As for the yorubas that are throwing silly insults here and there on this thread, I'm glad my people didn't even bother responding to it.

It's true you've over 50 million people compare to our 2 million, it's also true yorubas have huge landmass stretching over 3 countries compare to just our 6 local government.

It's true yorubas have 10x more achievement than us due to their population.

The question is what have they achieve with it?? They are still begging fulanis and other nigerians for presidency every 4 years instead of fighting for their own republic.

You yoruba have everything to succeed but would rather accept the name your slaves master gave, as big as your tribe you've nothing to show.

It's even more insulting comparing your big ethnic group with ours, at least our people didn't sell each other for a piece of mirror.
You know it, we will ignore them so they can spread out gospel to the world with their oversized population grin, we need to trend so they are welcome onboard cheesy

Good Nairaland I don't normally do this, bringing my family issue here but this issue is pissing me off.

Here is the story. I got married last year, and I thought I have known her enough that was why I married her. But to my surprise I started discovering that she is too stiff. She is too hard. When she says she is not doing something, that is it, she won't do it.

Sometimes if am broke, and I ask for Small amount of money, most time I want to use that money to get means for bigger money, she won't give.

She gives me time for sex. Presently am down with fever and the only thing she has ever asked me is how is your body. No what will you take or something. Am starting to think of quitting the marriage. The only issue is that she is pregnant and this is my first child.
You better quit that marriage after discussing it with her. Because you still have years to go together if she's doing this now what will she do in the next 10years

Politics › Count Us Out Of Your Maps – Ijaw Youths Issues Warning To Biafra & Oduduwa by valirex(op): 11:22pm On May 18, 2020
Apex youth organization in the Niger Delta, the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), has instructed Biafra and Oduduwa secessionists to go away the Ijaw nation out of what they name ‘their utopian republics’.

Chairman, IYC Transition Implementation Committee, Kennedy Olorogun, stated this on behalf of the organisation on Saturday.

According to him, the Ijaw nation does not want to be annexed to different imagined ethnonational territories.

He stated the Ijaw state is presently confronted with the renewed quest for nationalism inside the Nigerian geopolitical arrangement.

Olorogun mentioned that the state of affairs in the country may additionally have compelled different tribes, companies and ethnic nationalities in the country, such as the Oduduwa and a variety of moves championing the Biafran purpose to renew their agitation for separate states.

He stated whilst the Ijaw nation is now not unfavorable to the motive of these groups, the compelled annexation and fraudulent redrawing of the geographical boundaries of the Ijaw territories into their dream countries would no longer be tolerated.

That's what you think which is in fact not correct. We are not known and have never been known throughout history to force people. If they opt out via a referendum we let them be. southern Cameroon did so. Today nobody remembers they were ever part of eastern region except themselves b'cos of their plight. I don't need to go down the history lane but you must know that while it's easy to say SS minorities did this or that, it's not so in reality. The Ijaw, kalabari, okirika, ibani on one hand and efik, Ibibio, annang and ogoja have mixed with their Igbo neighbours so much for one to believe they will reject Biafra and opt for any other arrangement. moreover they have their people in Ipob. forget the online rejection, the decisive moment will prove.

The way you guys make your calculations on Niger delta republic makes me believe you actually think there will be a time when all Nigerian ethnic groups will be given a chance to choose what they want. I don't think so. It is those who challenge the oppressor that the oppressor calls for negotiations.
The entire of Niger Delta can decide to join you guys in biafra but As for Edo we are more than capable of archiving our independence. We will be fully independent.

For your information when your people have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of SS and SE you will realize when referendum comes and they tell the world they too want their freedom, by then all eyes are on Nigeria and everyone will be listened to them because UN stands for the freedom of everyone, including the minorities. Take Yugoslavia for example

That's not the point. Igbos don't need them. Ever seen an Igbo campaigning for urhobo and itshekiri or Edo to join Biafra? while I don't hate them, I don't want them also.

my point is Ipob already included them and many of them hate the oodua republic idea while having no dream of their own. It follows that the available which is Biafra could become desirable for them.
Ok let me enlighten you, Edo is fully independent and already agitating. And when we feel the time is right we will make it public. Even though most parts of SS do not agitate it not enough reason to force them into your biafra.
I see kanu as wasting his time, have you seen the way SS people insults IPOB? Making it vehemently clear they are not interested in a mini Nigeria

My crux is here is that each Ishekiri communities in Delta state be given the opportunity to vote on if they want to join the Yorubas or prefer to join Bendel republic when the time comes.

There vote should be independent.

Same as Ijaw communities in Ondo be given opportunity to vote if they want to be part of oduduwa republic or Ijaw izon nation.
I like your thinking grin

Attach by force I guess?
Well, I'll not behave like you lots who shout on top of your voice at the mention of Biafra, claiming Igbo's want to force unwilling people into Biafra yet find same method inevitable in conceiving your own country.

The truth remains that as much as i hate the idea, Biafra may end up claiming urhobo and itshekiri. Even Edo risk being taken by Biafra. Most Igbo's including myself vehemently reject the idea of adding them to Biafra. But then, they are aloof. In times like this it's not allowed to just sit and wait for when Biafra news comes up to insult, you have to have your own aspiration. Since Edo secessionist movement is not forthcoming, it'll be foolhardy to reject both Oduduwa and Biafra. Claiming to belong to neither of them can actually mean belonging to either of them without negotiated terms.
We will be waiting for you, and while we are doing that plans we be laid on how we will take Onitcha cheesy

By my calculations 10000 Ogun warriors should be able to take and retain Onitcha grin

Bro I am not from Delta state. I am Yoruba

I am just teasing the Dafruy dude who is trying hard to paint blue as black with the hope that everyone has a color blindness.

And yes Ediod groups in Delta are better off with the rest of Edo as a country.

While ijaw are better off as one country

Awka cross (ibibio, Efik etc are also better off as another country

While igboid groups are better off in one country (including Ikwere, Anioma etc)

It is a stupid argument and you shouldn't indulge her. Number of local governments does not equate to anything. In terms of economic power, the ANIOMAs can't even compete with the Itsekiris talk more of Urhobo.

Go search population figures too, the Urhobos are the largest ethnic nation in Delta State and the 5th largest nationally.

It took the intervention of Urhobo, Itsekiri and Yoruba to save Okowa from eviction out of government house. The so called Aniomas whose only resource are yams could do nothing to save him.

There are things that shouldn't be said in public.

I just hope DSP Ovie Agege will be able to unite urhobos and make them function as a solid unit rather than the 28-30 Kingdoms they like operating as.
