Our police image is in tatters for sure. Our military is miles ahead of many in Africa. Ghana ragtag army that overthrew your civilian force is known mostly fro cowardice. Our army is known for their discipline, incorruptible nature and their professionalism.

KDF is a mean well-paid force - and for their numbers - just well over 25k - they are amongst most the trained, educated and disciplined forces in the world.

For example in KDF - all officers must have a bachelor's degree in military science - and if you're not promoted in 8yrs to another rank - you go home.

Find a KDF office misbehaving - like you have in Nigeria. Not gonna happen in Kenya. You are sent home straight.

There is no GENERAL BUHARI whose primary certificate was eaten by a goat heck from being a commissioned officer - you need a degree in military science - in addition to any other degrees.

I don't mind if Chinese can come and own everything in Kenya - as long as it's legal, they pay taxes and all that. I don't mind indian or whites investors owning everything - in fact I encourage them to come and invest. What I oppose are Chinese criminals gangs minning including deep in forest, with their own armed militia, smuggling the gold back to china and LEAVING your poor country least 5B dollars poorer ANNUALLY. I also don't like South Africa Boers sitting on stolen africa land. But I don't mind any white investor coming to africa to invest. I also don't like illegal ghanians or nigerians flocking South Africa...even if they are BLACK..they have to go to South Africa LEGALLY.

The latest release of military spending. Nigeria (the 200M giant) spends 1.9B against Kenya (50M) spending 1.2B. South Afirca spends 3.5B. Algeria are spending nearly 11B dollars. Angola spends 1.4B.

Ghana - spend 0.1B - with Tanzania spending 0.6B - despite having larger territory to protect.

Going back to the poverty capita - Just imagine having 200K plus active personnel on a budget of 1.9B - compared to Kenya lean, disciplined and professional force of 25K on 1.2B dollars. No wonder a kenya private out of college earn more than their army major.

I bet Nigeria army is paid in sacks of yams and ground nuts.

So what is costing more between electrifying a village( which just needs poles and transformers),comparing with constructing and electrifying a railway? ( tunnels,tracks,bridges,slabs,electric poles,transformers,etc are included in a process!)

It costs more money to build thousandsof kilometers of electrified SGR than just to erect thousands of electric poles into villages! Electrifying villages is so simple anybody can do it,any poor nation can achieve that

Thing is, it makes more sense to control the rate of breeding among the poor, for their own good, an for their offspring. Because poor people create more poor people. I know... I sound like a nazi but thats just the plain truth! Even in Ghana you'll notice that the poorer people are more likely to have more children than the wealthier ones. Also, it makes it harder for govts to lift people out of poverty if they keep multiplying at a fast pace. If the Chinese had not controlled their population they would still be poor s fvck. The chinese werent coerced to control their population by the US or anybody else for that matter. They just figured out. That said, there has also been sinister intentions to decimate African and Asian populations. So its not one way thing, its all about weighing the options and knowing thyself. Trust nobody on either side.
