You know nothing, Atiku has already secured more than 383 votes, and that's what you need to win. The number of accredited voters is just 767. So you need just about 384 votes and you are the winner. You know nothing about politics, go sit down.

E no go tey, I will soon call you out. What will happen to Tinubu is exactly what will happen to Wike. All those people you see around him do not actually like him, they are simply romancing him in order to get his dollars. They know that with Wike as a president, he will bully everyone, coupled with the fact that he's not sellable to the masses. They know that if PDP fields him, APC will just simply throw a celebration party because there won't be any form of contest any longer. It will be a walkover for the APC. Those delegates will just collect his money and vote someone else. At the end, Wike might even come a distant 3rd sef, if care is not taken .

PoliticsFatuhu Muhammadu, 7 Others Lose APC Rep Return ticket In Katsina by vicdom(op): 1:44pm On May 28, 2022
Eight incumbent House of Representatives members from Katsina State, including Fatuhu Muhammadu, a nephew to President Muhammadu Buhari, representing Daura/Mai’Adua/Sandamu Federal Constituency failed in their bids to become the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2023 election.

Fatuhu Muhammad, is one of the son of President Buhari’s elder sister. He was defeated by Aminu Jamo who polled 117 votes while Fatuhu got only 30 votes. according to the result announced by Bala Zango, the constituency returning officer.

Similarly, Murtala Isa, currently representing Faskari/Sabuwa/Dandume constituency was defeated by the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Dalhatu Tafoki.

The Katsina Deputy Speaker got 96 votes as against Isa’s five to clinch the ticket.

In Katsina central constituency, the immediate former commissioner of sports and social development, Sani Danlami also defeated the incumbent law maker representing the constituency, Salisu Isansi.

Recall that Mr Danlami represented the constituency in 2015 but lost the position to Mr Isansi in 2019.

Danlami secured 51 votes to beat Mr Isansi who got only 7 votes.

It’s the same story for Batagarawa/Rimi/Charanci federal constituency where Usman Banye polled 77 votes to beat the incumbent, Hamza Dalhatu who secured 56 votes.

The story is not different in Mani/Bindawa constituency where the incumbent, Ashiru Mani was defeated by Ahmed Yusuf who got 56 votes against 54 to stop Mr Mani from returning to the House of Representatives.

Similarly, the incumbent lawmaker representing Safana/Danmusa/Batsari constituency,

Ahmed Dayyabu lost the bid to clinch a return ticket after he was defeated by the immediate erstwhile Commissioner for Special Duties, Abdulkadir Zakka.

So also did Aminu Balele, a former Special Adviser on Sports Development and Chairman of Katsina United snatched the return ticket for Kurfi/Dustin Ma constituency from the incumbent, after polling 97 votes to beat the incumbent, Armayau Kado who secured only 8 votes.

PoliticsRe: PDP Presidential Primary: Each Delegate Gets Over $50,000 Bribe -Sahara Reports by vicdom(op): 1:43pm On May 28, 2022
Nigerialabalaba:
no mind sowore. Dat na about N20 billion if dem share $50K for 811 delegates.
Even though I no gbadun pdp but on dis $50K
bribe na fake news
The report says all the money shared by all the aspirants to the delegates amounted to over $50k per head. If five aspirants decide to share $10k each, that's $50k altogether nah. So the report might not be out of place.
PoliticsPDP Presidential Primary: Each Delegate Gets Over $50,000 Bribe -Sahara Reports by vicdom(op): 1:25pm On May 28, 2022
EXCLUSIVE: Each Delegate Of Opposition Party, PDP Gets Over $50,000 Bribe As Atiku, Wike, Others Compete In Corruption-ridden Presidential Primary

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, among other presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party are now in a battle of dollars splash on delegates, voting at today’s crucial presidential primary in Abuja.
SaharaReporters learnt that each delegate at the special convention had been given over $50,000 bribe to sway their votes in favour of particular aspirants.

