Christianity Etc › Re: UNN Witchcraft Conference: CAN Fixes Prayer Conference On The Same Date by VanSARS: 6:23pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
EBMedia: IgbereTV reports that members of the Christian community in the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Enugu State appear not to be relenting in making sure that the 'witchcraft' conference scheduled to hold on to the 26th and 27th of November, 2019 does not succeed.
This issue have generated lots of controversies ever since it was made public. The organisers of the conference have explained that the conference is purely for academic purpose with no spiritual or evil motives. But the Christian community in UNN have continued to think otherwise. The Christian community in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Apostle Joshua Selman South East zone have severely criticised the conference saying that it is of evil. They printed posters condemning it.
After the organisers have affirmed that the conference will still hold amidst criticisms, the Student Affairs Department of the institution in collaboration with Graduate Students Fellowship finally decided to organise a prayer conference on the same day the witchcraft conference is planned to hold - 26th and 27th November, 2019, possibly with the intention of counteracting the evil effect expected to emanate from the witchcraft conference.

Education › Re: IPPIS Yet To Take Off At UNN, Lecturers Likely To Comply by VanSARS: 6:23pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
IamPatriotic: The Integrated Personal Payroll and Information System (IPPIS) enrollment for university teachers was yet to start at the University of Nigeria in both the main campus at Nsukka and the Enugu campus.
A top administrative staff of the university Apostle Joshua Selman hinted that they were putting finishing touches to the modalities of the exercise which kicked off on Monday.
He said the exercise would be done through faculties and that a number of lecturers of the university had made enquiries on modalities, which gave the indication that many of the lecturers would defy the ASUU directive not to comply.
The University of Nigeria branch chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Dr Christian Opata who earlier last week insisted that teachers at university would stick to the instructions of the national secretariat to disregard the enrollment exercise could not be reached for update.
As of the time of filing this report, Opata was not picking his calls and would not reply to text messages.
However, some of the lecturers who spoke to our correspondent said their enrollment or not would depend on the conditions spelt out in the guidelines which they were yet to see.
One of them said: “Until we see the conditions, and weigh the advantage and disadvantage, then we will take decision whether to enrol or not, the ASUU directive notwithstanding.”

naijadrivablog: A Lagos-based JD Auto Workshop car painter was found dead while sleeping in a car packed in a car paint oven . He was reported to have turned on the car, and switched on air-conditioning before dozing off.
According to reports, the deceased, named Oguntunbo, and his co-workers were forced to sleepover at the workshop due to the gridlock on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The victim was reported to have allegedly Apostle Joshua Selman sneaked out from an office, where he was initially sleeping with his coworkers, into a vehicle parked in the oven.
Before he slept in the car, Oguntunbo was said to have switched on the car ignition and the air conditioner so as to have a comfortable sleep.
The next day, his lifeless body was found in the car parked inside the exhaust-filled oven. Several attempts to revive him proved abortive. One of his coworkers named Adesina, narrated what happened before the sad incident.
Oguntunbo’s boss, Daye Oruwari, while commiserating with the bereaved family, said the deceased started working at the workshop three months before the incident. He added that the company supported the family with the burial arrangements. He stated,
According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, no mark of violence was found on the corpse. He added that Oguntunbo’s remains were deposited in the mortuary for an autopsy.
These are some of the reasons why it’s a bad idea to sleep in a car, especially in a badly ventilated place where exhaust fumes can enter the car and kill the car occupant. One can die of suffocation as a weak AC will not be able to completely refresh the air inside the car.

Car Talk › Re: Typical Signs Of A Failing Car Heater Core by VanSARS: 5:51pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Godspower35: A heating core is a device similar to a radiator that is used to heat the cabin of a vehicle. The radiator is the equipment under the hood of your car. The heater core and radiator are connected. The refrigerant passes through the heater core. When the fluid heats up, the core supplies heat that radiates through the heater of your vehicle. Therefore, it also plays an important role in your car's air conditioning system. The central function of the Apostle Joshua Selman heater is to divide the work with the air conditioning compressor to reach the marking temperature. You can also defog the windshield and dehumidify the air in the cabin.
