For me, the person in charge informed me that he has approved it. However, I think it depends on the officer in charge. If you don’t get a negative feedback after submitting the documents they requested; it is assumed that they will approve it.

Visa on passport April 2023

Arrival in Germany April 2023 as an Unaccompanied minor.

Little background. Single mother family reunion visa.

Moved to Germany as a student and switched to working visa in 2022. As a single mother it's really really difficult as they expect you to bring the tooth of a sleeping white tiger.

I think ABH process are slightly different in each state. My husband works and lives in a small town and all the foreigners, especially Nigerians can be finger counted.
Why not contact them to know what's going on with your documents and your spouse's visa process.

My husband called ABH and they said the finished with our case since 5th of January,that the approval was sent. But embassy said that verification process takes about 6months, does that mean I should expect to hear from them by May🤯
I did my interview in October,I'm just confused. Does anyone have a number for the verification office please.

Applied march 30th 2021
Appointment mail April 1 2022
Interview April 28th 2022
I was not asked to pay for verification but a month later a mail entered requesting we pay for verification that was may 2022
Lawyer called june15th .
Lawyer's verification june 25th
July ..... No response or update
August no response
September no response
October no response
November ….I received verification completed mail BUT they requested for a new A1 even though I submitted one when I went for interview And declaration of age
Did another A1exam in December but I failed so I had to write another one in January 28th 2023 and I passed
The result came out February and we submitted the result to the embassy February 10 2023
February 15th 2023:my husband was asked to send prove of sustainability of his family in Germany (statement of account)
February 22th 2023 we received a mail to send passport and travel date
February 27th 2023 sent passport to the embassy
March 6 passport was returned with visa
March 16th 2023 : Arrived Germany

Approval has not expired. Her approval was given 1st of march, in my presence. The guy from ABH approved instantly when i submitted my docs, and few hours later, she was asked to submit passport in Nigeria.
Tracking shows that the package was successfully delivered, and return envelope tracking is not active yet, meaning the have not sent it

We have sent mails, no response. And when you call, the lady that answers call for the embassy is the rudest person in the whole world.
I am also sure her return address is correct.

I’m aware it’s for family reunion. Also, it’s most likely the same thing for adults. For the current amount for blocked act; you can see it on the embassy website_ https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/-/2568986 (Proof of funding_blocked account with a minimum disposal sum of 934€/month).

Hello!! I will advise you take the current amount for blocked act for student visa and divide it by 12 to get the amount monthly.

Hi everyone,
Just to update the house.
Sometime in October last year, I was one of the people that posted that my wife along with 5 other women were denied entry into the embassy for their FRV interview.
Here is the update.
The appointment was rescheduled for another date in October.
Some missing documents where requested on two occasions.
The last was submitted December 14.
I returned from the UK 28th December to find a letter from the Auslanderbehörde requesting that I submit my house contract, 3 months payslip, and a form that is to be filled and signed by my employer.
I was on holiday so waited till 04.01.2023 to submit the requested documents.
I asked the lady that attended to me at the ABH why it was taking so long. She said Pakistan is worse. She also said she will send the approval to the Lagos Consulate same day (Thursday). Friday 06.01.2023 was public holiday Germany.
Approval mail from Lagos was received the next Tuesday (requesting travel itinerary passport and travel insurance).

Visa received today 18.01.2023

We thank the Lord.

November..... my spouse contacted ABH in his city on the 24th of November and they asked him to forward his document on the 25th of November .

Spouse submitted his document on 1st of December.

On the 13th of December 2022 I received a mail from the embassy requesting for my travel insurance and passport and travel date.

Submitted the requested document on the 16th December
Documents received and visa stamped 22nd of December ��

Arrived Germany 31 st December ��. All glory be to God����

Good afternoon everyone, I want to post my mom's family reunion interview transcript because reading from the experiences of others helped us prepare for ours.

Booked appointment: 21/10/2021
Appointment mail: 15/11/2022
Appointment date: 15/12/2022

We got there around 5am, immediately we were accosted by these canvassers saying we'd need to get a pass before queuing at the German embassy and they'll need to check her documents and everything. We already knew this was all a bid to make money but we were confident that our documents were complete so we let them perform the drama they wanted to.

After they realized there was no money to be made, they waved us away without the so called pass. Please remember to bring everything on the checklist and make your photocopies complete unless you want to be a money horse for those canvassers.

At the embassy we were told by the security to hang around till it was 6:30am since her appointment was by 7am. But by 6am, another security arrived and told everyone around to arrange themselves on a line and those without appointment to leave to the park. It was at this point I had to leave my mom and sister to their fate. I warned them about Oga Paulinus and was like whatever he says or shouts, remember to stay calm.

I waited till 12pm at the car park and witnessed a lot of people being taken advantage of because they were not fully prepared. When they finally came out, she told me about their experience. My sister wasn't asked any questions. Oga Paulinus of course flexed muscle a bit when she wasn't fast enough arranging the documents as he asked but she said he wasn't as bad as she expected.

The questions she was asked was similar to the questions on page 130 and she was asked about me since I wasn't a part of the interview. She was asked to bring a new affidavit of spinsterhood and a better proof of residence of her spouse and that was it. Now we await the lawyer for verification.

I think old school ID card can serve same purpose. E.g Secondary School ID card if older than 5years.

I understand there was a mix up somewhere. On the attendance list their names were on skilled workers instead of family reunion. It was also said that they do not attend to family reunion visa appointments on Fridays.
