Biko has anyone traveled recently using Expert-Medicals PCR test kit. Are they still approved test providers in the UK. I'm looking for day 2 PCR test kit that is pretty affordable for my little ones. And there test kits seem cheaper but I want to be sure I can use them b4 I book.

Dependant Visa ALERT!!

What God cannot do does not exist.

Visa application - 5th Oct (Priority for Spouse only )
Biometrics - 8th Oct(Premium Lounge)
NSF mail(for spouse) - 12th Oct
NSF (for my 1st daughter) - 13th Oct
NSF (for my son and last baby) - 15th Oct 2021.
Paid Mail sent - 19th Oct
2nd Paid Mail - 22nd Oct
BRP mail received - 25th Oct
Collection Mail received - 26th Oct
Passport collection - 27th Oct

I became worried, cos for some reasons, I didn't want the delay NSF will cause. But I refused to panic cos I knew I did everything right. There was no previous visa denial. I felt it was the bank. So on 16th Oct, I called the bank. They confirm that enquiry was made by UKVI on the account on the 13th and they replied them same day. I sent a paid mail to UKVI on the 19th and they confirmed decision has been made on the applications. I waited until 22nd Oct yet applications were still @DMC, so I emailed them again. On the 25th Oct, I received their BRP letters in an email. Next day I received their collection mail. Thank you Jesus.

I will keep giving all glory to God, cos It has all been by his grace.

To all who are awaiting for their Visas. Do not panic as long as you did everything right. Trust God. It will end in praise.

You can alternatively book a Air BndB, and use that address. Thats what I did, you dont have to pay for it, just make sure to cancel the bookings before the dates, i think usually they would charge within the week of arrival . Some people used the school address as well. You also have the option of your current location.

My husband is filling this form for our kids and came across this question. I don't get the question. Is it how he(my husband) is related to me or how the applicant is related to me. Those who hv applied for their child dependants. What is the likely answer to this question?

*Open an account for the child and pay in some money. Ensure the address on the account is same as place of residence.

* Get a letter of confirmation from the child's school stating the child lives with you and you pay her fees.

This meets two of the requirements listed. I did so for my daughter and got her Visa all thanks to Scobby2007 guidance.

Pls good people, Has anyone successfully applied for and received child dependant visa for a child over 16yrs of age? Did you upload anything differently apart from birth cert, Int'l passport and POF; like a letter from his school and his bank statement confirming his address as same with yours?

I found this on https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/family-members where it was requested to provide 2 out the list of documents in order to confirm address.

Pls, Can I used my stamped entry clearance to apply for visa for my dependants? I don't hv my BRP yet, cos I just got into UK and on quarantine.

Will it be alright if I use my stamped entry clearance (visa vignette) since my BRP isn't yet available to me?

Anyone here ever had to fill their partner's dependant visa application after travelling b4 them? What do I answer in these parts?

My spouse printed it out and signed then sent a scanned copy to me to also print out and sign, my spouse got his visa approved but still waiting for collection email for the kids.

Pls, those who traveled b4 their dependants. How did you and your spouse get to sign the Consent Letter(for the kids) together during their(dependants) visa applications? Since both signatures are required for the letter of consent.
I'm asking cos the main applicant has already traveled to uk while spouse and kids hasn't yet.

My wife Application went successfully even after US cancel her US student visa due to the fact that she had a baby through Obama and we dint pay for child birth...She still has a semester to go when she came home but her visa was cancelled due to Trump new renewal visas. She was giving white paper but was asked to provide the receipt of child birth. We got the insurance receipt from the hospital but her visa was cancelled without prejudice.

But GOD did it , without any interview

Fast forward to my application, I applied a week after she got her visas with the kids. Note I have a UK refusal where I claim single and no dependent in 2018 but was married and had a baby. But GOD came through for me. I fasted and prayed and GOD heard.

Can my spouse's bank statement be used for his own visa application and my dependant children application? The money in his account is enough and, they (spouse and kids) will be applying together.
I'm the main applicant and already have my visa and won't be in Nigeria to print statement from my bank by the time their application will be made.

Hi, on the website, there is a currency converter where you can input the dollar value to get the naira equivalent. Pay exactly the amount as seen on the conversion to their account details. Generate a receipt and send to the email i placed on my previous post.

Remember to state your PNR and phone number as heading this time.

I used Qatar website. If you have a dollar card it would be easier. But what i did was to make a booking, put it on hold and use the PNR number generated to make a direct transfer to their Gtbank naira account.

Afterwards, i sent the payment Evidence to losreservation@ng.qatarairways.com with my PNR and mobile number as a remark. Same day, e-ticket was sent to my registered email address.

Register online on their website and take a look. All instructions are there for you to follow. I returned later to select my seats and meal preference.

How did you do the conversion from $$ to naira? What exchange rate did you use, cos I noticed prices are listed in $$ on their website.

I followed ur advice and received a mail containing my PNR and their account details that I can pay in, but no conversion rate course there GTB is a naira account.

I'm stuck at this point.

Yes, Nigeria is on Qatar red list, meaning you can not enter Qatar. However you can transfer through Qatar. Even though the same word transit is used for passenger transfering to another destination and passenger on Qatari transit visa, it is not the same thing. Those with transit visa get to leave the airport.

I was about booking for Qatar Airways today and someone pointed my attention to the fact that Nigeria is on Qatar red list. That it might affect my transit through Doha to Manchester. I got confused cos I thought I've seen some people here, who has booked or travelled through that route.

Bikonu, anyone who has travelled using Qatar Airways or who has knowledge of this should pls help clear this doubt. Or is there a process once has to complete in order to use the airline.

Let me be sure if I can proceed with my booking, B4 the price rises higher than it is now kwanu.
