaying infrastructure Nigeria would be a better place to behold.
Support the voice vote to scrap the Senate and let us LOUD IT until it becomes defeaning. Publish it everywhere, join the call to do away with the senate. We can strengthen the NASS and make it more useful and relevant than continuing to carry political baggage like the Senate.
