jascopassion: Tnx a lot, like ow much will I need bf I could tink of getin Visa? Can a 1st timer be issue up to 6mnts visiting Visa? It's not quite about how much you need, it's about meeting the financial requirements as I explained in the opening post. And yes, a first timer can get a six months visa |
IrishBebey: He's a disgrace and the shame is on Nigeria that approves such barbaric practiceHe should have been arrested for pedophiliac conducts |
Tegese: In that case, see you in there, I'm a genuine personDo you want me to tell them? |
Tegese: But it takes will-power to be able to do that, a lot if people are addicted to food, you knowAre yu talking about yourself? |
shut up. that is not way to move forward. we dont want your white version of "" moving forward". YOU dont decide how we are to move forward so gtfoh!
This is needless, she didn't insult you first so, there is no need to be this personal with her |
By the way, what has a dating site got to do with the price of pizza in spain or the cost of living in i reland?
What else that hasn't been said yet? |
I understood all along even though I tried to play play along |
IrishBebey: Unfortunately, women ha e the reputation of gossiping, but arguably, Men can gossip just as muchMay be right, men can actually gossip as well |
sundyke107: I have only travelled to Dubai in 2011. Please do you think I have a chance considering my account history as stated earlier? You're right, France' visa is arguably more difficult to get being that it's not a popular destination by Nigerians therefore, France embassy understands that you must have a very serious reason to want to travel to France |
sundyke107: Please I forget to add that as per lending cash out to people, I dont have documents (receipts) to back it up. I only collect postdated cheques(collateral) from my clients which i hand over to them upon liquidation appropriate liquidation of the loan. Note the loan is usually for period of 1-2months.If only you knew that this type of loan or "contribution" is criminal in Europe, you wouldn't have even been thinking of making mention of it |
psquaret: op pls I want to know if the embassy will verify the introduction letter from the place of work. I m a police officer and I don't want my office to know about my travel because I only on annual leave of 21 working days. and I want to travel to Grenada for two weeks, will the embassy contact my office? This would be considered as fraud or deception, and if it's the US, you'd be on the verge of getting yourself a life ban |

jascopassion: Hello moderator, please u will needs to bear with me. Despite the fact that am a graduate and have being following and reading this thread for long. There are still some things which I don't understand. What category of visa will you be applying for? Well, whatever category it may be N200k is taking you no where, you will even loss a vast amount of the money in the process. You would need either or both the invitation letter or/and hotel accommodation. My advice is, do not try it at this stage |
kclexa: @Vicjustice; I don't think you got my advice right.I'm sorry if i misunderstood you. And you're right, it's not a taboo to squat with one's sister/brother in one room, but to apply for a visa with such accommodation arrangement will result in refusal |
In my own opinion I think @funkybaby just said her mind and said the truth because B4 making any comments I read the thread to an extent at least and she said what exactly was on my mind... I love your comments @funkybaby! no hating on nairaland.
