The gathering of the vultures, when will these people get tired of painting igbo stars black,i challenge any of these tribalist in nairaland to present any other non igbo woman in this era that can rival this igbo icon, all these plots to tarnish this woman's image is futile, dora continues to march from glory to glory. |
@Onye okwu Dont mind them, buhari picks one of them as vp and buhari becomes a messiah, can you beat that? Not long ago ribadu was a messiah because ACN picked him. Validated:Gosh!! The stench is too much *gasping* lawd i need A FRESH AIR. |
All these things you mentioned can be obtained when you have a good government in place, but no good government can make crude oil, believe me south africa wouldnt mind having crude oil revenue,it helps you know. playmode: |
You dont understand, why will the igbo always dominate the commercial activites of any place they go in Nigeria, does it mean that the locals would rather patronize a stranger than a brother? Does it mean no commercial activity was going on there before the igbo came? These are questions only an igbo can answer, the answers to these questions and more is want stands us out and makes us more succesful than other nigerians and they are not taught in the business school(it can only sharpen it),they are in built.
^--- In a world where demand is independent of price, your theories might be true. No wonder the igbo seem to excel in business than most nigerians, there are some business skills an igbo seems to have without going to business school. Now one of them is that,no mater the cost price all you need to profit is increase the selling price, every trader in alaba, aba or onitsha knows this, increasing the tax will only end up improvishing the consumers,as the blunt will be passed to them, meanwhile with low tax rate in the east, goods will be cheaper in the east, causing western consumers to troop to the east, there by turning our annex(lagos) to ibadan.
OK, I trust your judgement over that of the various other sources discussed here in this thread. You are no doubt correct; there is no oil in the west. No problem. Just continue to pay heavy, heavy taxes that will continue to increase over time. The more trade and traffic there, the better.
|
Normal? As in using the same bowl for poo, eating and drinking water, okay i get you. Eko Ile: |
There is nothing special about lagos, not that we are planing on leaving it for anybody.Lagos just happens to enjoy monopoly,we all know why calabar and ph ports are not working, and we know who is responsible for all the commercial activities that attract banks and companies to that city,we dont intend to desert the city,we only intend to use it as an annex to our buisness empire, using its port less and using the eastern ports more, you know turning it into another ibadan.
^-- Which city in Nigeria will compare to Eko Atlantic, when that is finished? ![]() Will have to compare to Manhattan ![]() I'll be working hard over the next few years to earn enough money to buy property there
|
For a yoruba guy,you didnt disappoint me,dumb as usual. Now get it into your thick skull if you can, apart from the few oil wells found in ilaje and apoi regions and a few more obj managed to steal from delta state, yorubaland is as dry as the north, awolowo knows this,he knows that without the east the future is bleak for the west,a condition he shares with the north, hence his reluctance to seccede. Come on,awo was tracherous and deceitful but he was also wise,he was a pragmatic ruler,if there is oil in the old west, awo would have secceded.
Reading comprehension isn't your strong point, I guess.
|
Gosh! Where is this guy from? Just when i thought that my only problem is how to convince the north of some phantom oil fields in chad basin, now i have to look for another phantom oil story to sell to the west, chai breaking nigeria no be small thing.
Actually, looks like I'm wrong about the bitumen: http://www.mmsd.gov.ng/Downloads/Tarsand%20&%20Bitumen.pdf Actually seems comparable to Canada's tar sands: http://i55.tinypic.com/2hibipe.png Though this might be excessive optimism by the Nigerian govt. According to Wikipedia, Canada pays $28 per barrel to extract. $4 bucks for North African oil: http://goldnews.bullionvault.com/oil_gold_100_barrel_inflation_110920072 So a lot less profitable. Still, a good resource to have. Very damaging on the environment though.
|
You mistake intention, you are not familiar with business and trading activities in nigeria,no one out compete's ndiigbo in that aspect,an aboki nation will likely use ph and calabar port than lagos port,we have no plans to relinguish lagos market, only that we will be using more of eastern ports and less of lagos port.
1) This is a case of the tail thinking it is wagging the dog. Leave and others will take your place. No big deal, really. 2) Hausa man will need to eat too. And export, if he one day starts producing stuff. Same for the middle belt. And I have every intention for us to be an exporting, manufacturing nation. . . to the point where we are required to build an additional port in Ondo to rival that of Lagos. 3) Furthermore, I'd suggest that you study the shoreline of Nigeria a bit, investigate how much it will cost to dredge the Niger river enough to compete economically with a deep seaport like Lagos. If it were me, I'd choose to build around a seaport, rather than two cities by inland rivers.
