mank1234: This response for the quote above and your claim elsewhere that southerners are lazy.
You're actually the one doing nothing but claims to be doing something. Or how else do you explain having time to reply all comments on this thread?
If I were to do farming as you are doing I won't just stop at producing raw food; I did look at processing it cos that's where real value is being added.
Unfortunately, your brothers up north who glorify in old school subsistence agriculture lack basic education to know what to do. Find out most of the processed foods in Nigeria are either imported or processed in the industrious south.
For the records the most industrious Nigerians are found in the east. They may have some negative tendencies but they are very hard-working and do not allow initial setback to deter them. Exactly my point. How can one person reply all the comments, if that’s not joblessness. |

Big brother this year shows what is going to happen 2019. Guys, sentiments aside, why the hell is ceec still in that house? Seriously, she is exhausting to watch. So it is really a surprise that I see some people rooting for her, saying that she is real. I don’t think she has a mental problem as people say, but she definitely has a bad character. I am tired of people justifying her behavior because she doesn’t have a mother or she lacks love. She is the most toxic person I have ever seen. At least nairaland boys won’t bash girls this time around, saying we are hating on her because she is pretty. Tragic. |

partnerbiz4: What I am saying is that it wrong and an exhibition of crass ignorance for one to convert earnings in dollars to naira and use it as basis. A person that earns 1000 dollars in NY should not convert it to naira and arrive at 360k and then claim to be better than someone in Enugu earning 250k
This is because the money is spent in dollars in NY and not in naira. You still don’t understand me. Ok tell me why is she running back? Obviously, way of life is more expensive there. But you can still get back. I am tired of explaining this. It’s fine. Your opinion. |

obailala: Which is more important, her minimum wage £20k job in the UK or her marriage/home?... Okay since her N27k job in Nigeria is pointless, why not sit at home or maybe start a business? Well she is not yet married to him, so it doesn’t count. I am not among those women who sees marriage as making it in life. Don’t misinterpret this. I have my priorities. One thing I am very confident about is that i don’t want to suffer in marriage. Two people can’t be broke in marriage. |

partnerbiz4: Look at you. How could you say he earned 31 times more in the uk?
That's after converting to naija exchange rate. Does she spend in naira?
You just lack a smattering of economics. Don’t even start something this morning. Yes she earned that amount in the Uk monthly. At least it was enough for her. In Nigeria here, what can 27k do exactly. No tell me. Why is she then running back to spend that since she won’t be saving much? Please stop talking like you are smart because your comment doesn’t show it. |

partnerbiz4: 31x indeed. So she earns in pounds and spends in naira? Why don’t you try understanding something before jumping into conclusion? She earned that equivalent in the Uk, it’s fair she should earn almost half of that in Nigeria Don’t quote for the sake of quoting if you don’t have anything meaningful to say. |

Lalas247: Vic isn't that above average .. can u tell these ppl what minimum wage is..nothing more irritating than ppl who have no clue talking rubbish yet they don't even earn that much.
she is stupid though I will never put my career on hold .. for what ? Awwwn, she called me Vic . It is actually above average but look at where she is coming from. She was already earning 31x that amount and I believe for the same position. I am very surprised she took the job in the first place. It’s really low. She didn’t come to Nigeria for herself but for a man she loves which is a very good thing, but sometimes we need to apply Wisdom in our everyday life. Clearly she saw the “potential” in him but honestly most guys that give that potential speech are sometimes time wasters. |
Romance › Re: Lady Who Left Her N850k Job In UK To Be With Her Boyfriend In Nigeria Plans To.. by Viicfuntop(f): 6:29am On Apr 18, 2018 |
I’ll say it again. The era of E go better is dead and gone. I don’t see any reason why a lady would put her career on hold because of a man. A woman knows the man that is worth waiting for, not all the ones talking about useless potential(this table has most of nairaland boys on it). |
