I have never lived in Europe before or now.
It's just my mentality from day one.
I know Nigerians are proud and show offs even in my family. They are all the same. But I choose to be different.
That's the pact I have with God but that aside, it's so interesting and relishing gisting with ladies or women from all works of life. Most times. I find it amusing when some women gist with so much enthusiasm and innocence. It's amazing. There was one time, I was gisting with my security guard wife, they are from benue, so I asked her, how come she's scarce in the compound?

she replied in pidgin that she had typhoid. I said eeyah sorry. So she asked a question about my church and I replied but it's seems one of my sentence was too much for her to understand lol

To respect people is not hard, it comes out from me naturally. It's no big deal to be humble and respectful. And people get to respect one back. It has even open lots of doors for me. While some people look shocked when I greet them respectfully or treat them well.
A stranger came to our office building looking for. Someone. He couldn't find his way around and I was at the hallway, stretching my legs. I greeted him first, an elderly man. He then looked at me well and answered with surprise in his face, then he asked please where is Barrister Akin office? I gave him directions. He said OK thank you. He left. I didn't know he sighted me entering my office. So when he was leaving , he knocked on my office door. One of girls came and said one baba wants to see me., I said ok. I went to the door and saw him again.

Do. You know what he said?
He said my daughter as you honour me today , greet me and attend to me respectfully, without knowing me, the heaven will honor you, men and women will honour you. Helpers will come your way. U will grow old like myself and more years in good health. Mehn I was surprised I swear. I was just saying amen. he smiled and said keep it up. And he left.

I felt pleasantly happy throughout that day, I was eeyah. Maybe it's been so long someone greet this man and show him respect. Na WA o.
