Nigerians are becoming less trustworthy and criminal minded. Everybody is looking for Maga to defraud in our offices, banks, churches, business premises, markets and schools.

The guy looks like a professional criminal. Sorry you lost your money that way... but what is more important is for you to learn from the experience otherwise there are more vipers out there to make you cry again.

Long Live Nigeria.

You are fool. What makes cheki different is the payment option. That way you reduce scams and get quality listing. Their biz model is good as it is yielding growth. If you don't like any service go start your own platform.

Investment / Re: Starting Magazine Production - Please Help Needed by victor08(m): 1:40pm On Jul 02, 2014
Mr Op. It seems you have been living in the cave. Why do I say so?

Many people in the print media are complaining that sales has almost dropped by 70%. People no longer buy prints like they used to do because everything is on the internet. No stable power in Nigeria coupled with high man power rate to run such businesses. People are closing you are trying to start yours...

My kind advice to you is to invest your money in online option and let your magazine be released weekly instead of monthly- were by people can go and read it. With one year you MUST have become an authority if you pick a unique niche. Remember CONTENT is important like they say. All you need to do is promote it once you go online and the world will hear about it.

Bottom-line: You will have less risk following this option even if it fails you can easily bounce back without loosing much, you save more money, you gain reputation and earn income by advertising and consultancy. Please think very careful about it and don't waist your money unnecessarily-even some experts here are willing to collect your money and teach you junk without proper market research.
Investment / Re: How Does Someone Get Investors For Tech Startups? by victor08(m): 12:57pm On Jul 02, 2014
Hello Op. Listen to me very careful. No investor will invest money into your business if you have not developed it fully and at least tested to show some interest from people and money making ability.

O yes that is the way it works. You call them investors not money donators. Nigeria is a country were you give people money for a specific project they end up diverting it to their personal needs.

If you can listen to my advice you can source money from your personal income, family, friends and colleagues. Develop a prototype and use it to pitch to investors.

Kind regards...

Nice one bro! I like the site. But you need to advertise it constantly to get leads and members.

No one will know your website if you don't make noise about it.

Another thing is to keep innovating until you get it perfect, this is not the final step.

If you are a copycat in blogging you will find it hard.
Steps:
1. Register a unique domain name.
2. Use wordpress fro the site.
3. Get a graphic designer to do a nice job.
4. Start researching and writing articles for your future audience.
5. Open a facebook page and Twitter account.
6. Start advertising your blog on facebook (30k can get you up to 2500 fans in a month).
7. Be consistent. Include pictures in your post.
8. Post regularly on facebook then insert a link to your blog so people can read more there.

The best is using sales copy- advertise it, drive traffic to it. Then build a list after you can contact them to build your amazing product!

Autos / Re: Is A Used Car Mileage Of 170,000 From Cotonou A Good One? by victor08(m): 6:11pm On Nov 01, 2013
Bro, I won't advice you to buy a car of 170,000 mileage when you can get a low mileage car here that is imported from US for the same price. Poverty has really made us to change the way we think in this country. That high mileage shows that engine has been well rocked for a long time. I wonder what still remains in the engine life?

Don't Gamble with your money bro; A white man will not buy a Car of that mileage because they have their reasons; we shouldn't turn our selves to third class citizens just because we want to own a car by all means. Please save more money and buy a low mileage car if you can't afford a BRAND NEW CAR.

I hope you understand.

Food / Ladies & Gentlemen What Do You Pay Attention To:(food Nutrition Or Quantity)??? by victor08(m): 5:19pm On Oct 14, 2013
Hello beautiful ladies, women, mothers, guys and men in the house.

All protocols observed!

I actually travel a lot. I am in my early thirties and can probably boost of having visited 17 states in Nigeria out of 36 states. I hope to cover more if my job will permit me. I have also been privileged to live amongst the hausas, yourbas, Ibos(my tribe), Benin and Idoma's. As a young boy I spent a lot of time helping out my mum in the kitchen when all my siblings left for boarding school in the early 90s. This made me saw how she prepared food for my Dad. Honestly I LEARN'T alot from her. Lol! Thanks to her although, I love her.

However,I discovered one particular thing from the environment I found myself that some of the families that I saw in this geographical regions don't pay enough attention to the food they prepare for their families.I mean; since we are what we eat and can die of food contamination or even poison. I once visited a family and the way the wife left the meat in a dirty basin with thousands of flies perching on the meat outside and this made me not to even drink the bottle of malt they offered me let alone eat there.
Though I did my best to enlighten some of the women the best i can if the opportunity permits me; I noticed that some of the reasons where based on:

1. Mindset
2.Environmental and cultural lifestyle
3.Poverty
4. Lack of proper home management skills
5. Lack of good nutrition literacy
6. Busy and dirty lifestyle
7.Improper upbringing etc.

So my question:do you pay attention to the food you eat, how it was prepared, cooked and served or you just prefer your plate to be filled up(Quantity)?

Share your views here:

Have a nice day and God bless as we eat healthier and live well.
