Shuaibu Amodu qualified Naija for the World cup in 2010 and had a mandate to at least win bronze in the Nations cup at Angola 2010. What happened ? He was demoted to manage the Super Eagles 'B' Team cos we didn't win the tournament and Lars Lagerback was employed to take us to the world cup.

Its a Global Village.I am a "middle man" web designer. I don't code but I get jobs. A chick in naija once charged me 50k to do the graphics design for a website job. At the end of the day an indian dude from a company I found online did the same job for 100 us dollars. Quality to me and the client was outstanding. Nowadays I use indians for most jobs I get cos they are more affordable for the quality that is required by clients.

Most nigerian developers I've met for another project have said an android application will cost between 500k-1 million naira. 3 indian companies quoted between 1000 and 2000 us dollars depending on the scope and requirements.

There is a seperate list for SA Universities so has not to interfere with the list, SA unis are no doubt the best in africa and in top could have about 7 or 8 unis check this, www.4icu.org/topAfrica/ if not for SA unis, UNILAG would be 7th

And for the 1000th time, 4icu ranks universities based on web ranking. The population of unilag and its IT penetration has more to do with the ranking rather than academic excellence,integrity or reputation. When it comes to those 3 parameters, I'm sure UNILAG won't be in the top 20 in africa;and that's without including the south african universities.

Can't speak for the entire UNILAG but I can speak for their so called business school and their MBA program and can say its 100 percent below standard.

Don't know about the other departments though.

That's why I prefer rankings of universities on a subject by subject basis rather than overall rankings.
