I think those of us who are looking for employment in Federal Tertiary Institutions should be very optimistic come 2024. The exeption of Federal Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education from IPPIS will open more job opportunities in the federal Tertiary Institutions.
The VCs, Rectors and Provosts are now in charge. No more unnecessary bureaucracy of getting approvals from different agencies and capturing.

Don't be too optimistic, removal from IPPIS also open up opurtunity for ghost worker. Except for institution with good heads.

If a person was to get two appointment letters from two separate organizations and the person picks one organization, can the person sell Or give the other slot out? What I’m asking is that after your name has been printed on an appointment letter, can you still sell or give the job to someone else without having to meet the senator that gave you the job in the first place.
