I got a call this evening from a lady pertaining to the internship, did anyone receive similar call?

cos I'm scared of Nigeria and its scamm

Moving forward, I would appeal to us all to limit discussions here to really beneficial information. Let's try a keep our reservations to ourselves. Some of us here are allergic to negative energy.

The NCDMB in-house HR team and the consultants had a virtual meeting yesterday and will be having another on Sunday. The invites for test will roll in by next week. They've assigned staff to different physical test locations across the country.

There are 40k plus applicants that met the advertised requirements across the country with the North East with the lowest number of about 170 persons and the South South has the highest.

They talked about reducing the number of the eligible applicants to much lower than the current 40k plus.

The advertised recruitment will be 100% merit based. The other mode of recruitment is also ongoing. They even packaged an APL yesterday in their Abuja Office for dispatch.

I pray God gives me my APL before the test commences. God's grace and favour to all of us here. Thank you.

It is definitely NCDMB (you can take it to the bank), but the aspect of number of intakes, date of test/possible resumption of new recruits is as coded as the lock of a bank vault. My inside sources told me that it is only the top management that can tell you when something might likely happen and with the look of things they have tightened every loose end so as to ensure that even the staff working with them are starved of info.

My question now is: must every States of the Federation be represented in the recruitment exercise?

What prompted the above question is the fact I have heard that some big politicians have already collected some slots for their people here in Bayelsa. I am from Anambra State, residing in Yenagoa.

The recruitment is real. My aunt got a slot but I already got a job in an agency + I wanna be in Abuja not Bayelsa. For the people that applied if you get it, prepare yourself to work in Bayelsa.
Note: please don’t pm me, I don’t have any job. My aunt doesn’t sell her slots, she only helps family members, relatives and people from our home town.

You are correct Sir. Only that NCDMB pay is slightly less than the other parastatals (NNPC, DPR, PTDF, PEF, PPPRA, etc).

Spot On, exactly how she explained it.. she said for example, they wanted to add 5 new candidates from Kaduna state, and they needed to select from a pool of 20 candidates from Kaduna that scored 80, (since the few that scored 85 & above were already picked in the former list) ,, she said if they wanted to pick the 5 randomly from the 20 since they scored the same, they would have done it by clicking on five names randomly and it would have still come down to pure luck, but they decided to make it a competition by using something that can rank them hence the use of portal logins and that's how they could select 5 without picking it randomly... WATS the corruption there or why is it so hard to believe that they can do that.. if there had picked them randomly Wat would have been the difference? they all scored 80 and each of them was eligible to be picked... they could have used another criteria I know, but thats the one she claimed they used..

Even the GMD is not a reliable source! The same GMD that said there will be a closure 'soon' which has turned to months. The GMD is as unreliable as any failed sources on NL. Napolitano, cavalier, panalyst et al and the GMD are all on the same pedestal! Yes, u heard me right. Lol

Politicians from Imo and Enugu received 12 and 10 slots respectively. The slots was shared according to their respective senatorial districts.

Like I said, most people will receive APL from next week.

Please a sister needs an IT placement in any food processing company either in Lagos or Ibadan precisely or any other location you can suggest. She has tried a lot of places but different excuses, and funny enough the IT should round up in the next couple of months but she has not started. APL will drop soon (my sauce is not specific). Please ensure to have NIMC enrolment slip (you will need it not directly for the documentation but get it). Documentation is going to be online...all you will need to do is print out confirmation of completion page for submission.

I pray this week will bring us JOY!!!
