Ok. Well am sure that with all the pointers in your hormonal assay, he might want to consider and treat you as having PCO(S). Fear not it's easily overcome through either Ovulation induction and Post Ovulation support, drugs, supplements and a healthy lifestyle (Low Carb Diet + Exercise)

Fvine, i have few of the symptoms you mentioned here on PCOS, like Hairs on Chin,bloating, carrying weight mostly around my belly area,irregular cycle etc. My dr also suspected PCOS but when he did TVS the same day, he diagnosed only cyst 46mm by 36mm on my left ovary having low level echoes and said it was a functional cyst

The hormonal assay is better done on Day 3. It's only Progesterone that is best done Day 21-24. The knowledge and understanding I have is values for Day 3 so please bear this in mind while reading.

FSH Day 3 : Normal Values = 3-20 mIU/ml
Omega 3 Supplement is good for balancing FSH and LH. "FSH is often used as a gauge of ovarian reserve. In general, under 6 is excellent, 6-9 is good, 9-10 fair, 10-13 diminished reserve, 13+ very hard to stimulate. In PCOS testing, the LH:FSH ratio may be used in the diagnosis. The ratio is usually close to 1:1, but if the LH is higher, it is one possible indication of PCOS". Yours is 15:4 and LH is higher.

Day 3 LH : Normal Values is less than 7 mIU/ml
A normal LH level is similar to FSH. An LH that is higher than FSH is one indication of PCOS.

Your Dr might also want you to do a Pelvic Scan to check for Cysts in his testing to determine if you have PCOS. He may also want to check for common PCOS symptoms like Irregular bleeding, excessive bleeding during periods, Amenorrhea, Hairs on Chin, Chest and excessive hair generally in the wrong places, Shedding of hair on the head, Bloating, Carrying weight mostly on the tummy if you're overweight etc

You have high Prolactin, you know that already. Ovary or Sperm ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is a maximal test that is used for for the determination of antibodies directed against human ovarian tissues in the case of the Ovary or or Sperm Cells in case of the Sperm. I guess he's trying to say that the test is available in his Lab if needed.

Your progesterone which is slightly higher than 5 is indicative of poor Ovulation if not anovulatory. Most Drs want to see a level of at least 10 in an unmedicated cycle and 15 & above in a medicated cycle to confirm a good Ovulation.

It seems to me that you have High Prolactin and could also have either a Polycystic Ovary (PCO) or the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

Seriously, i understand. It does happen to me. I Sometimes, i type and it fails to deliver, so i enjoy reading other posts, lol. Yesterday was just one of those days, and i expected much responses from us.To be frank,I am scared to do a Ptest. Yes , i had elongated cycles like this and i was introduced to M2tone. The last one came on the 48 day ie from Jan 31st to Feb 4. So i menstrated 2 day in January and 4 days in Feb. For Mar, still waiting. @happymummy to add to wat Fvine said hsg also outlines ur utetus n cervix. So if fibroid is distorting d outline, or other defects it shows.
In some pple d dye flushes away minor obstructions in d tubes n dey get bfp afterwards

@Queenbuki relax n reduce obsessing over belle issue. It makes u more tensed up. U can change environment or do something u love doin dat u av not done in a while
maca improves libido for man n woman u may giv it a try

Tatanda17, in addition to Fvine's suggestion you might also want to do a hormonal assay just to confirm the miscarriage did not screw up your hormones.

Anovulatory cycle doesn't necessarily mean your cycle would be irregular. Some people have regular 28 day cycles but experience anovulatory cycles. What you have right now is irregular cycle/amenorrhea.
M2tone, fertilaid and omega369 all have same functions (hormone regulation) so taking them together is an overkill.

Dear Sisters, pls any other ideas on treating anovulatory cycle? I am on day 40 today, no menses, not pregnant. I am currently taking M2tone, FertilAid and Omega 369

Yes i started M2tone and Fertilaid after the test.and i am still late, today is day 34, no menses yet, just having cramps.
Also here's my hormonal assay results:
FSH 0.6 (3.0-4.0)
Lh 0.3 (0.5-10.5)
Prolactin 2.4 (1.2-19.5)
Progesterone 1.4 (2.0-25.0)

I also have poor Ovulation and PCOS and my new Dr recommended the Omega's (3 & 6) which are safe all through the cycle. He also recommended that I maintain my weight if I can't lose more. I'll be getting evaluated again when am set to TTC and by then according to my Dr, he's hoping my hormones will be balanced out and he will only need to induce Ovulation slightly just to get a very good Ovulation and to increase my chances for multiples. Balanced hormones are very important for conception and pregnancy.

Actually,i did the test on the 48 day of my cycle. Gynae asked me to do it since there was no menses.Cycle wasnt stimulated.No, i didnt take Clomid.
What surprised was when the doctor called the lab and said he wasnt comfortable with the result. I wondered if the results was that bad. I went to the internet to browse abt it and that was why i came across a post here and decided to join. He asked me to do a rerun, went back to the lab and the lab lady insisted that its my result and that the result was that low bc it wasnt done on the supposed day its meant to be done

Vanny2 we might need to know the LH and FSH values. Were they too high or too low? Did you do the test on a stimulated cycle? (Did you take clomid the cycle you tested?)

Yes Sugah, i'm using both.So what do i do? A Pharmacist recommended both.after my hormanal assay, these hormones Lh,FSH needed to ovulate and conceive were too too low.

I haven't used M2tone before but it's a herbal supplement based Prenatal. Most herbal supplements take an average of 2-3months to become very effective in the body. But of course we all have different body systems and therefore one can feel the difference in a month. M2tone is purported to be very good and so is the brother Addyzoa for men with sperm issues. A lot of men and women have had good results and ttc success using them. My advise will be to continue using it, you can do a home test if your period becomes late by 1week although some women take longer to show bfp on urine tests. Having my fingers crossed and praying that you get your bfp, Amen.