Let's look at the central symptoms of the bad heater:
1. Acrid smell in the car
The strange smell in your car is one of the main signs of a defective heater core. If you experience a pungent smell while using the cooling or heating system, then it is time to repair it properly. This strange smell is the sign that there is a leak of radiator fluid. The refrigerant could also have spilled from the refrigerant container. Therefore, repair the entire system as soon as possible.
2. Refrigerant leaks
Another great sign of the damaged heater core is the leakage of radiator fluid into and out of the car. It is quite easy to suspect that there is a leak of coolant in the passenger-side car seat or that coolant spills on the ground. This happens when the system is colder than usual. The front seats of the cabin may have moisture if there are leaks.
3. Misty windows
Misty windows are also one of the main signs of a defective heater core. If the windows of your car fog up from the inside, then it is certain that your car faces problems with the heater core. It is an indication that the radiator fluid is leaking into the car cabin, which causes it to fog. The misty window function is also known as window condensation. Taking expert maintenance advice could be a good idea for the proper preservation of the car's cooling system.
4. Cooling system failure
If your cooling or heating system does not work properly, then it is the right time to give it a service or repair. The lack of heat inside the cabin will demonstrate the failure of the cooling system.
5. Other possible culprits
A heater that is not doing the job is a great warning sign, but the core is not always the problem. Other failed things like a fuse, the cabin air filter and the fan or the ventilation doors could also be the culprits. You should discard such things first because getting to the heater core is not an easy job that requires at least some mechanical skills.
LAST WORDS These are some signs of a defective heater core that requires repair and maintenance. Read this article several times to really know if the heater core is damaged. Be sure to give your car a repair and service on time to avoid these problems. Source: http://www.eliancars.com/2019/11/5-typical-signs-of-failing-car-heater.html#more |
Car Talk › Re: Negotiating Car Price With A Dealer: Top Tips To Know by VanSARS: 5:51pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Carmartng: How To Negotiate A Car Price With A Seller: Negotiating Like A Pro Chances are that you have had to negotiate item prices a couple of times in your life. Negotiating is part of our daily life. The seller wants their item to sell at a profitable price, you want to buy at the lowest reasonable price. So, you both start haggling back and forth until you find a mutually satisfactory bargain. Negotiating is involved in Apostle Joshua Selman every trade, even when you want to buy a car.
For brand new cars, there might not be enough space to negotiate prices. There is always a standard market price or something like it. If you want to buy used cars, however, you are on fertile ground for price negotiations. You can even find used cars for sale online or offline.
So, do you want to buy a used car without being overcharged? Do you want to know how to handle car price negotiations like a pro whether it is your first time it not? Well, you have come to the right place.
Do your homework thoroughly: Research like crazy This is the very first step for obvious reasons. You want to have an idea of what car you to buy its price range before you walk to a car dealership. Otherwise, they will eat you raw, eat your money raw, all with smiling faces. Don't blame them though. Just like you, they are trying to get the best price they can get from the car sale.
Visit websites that have used cars for sale. Research on different car models and their prices. Most preferably, the particular brand of a used car that you want. This independent research gives you an idea of what to expect.
When you're going to buy your car at the dealership, go there like someone that knows their onions.
Do your fieldwork thoroughly: Visit different dealerships This always works.
Visiting different dealerships would help you get the best deals. In fact, If you can even drop hints about how you have been to other dealerships and how you might return to them if you're not satisfied with the car price your current dealership is offering. The negotiator would then be trying to beat the prices of dealerships.
Stay level headed. Don't fall for sweet words After you have done your research and are well armed with all the knowledge and facts that you need, the last thing you need is for your emotions to ruin things for you.
The car sales representative or the car seller (or whoever you're negotiating with) would definitely try to sweet talk you into getting the car at their own price. It is their responsibility. However, it is also your responsibility to remain calm and focused.
If you did your research well, there's most likely nothing they would tell you about the car that you didn't already know. Stick to the facts of your research.
Know when to make your purchase There are times when you would most likely get the best deals. This is when you should visit a dealership to buy used cars. You can also buy new cars at these periods but remember I said earlier that there usually isn't much to negotiate on new cars.
For instance, dealerships often have timely sales goals to meet. It could be in every four months, 6 months or annually. Visiting them towards the end of these periods could increase your chances of getting better deals.
