By far the best thread on this section. Just want to say y'all should keep the theories coming. And the spoilers to a minimum. Naruto anime sweet pass manga but can you curb your exuberance? I'm trying to. Really surprised at the Madara 'face/off'

Seen so many films since my last post. But then many many eons have passed since my last post. Lemme see if I can recall a few.

- Friends with Benefits: JT is decent. I wonder how Mila Kunis hid from these sorta roles before limelight came a knocking. The film was fun till halfway. Then it bored me to death. And there was a part I thought they'd just bed each other for 15mins straight.

- The Green Lantern: Holy Zeus! I wonder the gnashing of teeth that happened at Comic Con upon knowing of this film. The Green lantern is a freaking hallowed geek hero! There's nothing good about this film except that almost any sequel will be better. No blame upon Ryan Reynolds though. You can't help being inundated with a worthless script

PAUL: YES! That British red head (male) called Pegg is something else! Awesome from beginning to end. So great that it's easy to ignore all the not-so-great parts. A little thickly laced with what may be called propaganda but I'm not complaining. Awesome.

I can't remember the rest now. I have Tree of Life and The Help up next. I hear great things.

I had the opportunity of watching Transformers 3 but the memory of the second installment still makes me wonder how I liked it the first time. I love Shia but not that much.

Lol. I like to say my heart has a half life. One day it'll decay into non-existence. But as regards to love, I'm optimistic without having my head in the clouds. So, if I get heartbroken, I don't do anything. One person is not humanity. I get heartbroken by not only 'chics' but close friends. Sometimes, if you love someone, the best gift you can give them is to bugger off.

I'm not a Christian and I don't know Bible passages by heart but I think some things are common sense and some I can vouch that Christianity should stand for.

For instance, the question begs the questions: what if the crook is a member of another church; do the rules change then? What if the crook is not Christian at all; do you send him to the garrote? And why should such a person hiding under the guise of being Christian do such a thing; should he be considered Christian then? I mean, by their fruits, you shall know them etc.

All the above said, I think it is totally up to the wronged person to decide what to do. To treat it in a secular way or a 'Christian' way should be left to the concerned party's discretion and no grief should come off it. My two cents.

I voted only Mrs. C. The other two may have tithed if the 'church' can be counted on to channel the funds into worthy causes and not for perms.

I'm sorry I couldn't read what musta been 6 odd pages of argument over what tithes are and their legitimacy.

@topic. God allows evil cuz His existence may be redundant without it. Plus it would be hella boring without evil. Almost all the fun stuff is evil. Plus He gets first call on what is evil anyway. Just some thoughts

I used to watch Discovery channel when I actually had a lot to discover and a largely impressionable mind. I learnt a lot from the channel. NatGeo is more recent. I have an attachment with Discovery but objectively, it's really hard to choose

20 minutes of Season of the Witch. Jesus! Thank God Ron Perlman is not obvious as Hellboy. And Nic, well, is Nic.

Duplicity. I finally saw this and I was pleasantly surprised. Pretty good. I hate Clive Owen but the story was undeniable, the ending, top stuff.

3 Idiots. Wow! All eez well with the film. Great music too. Aamir Khan could double for Tom Hanks.

I dunno whether it's cuz I expected the worse going into this film or the weed I smoked in the morning but I found the movie quite funny and I'd have given Sandra Bullock an Oscar for her performance here rather than theone she won for. Bradley Cooper was meh.

Maybe uncanny is a bit too much. What I was referring to is the logic ridden apathy of Dr. Manhattan compared with the grand sociopathic psyche of the alternate Batman.

Lol. Maybe y'all should just read the script. It was my most anticipated trailer the year it came out. The only flaw is the costume. But then not really, if you know what I mean.

Has anyone seen Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths? Are the similarities with Watchmen not uncanny?