No fewer than 811 delegates are expected to decide the fate of the PDP presidential aspirants in the ongoing convention.
The 811 delegates of the party consist of one national delegate elected from each of the 774 local government areas and one special delegate per state and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from among persons living with disabilities.
Top sources informed SaharaReporters on Saturday that Atiku, Wike, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, were competing in the splash of thousands of dollars on the delegates and it was only a matter of highest bidder.
“Each of the PDP delegates has got $50,000 for now; Wike, 15,000 dollars; Atiku, 20,000 dollars; Saraki, 10,000 dollars and Tambuwal, 10,000 dollars,” one of the sources said.
For months, the aspirants had been traversing the country and offering bribes to delegates across states in attempt to woo delegates to vote for them.
The “money politics” in the PDP had not gone down with some of the aspirants who feared they could not match the lavish spending of the leading aspirants and quit the contest and the party.
Only on Saturday morning, one of the presidential aspirants of the PDP, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, withdrew from the race.
The former Managing Director of FSB International Bank, announced his withdrawal from the race in a letter addressed to Dr Iyorchia Ayu, National Chairman of the PDP, following the path of former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, who abandoned the race and also dumped the party for Labour Party days ago.
But unlike Obi, Hayatu-Deen promised to remain in the opposition party.
“During my recent nationwide trips, I came face to face with angry and hungry youths, children, boys and girls abandoned by their states who ought to provide them with education and vocational training. These had become the recruiting grounds of criminals, religious and political extremists.
“I planned to ensure that the great potential that had become the hallmark of Nigeria’s development paradigm, should be actualized during our presidency. We planned to make Nigeria the continental economic powerhouse which would guarantee high quality of life to the vast majority of our citizens.
“I planned to provide peace by ending insurgency of all types occasioned by the absence of a robust and coherent plan and lack of engagements with those involved and by improving the capacity of our intelligence services, the armed forces, the police and paramilitary services.

“My exposure locally and internationally and contributions to the nation’s economic and political-well being positioned me to take up the challenges facing our dear nation and – the courage to participate in this grueling exercise which most of our elites have shunned away from. Regrettably the political system has proved to be acrimonious, corrupt and self-serving.
“For the past three months I had the privilege of intensively interacting with Nigerians from all walks of life. This reinforces my resolve that Nigeria MUST BE saved, otherwise our future is doomed.
“I joined the contest as a democrat, with an open mind to keenly contest and accept the result of a process that is fair, credible and transparent.
“We have endeavoured to forge a consensus which would have facilitated a seamless emergence of a candidate which unfortunately could not be achieved.
“I wish to reiterate that I did not join party politics and to contest for the presidency because of personal gains and inordinate ambition, but in order to serve our country.
“It is therefore based on personal principles and with great humility that I have decided after wide consultations to withdraw from this contest which has been obscenely monetised.
“I wish to thank all my supporters, especially those from my state, well-wishers, friends, family, the extraordinary hardworking young men and women of our campaign organisation, the party leadership and members for their tremendous support which enabled us to contribute within this short period towards changing the character and direction of the Nigerian political landscape.
“Finally, as a very loyal party member and believer in the democratic process, I will continue to avail myself and my teeming supporters at all times to ensure victory of our great party,” Hayatu-Deen had said.

Governor Hope Uzodimma has reacted to the Supreme Court ruling between Mr Daniel Nwafor and Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo.

Governor Uzodimma in his response to journalists in Owerri disclosed that all the Supreme Court did was to dismiss an appeal that has long expired against an FCT High Court judgement that recognized Mr Dan Nwafor against Marcellinus Nlemigbo.

According to the Governor, there was no consequential order by the Supreme Court leaving McDonald Ebere PhD as still the Chairman of the APC in Imo State hence the status bar nature of the ruling.

The Governor sitting the Supreme Court judgment in Sheriff VS Markarfi disclosed that the National Convention is the highest decision making body of the party and the convention, having ratified the new Exco, it becomes Law.

A peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has withdrawn from the race for the party’s ticket just hours to the commencement of party’s primary election.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Iyiochia Ayu, which he signed, the economist and former banker said he withdrew from the race on grounds of morality noting that the entire contest has been “obscenely monitized.”

He said, “I joined the contest as a democrat, with an open mind to keenly contest and accept the result of a process that is fair, credible and transparent. We have endeavoured to forge a consensus which would have facilitated a seamless emergence of a candidate which unfortunately could not be achieved”.

Rev Father fathers keep doing well in Beneu politics. What is the secret?
Just like in the east, Catholics constitute to the clear majority of their population and they behave like cult groups. My friend, a rev from gboko dioceses was telling me a few days ago that the suspension of Alia by the bishop was just to save face. My elder brother was given APGA ticket for house of assembly for free, he didn't even spend a dime nor even campaigned, simply because he passed through seminary school and he's friend to majority of Rev fathers in Anambra.