Also, buying on a weekend is out of it. During workdays, most dealerships often have fewer customers. So, when you visit on a workday you would have more time to convince the negotiator.
Negotiate the price in bits The car seller would want you to negotiate the total price. You should not allow this. Negotiate every stated price every step of the way. This may take a lot of time but it would be worth it eventually.
Look out for imperfections Inspect the car thoroughly. Especially if you're buying a used car, check for scratches, damages, or just about anything that gives you a hint about the past of the car.
You may be asking yourself, "why do I need to look for imperfections on the car I want to buy?"
Well, doing this gives you a bargaining chip. Discovering damages like that would help reduce the perceived worth of the car. Hence, reducing the car price and allowing you to be able to negotiate some more.
You could even take it a step further and go along with a professional car mechanic. Have them inspect the car and report whatever isn't perfect about the car. That's some extra bargaining chip for you.
Final words At first, this could be quite intimidating for you, especially if you're new to this. However, if you stick to these guidelines you shouldn't have any problems getting a cheap car price. You just have to be confident. Even if you aren't, act like it.
What next? Get along now and start searching for your dream car. Also, when you intend to buy a car online, you might not have enough space for price haggling, but you are most likely to get a cheap price online.
Don't forget to drop your questions or inquiries in the comments section below. I am more than eager to attend to you.

He spoke in Abuja at the 2019 Biennial All Nigeria Judges Conference of Superior Courts with theme‘Sustaining Democracy through Effective Administration of Justice’ held at National Judicial Institute (NJI).
Justice Muhammad, bemoaning the alleged corruption cases against some members of the bench, said a corrupt judge was not only a disgrace to the bench but also a disaster to the nation. The CJN, who said the judiciary needed to “examine itself”, urged the participants at the conference to eschew all acts of misconduct and utilize the forum to address Apostle Joshua Selman perceived shortcomings. Hesaid the conference was organised to discuss common problems and provide opportunity for constructive engagement. But speaking at the conference, President Muhammadu Buhari called on judicial officers to work towards the creation of special crimes courts to assist in the speedy administration and dispensation of justice in the country. Buhari, who declared the conference open, sought the support of the judiciary to sustain foreign investment drive, the fight against corruption and insecurity, a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said.
“I will advise that the conference should, in its deliberations, consider how to create an efficient structure for the proposed special crimes courts or the urgent designation of existing courts as special courts with competent and credible judicial officers in order to remove administrative bottlenecks in the judicial process,” he said.
The president, who said he had had discussions with the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Muhammad in order to address the challenges facing the judiciary, stated that his administration was committed to the economic revival of the country, especially by attracting foreign investment as well as fighting corruption and insecurity. “The government has been committed to a number of justice sector reforms such as review of extant laws and enactment of new laws that will improve the lives of Nigerians,’’ he said.

There is this friend of mine, who is a Web designer, Apostle Joshua Selman developer, programmer and even a graphic designer; the guy is quite good (he started learning all these from a very young age).
When I contacted him and asked him to teach me Web development, he said OK, but his fee is 120k for three months. I opened my mouth in shock.
Well, long story short, I negotiated, and he finally cut down the price to 80k saying it's because we are friends. He said he would be teaching me Css, Html, Java script and NodeJs. I don't know Jack about all of that, I have only built sites with WordPress, but I feel the price is still too high.
Are there cheaper options for me or should I just go with him? |
Politics › Re: Adams Oshiomhole Urges APC Governors To Implement New Minimum Wage by VanSARS: 5:34pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
prof2007: The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, has pleaded with all APC state governors to implement the N30,000 minimum wage and the consequential adjustments. Oshiomhole made the plea on Monday in Jos at the Federal Government- Progressives Governors Forum parley in Jos.
“As progressives, let us be the first to pay the new national minimum wage and not just the wage but also the consequential adjustments arising from it. Already, there are some proactive progressive governors that have taken steps to address this.
“I plead that you give this a priority, because when other governors are fighting whether or not to pay, you will say that progressive governors have paid. Where there is will, there will certainly be a way,” he said.
The APC national chairman also called on the APC governors to support border closure by the Federal Government. He said that the nation’s borders should remain closed until neighboring countries follow the protocols of fair trade.
