Since l was born, since l got to know my father it has been one complain to the other..
There was never anytime he have money or have the financial strength to Carry out any family responsibility .
After struggling to finish University with no any job l started Pos business were l am managing myself,, the constant demand is killing my business ..
Today my mother called me that my sister is about to be enrolled into secondary school and the total amount for registration is 25k, l called my dad and told him that l will try raising 15k and they should complete the remaining 10k, he started complaining on how he doesn't have money and haven't eaten since yesterday,, in fact l am tired dear Nairalanders,

So long as it's paying your bills stick with it but make sure that you start early to invest your profits in good assets and possible expansion of the business to include other services.

All it takes is just one government policy or a new innovation in the tech world to knock off POS business, bear in mind that there was a time when people were making a lots of money from business call centres and cybercafes therefore you need to be pro active and think of the future

Good day nairalanders, After my Nysc in 2021, I started a Pos business that has been very profitable and gives me a maximum profit of 10k and a minimum profit of 6k a day, l Carter for all my bills and live well...
The major issue is that my mother keep emphasizing on getting a job and doesn't for once regard this business as anything..
I have try to make her see reasons but she just choose to remain adamant,, how many of this so called jobs can pay me what this business is paying me? how can l convince my mother that l want to expand my business and marry without so much emphasis on job here and there l am tired abeg...

l want to settle down latest next year, l live in Abuja, and the business l do is giving me a minimum of 6k daily.

Though on a good day l can make more than that, my major concern is that l feel it is too little considering the present inflation rate.

Please what is your advice, should l go ahead, or wait and expand my income, l dont want to marry as a man and start suffering abeg.

Infact, you have to profile every customer with the intent to transfer a scammer until proven otherwise. Some will transfer money and still report the transaction as erroneous transfer. 99% of Nigerians are criminal.

Dont mind them, majority will come make fake transfer and start pressurizing the POS attendant to give them money.
many will come with fake currency to deposit, An agent will erroneously pay a decline transactions and they will never return it.
if that lady is not a novice what makes her think money transferred into her moniepoint terminal will not be traced with evidence? a simple statement from moniepoint will give evidence of the money.
maybe he transfer the money and start pressurizing the girl to give him money even without confirmation,,

Most of the time when you send money to a moniepoint account it either reflect immediately with a heavy sound or it quietly drop on pos transfer without noise. it all depends on the network signal
it now depends on the agent to log in and check if it is pending or not, saying the agent program it that way is ignorance on your part.
Majority of those who patronize POS agent are criminals themselves but we are not ready for this discussion.
it is 10 times more easier for a customer to scam a POS agent than the other way round but most of you people are head bend on giving those set of people bad name.
No POS agent will tend to scam you in that manner because of your 9k, most of them make that amount a day so why jeopardize their position for that meager amount.
l can bet that girl was a novice and was also over protective because of the numerous customers coming to her stand with fake alerts.