|
Common sense,Nigeria experiment has been tried for 50years and yet its not yielding positive result, isn't it obvious that we are not and have never been one,we were joined without each others consent, isn't that a recipe for failure, how can two work accept they agree, how about dividing the country, let each group sort out its problems and may be one day we can form a union based on consent. Alj Uche: |
Lagos port will not yield much revenue to a yoruba nation,it is important today because of nigeria's policy to economically strangulate the east after the civil war, easterners control the buisness and trading activities of Nigeria, with the fall of nigeria the east will resucitate calabar and port harcour ports, leaving lagos port lifeless. |
Okay now that the west has bought that story, all we need is sell a better one to the north, especially that lake chad oil story, then we can divide this country. |
Gosh! Oil in Abia, imo, anambra, and who knows Enugu? With coal deposit and first class human resources.Has any tribe been better blessed? Oh! Nigeria what are u waiting for? Die by fire. |
Hmm,seems like everybody wants fresh, imagine they are planing to hijack him, then why shout BB,looks like only the igbo is enjoying the fresh air while others are planing to hijack him, breaking news:FRESH AIR is for all nigerians. jason123: |
Alj Uche:ewu awusa, who opened the gate for you? |
Alj Uche: |
And your point is? 10cirenoh: |
Guy cool down, your blood is boiling, you just need some FRESH AIR.
Rich with red mud Abi?? Can you guys get back to 'rich east'?? you are busy parasiting on people land your here spewing thrash. continue your labour and shall wait for abondone properties
|
Equal the north? No way,we cant equal them in poverty,we cant equal them in illiteracy(go and check jamb application list and the thread:NIGERIA ACADEMIA IN DIASPORA and see who is leading),presidency or not,we rule, you watched super eagles recently? Guess who have been puting smile on the face of nigerians,we are the salt of this country and right now we need a FRESH AIR.
. . .In addition, GEJ is still pledging more juicy post to the NORTH. Hate yourself for all i care una don carry last in Nigerian scheming of things. In your sleep if you ever dreamed about igbos equalling the NORTH then go for deliverance!
|
This is just the reason why in steped in,from 1999 to now, most of the things that worked in nigeria were spear headed by igbos, from dora to soludo, ezekwesili, ndukwe, okonjo, etc, but before our eyes these great people's achievements have been painted black, first soludo, emeagwali then dora and now ngozi, call me a tribalist if you like, but if i dont look out for my tribe then who will? jason123: |
Now this is what happens when a deranged impostor smokes ganja, dude your are suffering from verbal diarrhoea,i cant read this your crap. jason123: |
Most itshekiri people i have met will always tell me that they are itshekiri and not yoruba, even though they acknowledge their yoruba connection, their interest usually lies with south-south and not south-west,when a certain deranged fella runs around nland telling people that he is itshekiri-yoruba(whatever that means) whose interest lies with the west, then something is wrong somewhere. Goodluck's middle name has always been EBELE,at least i now know why the west hate the man,you should have said so since, who knows,he might decide to change AZIKIWE with Awo.Goodluck to you.
Are the Itsekiris not part Yorubas again? Are the Yorubas complaining? LOL All this brouhaha! So that must mean y'all want GEJ so bad because of Akizwe (or whatever) he brilliantly planted as his name for you gullible SEasterners.
|
For someone who claims to know about the east, you seem to know little about the east,i am not suprised. To help your ignorance ,both present governors of Abia and Imo won the election under PPA(orji uzor's party) platform,APGA controls Anambra,PDP controls Enugu and Ebonyi,i hope u get the point,ACN controls lagos, ekiti, osun states,Lp controls ondo,PDP controls Oyo and ogun states, therefore ACN control 3/6 of southwest, while PPA and APGA controls 3/5 of southeast,so what's your point? Yes the west is unreliable, as ribadu will soon learn like zik did,GEJ knows that the east is reliable, hmm did u feel that? It's fresh air, goodluck to everybody.
Who is more reliable?? The EAST?? Go fasten that loose nut supporting your brain. ACN is having how many states?? How many APGA is having?? As far as am concern you guys are like pigs eating your own children even when it seem you are not hungry. Upon all the crocodile's tears your shedding what happen the to APGA(Ojukwu's party)?? Just stop displaying your worthless hatred and find away to retrieve your brain from the gutter. Just shut your crap up and see that you are the highest betrayals we are having. Hypocrites!
|
Funny, for a yoruba man parading himself as itshekiri, you didnt disappoint me. I have strong reasons to believe that the recent attempt to make us believe that buhari is a messiah by most southwesterners is not unrelated to picking of bakare as vp by the dictator, poor ribadu,if only he knew how unreliable the west can be,seems the good old west has realized that buhari commands more northern votes than him, same old west, as deceitful as ever, ribadu must be feeling like a fish out of the water. jason123: |
Not long ago,it was all about ribadu and how he is the messiah, now all they shout is BB,what is it with the west and their tendency to lick the aboki's ass, these people are so flexible, switching allegiance in a mater of seconds. Now that we are close to wrestling power from the north and set Nigeria on the right part, these peeps are willing to hand it back to the north in the name of vp slot, buhari is part of the group that turned this country to mess,he is part of the past and should stay in the past.We all need fresh air in Nigeria. |
May God have mercy on japan, this is horrific. |