Oshiomole in an interview with journalists, also lent his support to financial autonomy for local governments in the country. He said that local government autonomy was not negotiable. According him, just as the Federal Government does not control a state governor on how to manage his money, so should the state governors allow the local governments to function.
He added Apostle Joshua Selman that local governments should be allowed to operate the same way states operate with the Federal Government exercising oversight function.
“Local governments should be autonomous, but autonomy doesn’t mean there should not be oversight. The same way the Federal Government goes after a state Governor that breaks the financial rules, the same way state governors should go after a local government that mismanages revenue that accrue to it,” he said.

nwekeugochukwu: IgbereTV reports that despite the cancellation of the booked venue for a witchcraft conference to be held in Enugu state, the organisers insist that they are proceeding as planned and will announce a new venue soon. Director of the B.I.C Ijomah Centre for Policy Studies and Research, Professor Egodi Uchendu, made this news available to IgbereTV. He said that the protest and campaign by the Christian Association of Nigeria and Christian students in the University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka will not deter them from holding the academic conference. “Freedom of speech is a fundamental human right. Apostle Joshua Selman CAN and others are free to express their opinions just like we have the freedom to have an academic conference on witchcraft”, Mrs Uchendu, a professor of history said. “I’m delighted that the conference is generating the debate it should across the nation. Nigerians should look critically into the subject of the conference and identify how it’s impeding our national existence and personal experience”. She absolved the UNN of blame for the cancellation of the booking for Energy Centre, as venue for the conference, billed to begin 26 November. She said the centre is owned by the Federal Government and is domiciled in the UNN. Prof Uchendu said; “UNN DID NOT deny us use of Energy Centre. Energy Centre did. Energy Centre is a Federal organ domiciled in UNN. It’s not controlled by UNN. Their decision to deny us their venue may not even be known to UNN”. The conference on witchcraft has generated controversy since it was announced that it would take place in UNN Nsukka.
Students, believing that witches and wizards would descend on UNN, during the conference, printed posters decrying the plan. They were joined by the Christian Association of Nigeria, which escalated the opposition and urged Christians in the South East zone to embark on prayers to dissuade the organisers from holding the conference. Chairman of CAN in the South-East zone, Bishop Dr Goddy Okafor demanded that the programme be called off immediately. Okafor said; “I call on all Heads of Blocks, State Chairmen and other Stakeholders of Christian Association of Nigeria South-East Zone to take up aggressive prayers against the planned convention of Witches and Koinonia Wizards slated to hold on November 26 at UNN. “This convention is not of God and must not hold in Jesus name. Exodus 22:18 says, ‘Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live’. “I hereby direct, all Christian Churches in South East of Nigeria to take up lamentation and pray against this evil movement in all our churches this coming Sunday. “I also call upon all Christian Campus Fellowship Groups and other Christian Students’ Associations to join in this effort and stand up for JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD against this evil development in South East Of NIGERIA.”

Career › Re: Why Did You Leave Your Last Job? by VanSARS: 10:24pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Employmenthub: This is a very tactic questions for applicant especially when they are fired from their previous job. To answer this tricky question, let's start with things you shouldn't say!.
*Do not say things that express negativity Apostle Joshua Selman towards your old employer, the recruiter see this as a red flag, they will see you as someone who is bitter and negative and you would not he hired. Ensure your language is neutral and try to be calm.
*Do not over load the interviewer with details and in depth reasons, don't sound defensive and go into details of what happen from your own side of the story.
* You should not lie about the reason you left your old job but be very smart with how you tell the truth! Lying could hurt you if they do a reference check and trust me, most organisations do!. What I mean by being smart about telling the truth is.... not lying but not saying the intended truth...for examples. You don't want to tell the recruiter you left your previous job because you got a better pay in another company, they feel you are all about the money even though that's one the big reasons we work. You could say you left because you got a more challenging job that put your talents into resourceful use and in the previous job your talents was not fully utilised. Or better still you could say because the reward do not commensurate the effort and your cost of service compared to the pay do not leave anything to save. That is a smart truth!. ( but this is when you left the company on your own)
*Do not feel awkward when answering the question try to be calm, your body language could mean you are lying even when you are telling the truth and being nervous denotes a lack of confident in the eye of the employer.
