That is where ethnicity mentality brought us to in Nigeria. My brother, if it is OBI, the president today and Yoruba people are grumble, Ibo will still support him despite the fact that they are suffering , just as Hausas were during Buhari.
you're absolutely right. I also observed that from my end. Ethnicity. That is one of our problems. Only the wise ones find a way out of this mess. I am a yoruba guy but i cannot support Tinubu. When i am not foolish

I sold my house and everything to Japa and I am not regretting it. Thanks to my wife that have good foresight. I know how much I pay on school fees alone in Nigeria while here school is free for my kids, I only pay for food £12 per week.

While in Nigeria before the month end like this, I am already looking for who to borrow money from to fuel car to go to work.

Within 6 months I know how much I don safe here in the UK despite working part time oo because of the kids, If I wan build another house for Nigeria I can do it but I won't.

For you to know how terrible things are in Nigeria, if I tell my 5 years old daughter that we are going back to Nigeria. She will start begging me that daddy no oo am not going I like it here.

Nigeria has a very large population that’s why the average ones as you have said are overshadowing others but I will tell you also for a fact that there are rich and comfortable people in Nigeria compared to other country.
If your country is good people will not be running away from it. Did you see Americans or Canadians begging for our visa? Tell your leaders to do the needful

This is a very big argument and I can say that proverty rate is really exaggerated.

The rate at which people are making millions in Nigeria is mind blowing and no where in the world do people make such money in savings even in UK, Canada and US.

One major problem in Nigerian is the Herd Mentality syndrome.

Once you start up any trend in Nigeria that promises to bring in fortune. The rest of the population will blindly and quickly jump into it without applying due diligence. Check Pos business, Content creation, MMM etc other African countries don't behave this way.

Those that will lose on this trend are the ones who have something meaningful doing in Nigeria and those who sold solid properties to Japa.

Hardship is everywhere, is only dvmb people that doesn't know it.
You can never compare the hardships in Nigeria to that of the US and other saner clines. Hardship for US no worst reach say make they no see food chop unlike Nigeria where an average Nigerians cannot afford 3 square meal daily

With the rate at which Nigerians are leaving Nigeria, you will think with N50k you can japa from that country. Every Tom, Dick and Harry have left, the remaining ones are just waiting to buy their flight ticket.

I doubt if we still have up to 1 million people left in Nigeria at this time. So where is that multidimensional poverty statistics coming from? If almost everybody can afford the cost of Japa that doesn't come cheap. This makes me to come to the conclusion that, Nigerians might not have money in their bank account, but majority have tangible assets that can be easily converted to cash if the need arises.
poverty is not exaggerated in Nigeria. We're over 200 millions people in Nigeria. Check the statistics online to see for yourself. Less than 10 millions can afford to relocate. What does that tell you?

That one is for you and your people not me grin .
Respect is meant for both party and provision is meant for both party while the man takes the leading role. Her contribution is necessary, the said lady so far contributed only her virginity and nothing more.
If a woman went to school to come back as an house wife then i'll rather go look for a young village girl to use as house wife. But if she's a graduate she don't have to useless to herself.
The little thing she could provide for herself will make me support her more.
Oh!
You mean a woman should have something doing no matter how little right? Yes you're right. But there's no formula to all these. Some men do set up their women and they live happily. Some prefer her a house wife and they live happily. My mum for instance was a house wife and their marriage was forever glowing. Just like some women looking for rich men, instead of a man who has a steady job or business, his own apartment either rent or owned, a man with vision, prospect, a man that love and respect you. If they're lucky to meet a rich man fine. The former should be the standard. Most women of nowadays don't even want to be a housewife, but some men prefer them to be housewife for several reasons. First, to look after the home, some men are naturally jealous by nature so they prefer she stays at home, some men sleep with other women outside so they have this believe that their wives aren't safe etc

In summary, men are the sole provider in family while women only support (though not all women as some men prefer to be the only provider)

However, change your mentality that a full housewife is wrong. I have seen many marriages living happily while the woman is a house wife. I have also seen marriages tearing apart despite the woman having something doing (not a house wife)

A woman's money is not a yardstick or determinant to keep a family together

My sister was 23 when she got married and her marriage is 16 years living happily

Ladies nowadays are not worth it, sorry to say... If not for kids and family settings, most men won't have business with today's women. Sex is cheap, infact too cheap so that's out of the picture.

The world has gone wrong.. the girls that expect to get married tomorrow are now into hookups, escorts, prostituti0n like it's no man's business. Tomorrow, their parents will be drawing up lists for wedding for same h0es using their bodies anyhow now. Just annoying.
Those hookup girls are they sleeping with themselves or with your fellow men? Women also do say if not for children, they won't have anything to do with Men. And the truth is that na we men no fit do without these women.

It is easier for women to stay without sex than we men

I just know why God chose Mary mother of Jesus because she is not the only virgin then undecided Mary had what most women lack and that's submission.
Most women are only humble because they lack money or power, their true color will be shown as soon as they get what they want.
Marry remained humble and submissive to her husband and other elders even though she was the mother of the savior. undecided
Lol

There are more successful marriage than failed ones if you care to know. Stop using the few failed marriages you see on social media to make general statement.
