Kanye is a fool, supporting Trump when it's clear Trump is a Nazi-Racist. I'd unfollow if I were a follower.

No investment, slow user growth.

But I may relaunch it next year.
I may not really understand what you're passing through, but I beg you in the name of all that's good, find a way to keep that site up and running.
Maybe ads may help.

It's even worse in the region where I'm from and reside(Niger Delta), majority of the youths now think "Marching Ground" as it is usually called, is part and parcel of their fundamental rights.
Its sickening to just turn thoughts towards these things sef.

Good day fellow roomies, I'd like to know if I stand a chance at being admitted into Yabatech to study Computer science.
I scored 223 in the just concluded JAMB exam. Also, my WAEC results are from two sittings plus I'm not an indigene of Lagos state (I'm from Rivers).
I'd also like to know their method of admission, if they conduct post UTME or screening. Thanks in advance for your contribution. Cheers!

yea buh really to some extent its better when being taught by someone or during a course so you can have a curriculum or a pathway
Of course, virtual learning can't equate real time learning. It's the mess that decades of corrupt and greedy governance has put us in.

I can't see myself writing native java codes for Android react native was used to build an app and it was so fast and development speed. I'd prob learn android native for plugin purposes a dude I know , knows nothing about Android Native but react native and he created an insane app in matter of weeks.
Ha! You concur, nice. Times are changing and we ought to keep up with the pace else, we'll become obsolete.
Peace!!

Technically he has a point your react native still calls Java to access the Native API buy am curious why is React Native more popular than NativeScript, I know Android Native but not an expert am looking at the two and I won't lie NativeScript appeals to me but react native has more support.
I understand your point, I wanted to let the brother know mobile app development doesn't revolve around Java. At least not in this age of hybrid and even native's using JavaScript.

I guess you've not researched about react-native. Go do it so you know technology is evolving, and it's evolving at a really fast rate.

ComputersRe: Ubuntu Linux by vickzdvipe(m): 4:02am On Apr 10, 2018
I think this might be helpful to Rookies like me venturing into the magnificent yet complex world of Linux.
There is a course on edx.org by The Linux Foundation that teaches the basics of Linux.
If you are like me who doesn't have anybody to put you through on how to setup and use Linux in your field of specialty, I'd strongly advice you take the course.
N.B. The course is free to audit except you want a certificate which comes at a price in dollars.
I would have placed the link but I really don't know how to, just search the website using Linux as keyword.
Peace!

Whenever I see post like this, I shrug! You know why? The OP is wallowing in ignorance and he/she either doesn't recognizes it or chose to remain in utter ignorance.

For the sake of sanity, computer science is NOT only about coding. Go do some research to save us the arguments cause it ain't worth it.

Peace!

Edit: This doesn't in anyway vindicate Nigerian universities especially the public ones from the fact that they are under par when it comes to global learning standards in all respite.

You're not the first and/or only person to observe the height of mediocrity that abounds in this section. Soon, a mofo would jump out of cover to call you an "over serious" person. Telling you the guys jeopardizing this section are doing it to make ends meet.
It's just a sad thing to know that mediocrity is abundant within most Nigerians.

I don't know enough about programming but I know that there are 6 programming languages for game development, and they are
- C++
- Java
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- SQL

Now, I don't know what all these mean, but even my layman brain knows that proficiency in English language is not required.
Just to correct a notion, HTML5, CSS3 ain't programming languages. HTML5 is a markup language and CSS3 is used for styling web pages.