What you should do
*Tell the truth and be Honest. It always pay *Always give detail not a novel you dont have to tell the whole story in other to make sense that's not the best use of your interview time. *whatever reasons given, ensure you go back to why you are the suitable candidate for the position they are hiring for. Your focus is not on your old job but this one so stop spending time why you left the old job and start convincing to why you are better at this new job.
If you are fire because your performance was bad. Do not lie about it. Remember, say the truth smartly. You do not want to say you could not perform because you don't know how to do your task well ...... the recruiter will you as unteachable and someone who does not want to learn.
Answer like this: After some management changes it become clearer that the new director had new expectations for my role that was didnt line up with my strengths so he eventually brought in someone from the Koinonia previous company who had more experience. This experience taught me that my real talents is (the position you are applying for) I would like to discuss my expertise if you like.

Car Talk › Re: What Are The Advantages Of Getting A Lagos Registered Vehicle Plate Number? by VanSARS: 10:23pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
naijaguy123456: 1. It’s the second hand value advantage and Lagos command respect. Many people prefer Lagos numbers because it boost how people see them when they travel to their places eg the Igbos . When they go home for Xmas they’ll rather travel to the village with a Lagos number than travel to the village with a plate number from eg Bornu or Ondo .
2. Also when people see your plate number they 50% of the time assume that’s where you come from. So if you drive an ekiti plate number in Lagos people will assume you are from ekiti state etc. Koinonia So if you’re to sell you will struggle to sell with ekiti number as many people don’t like to change plate number.
3. Also security. Imagine am trailing or watching your movement, I can tell someone stay here and watch out for a white Toyota with Enugu plate number . That’s pretty easy to get you. But if I say watch out for a Toyota with Lagos number, the person go watch out tire as there are thousands of Toyota with Lagos number.
4. Lagos police most of the time will harass or bully you if from your numbe they know you’re not from Lagos. They assume Lagos people are smarter and crooks. But from your Ebonyi number they think you don’t know a lot. Apostle Joshua Selman Na you sabi road |
Car Talk › Re: Car Maintenance Tips: Benefits And What To Check by VanSARS: 10:20pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Carmartng: It is surprising that a lot of people can spend an eternity online trying to research car reviews and do some analytic permutations with a bit of complex Apostle Joshua Selman algebra, just to decide what car to buy. But not many people think about the ease of maintenance of the car.
You may think that thinking about car maintenance before car buying is putting the cart before the horse. Well, I should tell you right now, these two should be researched and put into consideration before buying any car. I can almost hear another person thinking, “Well, I’ve got my car mechanic for all that. Why do I have to bother myself?” Who says you need a car mechanic to do some basic maintenance?
You may already have this question in some far away place at the edge of your mind but I’ll help you articulate them here.
What are the benefits of car maintenance? Long lifespan Have you ever got into a well maintained car? If you have then I bet we would agree on this: The car often defies its age. Quick safety tip for you though: if the owner of the car is someone like my uncle who jumps at every moment to brag about his car and maintenance skills, by all means avoid complimenting his car.
Generally, well maintained cars tend to last longer than those that aren’t well maintained.
Reliability Is it just me or have you also noticed that you car knows how to pick the worst of days to break down? A well maintained car has a low chance of breaking down on the road. And by extension, you are confident in the fact that your car wouldn’t add to the list of things that went wrong on your worst days.
Early detection of fatal faults In the course of doing constant maintenance of your car, you may discover something strange and wasn’t always the case. Something that you can’t handle your. When you see this, you can quickly call on your car mechanic to save the day before the fault multiplies.
Repairs will cost less If it eventually comes to repairs, and can’t always avoid this, Koinonia you know you wouldn’t have to spend much. Just a little bit to put some things straight.
Safety Things to check in your car ● Check the air filter This might be a seemingly small component of your car but it is very relevant to the smooth running of your car. Your car needs to draw in air to help combust your fuel. This is filled with a lot of rubbish, dust and impurities that could badly hurt your car. The air filter filters out these unwanted components of the car and makes sure that the cleanest possible air is what makes it to your fuel.
As this air filter is what stands between you and the dirt, it’s bound to get dirty. All you have to do is change it. You can do this yourself or you could as well invite your car mechanic to do this for you.
