my understanding of exporting banana to ivory coast is strictly business. there is favourable condition for Ghanaian farmers willing to export their banana to Europe using ivory coast. just like how some some ivory coast prefer to export their cocoa to Ghana for high exporting profit .

it has the largest export market not the largest size in terms of production and yes there is current sizeable export of bananas to ivory coast now. Nigeria has more yam than Ghana but Ghana export more yam than Nigeria, study the difference .

i am only giving you an economy sense of the reality, nobody actually owns land anywhere except the government ( the people) however if by possession, no single individual in a country can owns land more than the government( Kenya happens to be an exception). Usa government owns about 30 percent of America land , Ghana gov't owns about 20 percent of Ghana land that is more than what the highest private individual own . Kenyatta and moi owns largest chunk of Kenya land .

They were highly nomadic, making it easy for any colonial power to onw them and own all their lands

They were actually first colonized indirectly by the Arabs before the British..... most of their city state lands are mostly for the Persia traders.
