The guy jason is a goat,he claims to be an itshekiri,yet dosnt know anything about ijaw-itshekiri clash in warri,he dosnt know that there were many ethnic groups in biafra but is a professor of igbo,biafra and ojukwu issues,a yoruba who parades himself as an itshekiri,what a man.

@udennaa.There is nothing to lose in this deal,if GEJ wins,then we get all we want from him,if he loses then we would have gained unity of purpose within igboland,for the first time in our history after the war we are speaking with our voice.This unity of purpose will help us in our future endeavours in nigeria ,and also even if GEJ loses, we would have been able to put to an end the balkanization game nigeria have been playing in the east,by proving to our minority brothers that we are one with them and by so doing, establish a south east-south south aliance which will be beneficial to ndi igbo in the long run,this is what other nigerians are afraid of and thats why they keep helping the ignorant ones among us to fault ohanaeze. How can the north be serious about handing the no 1 spot to ndi igbo come 2015,in 2007 they had the chance to do that but no they ditched us to pick an ijaw man(GEJ) for vp,knowing that in 2015 he will be the heir to the throne and probably to pitch the ijaw against the igbo come 2015,a balkanization game they have perfected against the east since 1970 ,but all their plans backfired because GEJ is now the president,and yet greed or ignorance has blinded some igbo people so that they cannot see how deceitful the north have been.Thanks to ohanaeze, majority of ndi igbo can now see,and those who cannot have been shown the way.

Who is ndukwe ikoh?Probably a nobody,i havnt heard that name before.His grudge against ohanaeze is likely to be ohanaeze position on the issue of eze ndi igbo outside igboland,a decision ohanaeze took after wide consultations with all the ezes,obis and igwes in igboland.You guys make this endorsement look like uwaechue agenda when we all know that he did wide consultation with various igbo group before endorsing GEJ,any body who cares to know the truth should forget these men and go to the streets of enugu,owerri,aba,umuahia,abakaliki,awka and onitsha and see that GEJ is the peoples choice.

The north should know that this balkanization game they started since 1970 will not work in 2011,who come the north wants to have an igbo vp but will only take igbo from south east,are they saying there are no ndi igbo outside the south east, or that ndi igbo in south south are less igbo than their kin and kiths in south east ,each time there is something to gain politically ndi igbo in south east will become the priority at the detriment of ndi igbo outside the south east,each time we do this we indirectly balkanize igboland by giving ndi igbo people outside the south east reasons to believe we are more igbo than them,little wonder they are now trying very hard to create their own ethnic nationalities,why should they be second class igbos? Ohanaeze under uwaechue leadership have been able to unite all the igbo groups in south south,we must not allow this northern greek gift to destroy this.That is why, we must trust ohaneze, igwe bu ike, nobody knows what is best for ndi igbo than ohanaeze.

@ceeplus.Seconded!!!,at least by the time they finish 700 universities, jamb disappointment will be a thing of the past,universities wil be begging students to be admitted and my community wil have the priviledge of hosting one of those unis,gosh!! How i need that university

I dont think ndi igbo needs aba state and adada state(nsukka state),why should what belong to every tribe in igboland be given to one tribe,out of the 17 lgas in abia ngwa and their brother ukwa has 9(isialangwa north and south,aba north and south,obingwa,ugwunagbo,osisioma,ukwa east and west), which is more than half of the lgas in abia state,the question is why should ngwa who are the majority in abia state be looking for another state,does it mean they cant compete with other groups in abia despite their population? Ngwa should learn to unite and be the head they should be in abia state rather than perenial deputy they have reduced themselves to due to their disunity and they should stop this their aba state whatever.

@abadaba.Good to know that,now i think Anioma and Orashi states are the two states that ndi igbo needs most,they should be created and given to south east,every other state agitation from igboland should only come after these two.

@udennaa.Before 1970,every ethnic group in the east identified with the igbos,but after the war came balkanization,we couldnt even identify with ourselves,hence folks like ikwerre,obigbo,ndoni,etche started denying their igbo identity,even ndi igbo in delta state whose son nzeogwu played a key role in the so called igbo coup were not left out in the identity crises,before the war, folks like the ijaw,ibibio,efik,ogoni,kalabari identified with ndi igbo,they saw us not as enemies but as big brother and a central rallying point,THAT WAS WHERE WE WERE, those were the days when ndi igbo and igbo union was a force to reckon with in nigeria.After the war we couldnt even unite all the igbo tribes and hence our present position.But ohanaeze under the leadership of uwaechue have been able to unite igbo tribes,giving us a voice,they are giving us what we have always lacked since we lost the war and by endorsing GEJ has now buried the eyo ita saga and have put to an end the balkanization of the eastern region by nigeria.After 2011 no one will ever accuse ndi igbo of dominating our eastern minority brothers. As for the whole members of imeobi not supporting ohanaeze's endorsment,all of the them must not support,what matters is dat majority of them supported,the last time i checked democracy is about majority.Moreover ohanaeze made wide consultations with various igbo groups before the endorsement,in other words they are only saying what most igbo people wants,go to the streets of enugu,umuahia,awka,abakaliki,onitsha,aba,owerre and u will find out that most igbo men in the streets of these cities wants GEJ.Finally ohanaeze is not forcing any one to vote GEJ,ekwueme and ojukwu and others can vote whoever they want,gone are the days when ndi igbo speak with different voices,thanks to ohaneze,the governors and the people are singing the same song.

Asari dokubo is 40% igbo, i knew that uwaechue will take ndi igbo to where we once were.Truely no one knows what is best for ndi igbo than OHANEZE.

I have always wondered why nigeria wil not allow for an igbo president,i have always thought it was because of the fear of seccesion but after reading bialegends post,i have come to know that it is because of fear of having a level playground,because an igbo man at the helm wil ensure that, and when the play ground is level,igbos tend to dominate,ask eucharia uche.

It is annoying when people fault ohanaeze for endorsing GEJ,ohanaeze took that decision after wide consultation with various igbo groups,no igboman unless one with personal interest wil fault ohanaeze on this decision.Go to the streets of onitsha,awka,enugu,abakaliki,umuahia,owerri and other southeastern cities and towns and u wil know that almost every igboman wants GEJ.Ndi igbo has realised that the 2015 igbo presidency promise by the north is not real and even if it is,it is no substitute for eastern unity which GEJ represents.Like i have always said,no one, igbo and non igbo can claim to know what is better for ndi igbo than OHANAEZE.