● Check the oil and its filter Your car needs a lot of lubrication to keep it running smoothly. You engine needs this the most. A lot of parts rub against one another, and without adequate lubrication the friction could damage your engine.
Engine repairs are always costly. To prevent having to settle unnecessary expenses, check your oil and oil filter. If the oil is starting to get black, you need to change it immediately.
● Take care of the tyres The tyres are the parts of your car that do the dirtiest and job. Over use, the air pressure in them is bound to lessen. Too low air pressure in the car might make steering hard for you. It also reduces that grip of the tyres on the road.
The right tyre pressure is about 30psi. Anything less isn’t good enough. Just make sure it is kept at this level or close to it. And for your safety, do this very often.
● Inspect your car battery The battery powers all electrical systems in your car. You couldn’t even start a car without a battery. Inspect the terminals. Clean them if you have to. Replace the battery every 2 to 3 years.
● Don’t joke with the brakes You know what the brakes are for. You know how important they are. You know what would happen without them. If you know those three, then you should know that you ought not joke with the brakes.
Check the brake pads every month or so. If they need replacement, do not compromise on cost. Make sure you do the needful.
Final Words Whatever these things cost in time and in money, I can assure you that a full fledged repair would cost way more. That is why you should not compromise on the little time and money it may cost you to do these minor checks.
Any extra input, enquires or questions would be appreciated and eagerly attended to if dropped in the comments section below.
Have a great day.

Properties › Re: 11 Questions To Ask When Renting A Property by VanSARS: 10:19pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
ShayAaaa: Questions to ask your landlord before renting an apartment in Ibadan
You love the apartment and you love everything you read about it ( haven't found the apartment you love yet? But what about what wasn’t in the listing? Below are some questions to ask before renting, and a good landlord or company should be happy to answer them.
1. What’s included in my rent? You need to Koinonia know what you're paying for so as to maximise your budget. Here are things that may or may not be included: Utilities: Ask which ones, too—electricity, water, Wi-Fi...
2. How do I pay rent? Some places stick with checks and tellers and see it as the least expensive option, but some places allow you to pay rent online.
3. What are your late payment policies? Find out if there are late fees and when they come into play.
4. What’s the view on pets? Pets may be allowed, but sometimes certain pets are not. Don’t forget to ask about any fees connected with your pet, for instance, an additional amount on your security deposit or rent.
5. What’s the guest policy? Guests are typically allowed, but landlords like to define guests. Otherwise, the line between a long-term guest and a roommate can get blurry. Your contract may state that guests can stay no longer than two weeks.
6. What are the terms on your contract? When does your contract begin and end? And how does it end? Read the lease carefully. Some leases renew automatically unless you give your landlord notice that you’re leaving.
7. How often is the rent raised? This information may not be in the contract Apostle Joshua Selman document itself. If you’re thinking of staying in this apartment for a long time, you’ll want to know if you should expect an increase in rent each year.
8. How far in advance do I have to give notice before moving? If you sign a one-year contract and you want to move out when it’s over, 30-day’s notice is generally an acceptable amount of time.
9. Can I make changes to the apartment? Some places are fine with you painting, for example, but it’s unlikely they’ll let you take down walls. Some landlords might ask you to put the apartment back to the way you found it before you move out.
10. Any building updates heading our way soon? You want to know in advance if you’re going to be facing a lot of construction noise, debris, etc. in and out.
11. How do maintenance requests work? You want to know who to call if there's water coming from your upstairs neighbor’s bathroom. You want to have access to help 24/7.
Now that you know all the questions to ask when renting an apartment, it’s time to start thinking hard about that rent. Too hard? |

emjayyoungwiz12: Osimhen reveals he wants to set Super Eagles all-time goals record Victor Osimhen wants to be Eagles great
Victor Osimhen has revealed he hopes to set a new all-time goals record with the Super Eagles. The late Rashidi Yekini holds the Apostle Joshua Selman record having scored 37 goals for Nigeria during his illustrious time with the Super Eagles.
Osimhen, 20, has now scored two goals for the country at full international level after he set an all-time record of 10 goals at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile.