I'll not accord you the least blame because you're not aware of past troubling events: those who are old members in this section are aware of what I'm talking about. and they know that it is one thing to make observation from a sincere heart, and another thing to make indirect remarks against me out of old resentment, an age long grievance strong enough to trigger indirect comeback attack. |
funkybaby:Justwise/Disguy You are aware that this comment is referring to me, and it isn't funny. there has been peace in Nairaland, and a lasting one it has been, therefore, advice any returnee to keep it so. Thanks. |
justwise: hmmm shey you don come with your wahala?I'm glad that you feel me: indeed, there have been numerous instances when I felt conned by such people. You see, this is a forum where people are free to be anonymous, so I don't see any meaningful reason for pretending to be someone else: it is regrettable enough that no one here uses his or her true names, and despite this, some people would still narrate their own stories in proxy. Why would anybody seek genuine answer to a question that is asked in deception? To me, the thought of corresponding with an ingenuine someone is something absurd |
radical05: Hello Vicjustice, this aint deception and the reason why i know so much is because the person in question is my fiance but he doesnt come on nairaland but i happen to be a member hence asking the question on his behalf...please i'm really asking on someone's behalf. I have no reason to lie. Thanks as i await your response.I appreciate your clarification, I'll look properly to it and would respond later |
psquaret: I am a police officer and I am currently still active in the service. I have a friend in Grenada who want me to come spend a holiday in her country and she sent me an invitation sign by the immigration and the immigration also sent me a letter that is fine by them that I should come to their country but the problem now is that I.will need a UK airside transit visa pls what re my chances of getting the UK transit visa. Grenada is a visa free for Nigerian nationals pls good people of nigeria help me out with good information thank youWell, applying for a UK transit visa using a visa-free country as final destination is an extremely difficult thing to do, it is even more difficult than applying for a regular UK visa. |
Can Kissing And Romancing Before Marriage Be Termed As 'fornication' ?[/quoteWhat a shame to not know the meaning of "romance" before asking the question, what an embarrassment to have such horrible English in front page, and what a pity that people are responding to this without knowing what ROMANCE mean. Sad |
radical05: Hello Vicjustice, I have a huge headache regards this issue and I would be glad if you can help out.So, you're doing all these salary calculations and long analysis with passion for a "friend"? With due respect, you seem to know so much about "a friend" than I even know my own self. Look, it is not a problem to answer a "friend" question, but it just doesn't go well with me to think that someone is trying to get information from me by means of unecessary deception |
target007: Yes, you can ask for your passport but you will loose your application fee (nonrefundable) because as per UKBA policy once you've asked for your passport to be returned before any visa decision they will cancel your application process and there is no refund. So i will advice, unless whatever you need your passport for outweighs the opportunity cost, in this case, your visa application fee, you may as well just wait for a UKBA decision on your visa application. They will not necessary cancel his application, the application can still go on, they'll contact him to bring back the passport if the application is sucessful. There are actually some instances in which an application may be cancelled due to passport withdrawal: it all depends on circumstances and the sensibility of the application |
Pitykitten: Good day,You can collect it if they don't know that you're not the real owner, otherwise, it will be impossible to collect it |
I was refused a visa, and i'm really upset, I would like to do a review with my lawyer and seriously i'm laughing at myself because I have seen similar cases to mine, i.e I mean using a business account statement because I don't have a savings account, my friend did the same thing she was initially refused and she did a review and got the visa, so I just want to do a review and submit by latest Tuesday, although I have an immigration Lawyer in-charge already but I still need some advice at least.
What advice would be valid to you since you have definitely made up your mind on what to do? |
cachal: Hello Good people of the house, please I have few questions to ask.I would have answered the questions had it not been that they are for your "friend" |
Yeecar: I am a federal Civill servant, I work with the federal institute of industrial research oshodi. I recently got a scholarship to come to the US for a 1 month training which will be coming up by January 2014 . I applied for a B1 visa. An invitation letter was sent to me through d email which I presented to d Consular officer. But suprisingly I was denied a visa under section 214 (B) I told her dat a leter of introduction was also given to me by my employer but she didn'tThe reason(s) for the refusal must have been explained to you even though you did not state it here. However, I suspect it has something to do with your personal circumstances. I also think that you tried too hard to give impression to the embassy in that you were dressed wearing your work card around your neck: that alone might have been seen as an attempt to convince the visa officer of your credibility, but it might have created a negative impression |
gowaga68: @Vicjustice what can you say of Czech republic?Personally, i wouldn't like to live there, i wouldn't like to live in a country where wages are low, and yet it is extremely difficult for a black man to find even a menial job |
honourableseyi: Then what about Germany and Norway? which one is better? which one has a good prospect that is favourable for international student?@vic. Thanks sirI can't really say which one is better or worse, it just depends on individual preferences |
aggymore: Good day, I need your advice. I am looking for someone I can talk to on what to do. I applied for US visa 5years ago and was refused. , so I thought I freestyle on different threads and ease my nervousness only to stumble on some questions left unanswered because they were asked by 'a friend' for 'a friend'. to make it worse, a particular person here made it the norm to admonish, scold and ignore posters asking these 'friend's friends' questions. i wonder why you let him get away with it and not speak to him about it.
or whoever.
