I forgot to mention the hilarious performance of Colin Farrell. I didn't notice it was him till the end.

Point 1 and point 2 don't follow from each other. They're not mutually exclusive but not very pat. Plus, I'd have thought one's mother can pass along any gene as well as the father. Point 3 is a very good point and the true thing that makes Naruto special and indeed Konoha.

Sasuke plays a vital role as Naruto's rival but I lost interest in him when all those Akatsuki boys showed up. It's only only natural he gains the Rinnegan. I have a feeling Kishimoto wants him and Naruto to be at their most powerful before they confront each other for the final show down. Maybe even he wants to start another saga (Naruto Old Age) after Shippuden. The guy is getting caught up in his own labyrinthine maze of characters and their motives.

Apparently you don't upgrade to a Rinnegan without being able to use it well enough, I'd have said an EMS user more adept at using his eye can defeat a rookie Rinnegan user like Nagato once was. But his case was different anyway.

Any idea what's the next step for Naruto? He's becoming a lil obscure. Swirly Pumpkin is stealing the show.

And throwing it out there, who do y'all think will die next?

This war will be epic on anime. Really trying to avoid reading the manga right now. I read them too fast and don't savour the experience like the anime. Consensus though is Kishimoto is mad. Em, is he on twitter?