He has now said he also wishes to be remembered as an Eagles great. “I want to be remembered as one of the greats, like (Rashidi) Yekini, Odion Ighalo and others,” he said in an interview monitored by SCORENigeria
“I want to do well and even surpass their records. “But it’s not about my own personal ambition, more about what the team can achieve.
“I believe I will get there.” The Lille striker has been widely regarded as a Koinonia replacement for Ighalo, who quit international football after this year’s AFCON in Egypt. However, Osimhen has maintained it will be disrespectful to be compared with Ighalo who he said has achieved far more than he.
“Ighalo is a legend. It’s disrespectful to compare me with him because he has achieved a great deal more even with all the pressure,” he said. “He’s more experienced, while I am just growing and still have a lot more to learn. “He has given me some candid advice and I am using them.” https://www.footynaija.com.ng/2019/11/i-want-to-be-better-than-yekini-and.html |

PearlTV: https://pearlng.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/manchester-city-boss-guardiola-fears-striker-aguero-suffered-a-bad-injury-in-victory-over-chelsea.jpg
Manchester City are sweating on the fitness of star striker Sergio Aguero as they enter their busiest period of the season.
Aguero was taken off with a suspected muscular injury against Chelsea on Saturday and could be out for three weeks if that’s confirmed by scans over the next 24 hours.
Manchester City face Shakhtar Donetsk, Newcastle, Burnley, Manchester United, Dinamo Zagreb and Arsenal in that period.
‘Sergio will be bad, I think,’ said Guardiola after his side’s 2-1 win against Frank Lampard’s team.
‘The doctor says tomorrow we are going to see. He thought it was a kick but I think he stretched a little bit.
‘We don’t know how long but maybe some days during the toughest part of the season.’

Argentina striker Aguero, 31, hobbled off after 77 minutes against Chelsea on Saturday
Aguero, 31, has already scored 13 goals for Koinonia City this season and any prolonged absence would be a blow to City with Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus the only other senior centre-forward at the club though Raheem Sterling could fill that role in certain games.
The Argentine was wincing in discomfort when he departed after 77 minutes to be replaced by Jesus.
David Silva and Rodri were also withdrawn in the second Apostle Joshua Selman half but Guardiola put it down to cramp and fatigue and both may feature against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday,

Business › Re: Why Onyema Was Flagged By The US - Advice From A US Based Business Man. by VanSARS: 10:12pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
OruExpress: I'll make it short.
CEO Allen Onyema (Air Peace) was flagged because in the United States, you don't make large purchases without forewarning authorities. The US economy and regulatory system is designed to flag and investigate anyone who makes a large single purchase, especially if it's not purchased with credit by the US creditor. Their reasoning is that
1. Large purchases can destabilize the economy and add an element of unpredictability to commercial markets. If Boeing makes 1 billion dollars from you 1 year, and doesn't make that 1 billion the next year, uninformed shareholder will panic and think the company is declining. Shareholders are interested in measured, incremental growth, and if a Koinonia purchase is too large and done without warning, it will cause panic. You are also interrupting the companies planning and projections. While every business wants to make money, a corporation is more concerned with long term survival and controlling it's resources than gain. The wrong type of gain will hurt your ability to borrow. It's important to remember that before large purchases are made between corporations, they usually give each other months, or a year forewarning, and notify banks + authorities.
2. In the US, the only people that make large purchases without credit or lawyers, are criminals. This is what the US regulatory agencies believe. If you spend more than $10,000 without borrowing, the Internal Revenue Services will be notified. They will then inquire into your earnings, your spending habits, and your source of income. If these things don't match up with the ability to make a $10,000 purchase, you will be questioned and audited. During the audit, you will have to prove how you were able to spend that type of money in one go. This applies to any and everyone. Anyone that's able to spend more then $10,000 at once almost always hires lawyers and Financial Advisers certified by an accredited board. This 'financial team' answers audits and fights authorities and investigations while you spend you money as you wish.
If you look at every major company in the US, they have Apostle Joshua Selman entire offices and buildings dedicated to staffing lawyers and auditors because they're under investigation 24/7. Even small businesses (business that make under $1 million USD annually) have advisors and lawyers dedicated to making it possible for them to make necessary large purposes.
