Benue is a goal for APC already with Rev. Fr Alia on the ballot. With this development APC should clear Kogi, Kwara, Benue, Niger and Nasarawa state in north central. Plateau is the only state in NC that May go to PDP at the presidential election.
You are very funny. So you think APC will win Benue with Muslim Muslim ticket?? You people don't understand the religious sensitiveness of Benue state. I can assure you that if apc tries Muslim Muslim ticket, they will struggle seriously in NC as a whole. Only Niger and Kwara they may win. But you see Governorship 2023, it's for Alia
That guy will floor PDP in that election.

When I told you Alia is going to rule Benue come 2023, you thought I was joking. This time around, PDP will be disgraced out of that office. Catholics constitute majority, and they are determined through Alia to get to the government house coupled with non performance of Samuel Otorm.

INEC monitors, which is a requirement and it's synonymous to Zamfara & Anambra.

This was obviously leaked on purpose, so Akwa Ibom APC will have to go to Court then enforce INEC to take it, which they will and not appeal. Then, it will start going up from there. Ita Enang is also in Court to challenge the APC Candidate.

PoliticsAbiodun Oyebanji Vs Olabisi Kolawole: Who Wins Ekiti Governorship Election? by vicdom(op): 8:38am On Jun 10, 2022
Abiodun Oyebanji as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Olabisi Kolawole as his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart.

This will be my third time of staking a bet on the Nigerian politics as regards the elections.
Atiku won my ticket, Tinubu equally won my ticket, amounting to a profit of about 200k, with 200k staked on both tickets.

Now, it looks like APC is going to win in Ekiti, but on the betting site, I discovered that the odds slammed on Olabisi Kolawole (PDP candidate) is quite small (1.5odds) against Abiodun Oyebanji (APC candidate 1.9odds) which is very unusual like the small odds placed on both Atiku and Tinubu as they were the leading contenders in the just concluded Primary elections.

Question: Why is PDP odds very less compared with APC owing to the fact that APC is the incumbent party in the state??

Please I need a sincere analysis on who is going to win devoids partisanship or sentiments..

I believe it's the North west though. Kano, Katsina etal. But the north west and the North East follow the same pattern to an extent.
Which Kano?? NNPP will overrun both APC and PDP there. Maybe Kastina, APC might win there. I wonder why people are not putting Kwankwaso into this calculation. I was on BBC housa page this afternoon, everywhere there is kwankwaso. That guy na serious threat for the both leading parties in the north ooo. Hmmm

They have decided , I doubt if they will change their positions, this is politics, this decision about lawan would have been taken with some of these governors doing this same meeting . That is politics ,they will only use this situation to get some concessions or goodies from buhari and that is the end. The apc chairman knew all these will happen and I am sure he is prepared for it , buhari will first deny any involvement but later as things calm down he will say he stands by the party decision .
You may not be far from the truth ooo. Because Adamu couldn't have taken that very important decision/position unilaterally cheesy

If they do the Primaries, he will win in a landslide but Buhari don't want him anywhere near there.

Adamu will never have uttered those words if it didn't come from Buhari.
Then they could have laid hands on something tangible and disqualified him during the screening exercise. There were so many
serious petitions brought against him during the exercise. They are just afraid of the man.

APC should conduct this primary and stop ridiculing themselves. Buhari and APC are simply afraid of Tinubu. And they can't man up and declare their position because they are also afraid to do that. Tinubu might disgrace these people tomorrow, stilll go ahead and clinch the ticket.

Then, Southern aspirants will have no option than to support the outcome. It happened in PDP, it will still happen tomorrow. Just watch out.

PoliticsAPC Presidential Primary: Buhari, Northern Governors In Closed-Door Meeting by vicdom(op): 3:34pm On Jun 06, 2022
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the north at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting is coming a day before the commencement of the party’s convention to elect its presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections.

Although President Buhari has maintained his position on the consensus arrangement, there has not been any agreement among the 23 presidential aspirants.

The meeting with the APC governors from the north is the fourth parley in his effort to ensure that the party presents a consensus candidate so as to reduce acrimony that may arise at the end of the convention.

The governors in attendance are Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum and governor of Kebbi state, Atiku Bagudu, chairman of Northern governors Forum and governor of Plateau State, Simeon Lalong, Abubakar Baduru (Jigawa) and Babagana Zulum (Borno).

Others are Aminu Bello Masari (Katsina), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Bello Matawale (Zamfara), Mallam Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Yahaya Inuwa (Gombe), Abubakar Bello (Niger), and the Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni.

As at the time of sending this report, only the governor of Kogi, Yahaya Bello was yet to arrive.
