We are many. Has your application been approved? Mine isn’t approved yet but I have my ppr mail. I heard vfs opens next with but appointments will need to be booked. I think the first stage is to have our application approved then expect passports

Good morning everyone. I checked my WES profile now and found that my ECA had been completed and sent to all recipients including IRCC,, Saskatchewan, and Nigeria Agege post office (yet to collect) since 7th, Apr. My concerns now are:

1. I have not written IELTS (initially planned for February, 2020)
2. I haven't applied for any of the program (EE, PNP) on IRCC website

Please what do I do now since IELTS exams have been cancelled till further notice due to COVID-19
* Should I apply and submit my application like that? What would be the implications. Kindly advice

Thanks

Decision to Relocate
To be honest, I have never been the traveling type; as I have always liked the simple things of life. I liked my job (I mean, Lawyer and not earning too badly), lots of friends I hung out with time after time, all the cheap beer, the looking out for the other person, Ileya, The December Holidays waka, and so on. Still, I wanted to do my Masters in the UK. Got many admissions but one thing or the other happened and I ended up not going (My worst decision ever). I faced my job and shelved the plan.

Things were looking good until some events happened which then shook my faith in this place;

Sometime in 2015, I was robbed in traffic, my car vandalized and I almost got stabbed. Over what? A Blackberry phone. To make things worse, Bubu won and things became tighter. Money started losing value, I was becoming tired of my job and all these got me wondering if staying in this country was all worth it. Then in 2018, I was robbed on my way to work, and the ‘boys’ were going to stab me ontop iPhone 6 (Had to beg for my life with no dignity) . There and then, I knew it was time. To make it worse, one of my bestfriends who is in the US called me sometime in December telling me all about the Express Entry program, and the need to leave the ‘shithole’. December 30, 2018 was the day. By January 2, 2019 my mind was made up and I made my move without looking back.

ECA
JANUARY: So, on January 2, I woke up feeling up for it. Did a little Twitter search and saw that WES was the ECA of choice- no wahala, i immediately paid the $285 or so. Wifey wasn’t so optimistic… Next day, I was chatting up a friend who is a Lawyer in the Ontario Province and he told me I’ll be better off with IQAS due to that ‘Professional Degree thing’. Sharply, I paid another $285 ish on January 3, 2019…bed.s going to jinx shit), read widely about how to go about arranging your application, check this page religiously, make your application as SIMPLE as possible.
[/b]
Also, THINK POSITIVE!!!

See y’all in Canada. If you are coming to Edmonton or are in Edmonton already, holla at your boy!..

The clause on my RPRF request was "admissibility review is currently in process", did you have same? I received the request on Monday night last week and paid same day. Additional documents status currently reads "we are reviewing the additional documents you provided", it changed from "the additional documents you provided have been uploaded" on Thursday. I'm not sure what to expect. When did the status on yours change to "Not applicable" please?

Today makes it three weeks I paid, I am hopeful that something will happen this week. Keep ur fingers crossed

Married. Family of 4.

Don’t worry, it will change to not applicable and your PPR will drop afterwards.

Mine took exactly 2 weeks to change status and I have seen people wait 3 to 4 weeks for it to happen. Some took just a day.

Your PPR is almost here

Did your letter state admissibility under review?

Got RPRF request on January 16, paid same day, got PPR on January 24.

What did they write in your letter? ‘Admissibility under review’?

Yes, what does it mean
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by venorite(m): 12:35am On Feb 02, 2020
Got request same day as you, mine is still on review since then
otunoba1:
RPRF was requested on January 13, though I had paid and raised CSE for same since November and got acknowledgement that receipt has been added to my application but I no fit argue so I just attached again on the placeholder that came with the request.

Stayed on ‘we are reviewing’ for 2 weeks before it changed to not applicable on Tuesday, followed by a GU immediately.

Eagle landed last night and we are so grateful to God.

I guess it should. However, I was at the bank and spoke with their customer care representative before paying. I was told that only their Visa cards are optimised for forex payments online. I was able to pay with no hitches using my Visa card and I got AOR immediately.
So please confirm if yours is Visa as I had to wait for weeks to get the card from their Head office. Seems the ordinary "wait and get" ATM cards are not optimised for forex transactions online. That's the information I got from Sterling bank. Hope this helps.

Good morning beautiful people, thank you to everyone contributing to this thread, God bless you all. Finally submitted my application, now my "wait" begins. For anyone hoping to submit, Sterling bank rates stay winning. Paid all fees upfront and was charged #300,603.95 at 1 CAD = #267.20. The rates are very fair in my opinion. All the best to everyone on this journey. It will all end in praise.

thank you for this information. seems i will use them. hope their normal debit card can work.

Brothers and sisters,I have finally been liberated from the clutches of IELTS ooooo.I know that it is neither ITA nor PPR,but I just have to share this story to encourage others in this IELTS quagmire.
NOV1 2018 BC- L7.5 R9 S7.5 W6.5
DEC15 2018 BC- L6.5 R9 S7 W7
JAN19 2019 BC- L8 R9 S7.5 W6.5(EOR Unchanged 15k waka)
MAY 11 2019 MOD- L8.5 R9 S7 W6.5(EOR Unchanged 46,214k waka)
JULY 27 2019 BC- L8.5 R9 S8 W 6.5(Requested for a remark)
AUG 17 2019 BC- L8 R8 S6.5 W7(this result made me to start believing that village people actually exists)

After failing IELTS 2 consecutive times,I decided not to write again.I was tired..but when the job I was searching for in Amsterdam went south,I knew I had to go back to re-writing IELTS.I came to this platform to seek for help in listening(my weak point)..and the wonderful people here gave me tips on how to pass it.
I want to thank @NanaF for introducing me to Cambridge series and convincing me that band 9 was very feasible in listening.God bless you abundantly ma'am.I also want to thank @CheesyTee,@adeptonlin,@ifeoma77 and @temas for their tips on how to ace listening.God bless you all.i am indeed grateful.
I finished cambridge series 1-13 and started passing listening with a minimum of band 8 but I started failing writing.I failed twice consecutively that I had to switch to MOD(which i still failed). At this point, I knew I needed help in writing.I had to contact Johnnybravo..I told him that I wanted to unlearn and re-learn writing. That guy is very good and thorough..he can scrutinize..we booked 2weeks session..everyday I would write an essay and he would review it..I started seeing why I was stuck on 6.5..He would review it word for word and give me appropriate synonyms to replace the ones I had written.on one occasion,he told me to use the word 'rationale' to replace 'reasons'.. I said ok..and he says spell it for me..I didnt want to tell him that I had a doctorate degree in engineering analysis and that spelling error is not the reason why I am stuck on 6.5(lol)..he probably thought I would spell it as 'rational'.I am indeed grateful to johnnybravo(we actually attended uniben together{my hall 3 guy}) ..God bless you and I pray your PPR arrives very very soon.
I booked 27 july and still got 6.5 in writing despite Johnnybravo's review...I say na lie..I nor gree..results were released on 9th august..I ordered a remark and booked another test for august 17th,results were released on 30th and I got 7 in writing but (6.5 in speaking)..How on earth can i score 6.5 in speaking? As I was lamenting on my speaking scores,I got a mail that the remark for July 27 was out.I was in Ikoyi today to collect the test report and behold my writing had increased to a 7.0..I almost sublimed..so i stand with:
L8.5 R9 S8 W7.
Finally, I want to thank @yemblaze who advised me to seek help for my writing.she is a wonderful person.she would send me mails asking about my IELTS result and the outcome of my EOR'S.God bless you ma'am.
I am also happy for @venorite..I read your story and it was very inspiring.