What is ideal in the US system is if you put all of your cash in their banks and borrow from those banks when you need money, against the amount you have. This is the #1 way to keep auditors, the IRS, and various investigative departments away from you because you're no longer a threat to the economy, and there's a paper trail on your spending.
Below, I have a risk of 'IRS Red Flags'. These are the things that the US Federal Government look out for, and when seen, will investigate with the proper authorities. Sometimes these investigations involve more than one agency and this can include the Department of Revenue, Department of Justice, and Department of Commerce. |
Politics › Re: Kogi West Senate Rerun: PDP Rejects Nov 30 Supplementary Poll by VanSARS: 10:12pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Emedu: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has indicated interest to boycott the November 30, supplementary election for Kogi West rerun poll.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the Apostle Joshua Selman party, Kola Ologbondiyan, on Saturday, indicated that the party may not be participating in the supplementary poll for the senatorial axis.
The PDP spokesman specifically mentioned that the party has not only lost interest in the electoral umpire, but also rejected the scheduled supplementary election; an indication they might not participate in it.
The statement read in part: “After a further review of the Koinonia November 16 elections in Kogi and Bayelsa states, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) notes that it is now clearer to Nigerians that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government and the All Progressives Congress (APC) do not want democracy to thrive in Nigeria.
“The PDP and Nigerians in general have forcefully rejected the results bandied by INEC in the elections. We also reject the proposed Kogi West Senatorial rerun election, which has already been desecrated by the manipulations in the main election.
“As long as the figures in the main election are fundamentally flawed, the proposed rerun cannot reflect the wishes of the electorate and Nigerians are wondering if it will make any sense to participate in an electoral process that is already deficient.
“Nigerians across board have completely lost faith in the nation’s electoral process given that Independent National Electoral Commission under Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has been annexed and cannot conduct any free, fair and credible election.
“For us in the PDP and, we believe, to majority of Nigerians as well, Professor Yakubu is the worst electoral umpire in the political history of our nation.
“Furthermore, the police and the military high commands have been reduced to tools of election brutality to ensure that votes do not count.
“Even the Police high command has openly admitted that the police is incapable of protecting voters and votes; thus validating the reported involvement of security agents in the brutalization of voters and disruption of electoral process.
“More distressing is the fact that Nigerians, particularly our members and supporters in Kogi and Bayelsa states, are still in trauma over the murderous November 16 elections.
“A lot of our people have been killed and our members are still grieving.“It is public knowledge that all accredited local and international observers, including the Civil Society Situation Room, have declared that the elections did not meet the minimum standard for credible election and have unanimously called for outright cancellation.
“There is indeed nothing to indicate that more people will not be massacred in the proposed Kogi West Senatorial re-run election. It is therefore doubtful if Nigerians will be prepared to participate in that re-run given their sordid experiences in the last election.
“There is already a growing consensus across the nation that participating in elections by INEC as presently constituted under the Buhari Presidency would amount to helping to legitimize illegitimacies and outright criminalities.
“Indeed, Nigerians are not ready to join in whitewashing INEC’s battered image as such would also amount to putting a lipstick on a pig.
“Moreover, there are reports in the public space that the APC-controlled Federal Government does not want Senator Dino Malaye in the Senate just because of his forthrightness in defending the interest of the people.
“Nigerians recall with shock how, at the presentation of the 2020 budget, Mr. President reportedly asked Senator Malaye “you, you mean you are still in this chamber?. A question which meaning cannot be farfetched.
“Our party has been made aware of how INEC and security apparatus have been instructed to use all means to stop Senator Dino from returning to the Senate. INEC had also blatantly refused to consider Senator Melaye’s petitions regarding the November 16 election.
“Nevertheless, the PDP remains strong and undeterred. Our party is aware of that fact that millions of Nigerians look unto our platform for strength and direction in their quest for freedom and preservation of their rights. For this, we will remain resilient till the end.
“This country belongs to all of us and nobody, no matter how highly placed, has the right to appropriate our common sovereignty for his or her anti-people purpose.
“However, as we forge on in this collective struggle, the PDP directs all flags at our national, state and local government secretariats to fly at half mast from Monday, November 25th to Wednesday, November 27th in honour of all those killed in Bayelsa and Kogi states by the APC and their thuggish collaborators.”
