seunmsg: Nawa o, what's wrong with our leaders self? Why can't Ekweremadu defend himself before a competent Nigerian court if he's innocent? Is it that he doesn't believe he can get justice in Nigeria's court or what? If he doesn't believe in the ability of the judicial system to do justice in his case, then it's a shame on him and he doesn't deserve to remain as the deputy senate president of the country. Ordinary Nigerians look up to the judiciary as the last hope of the masses. Why should the deputy president of the senate not have faith in his country's judicial system? Will a US senator petitions the UN or Nigeria's national assembly if a criminal case is instituted against him? Ekweremadu is just a big disgrace. The people he petitioned did not ask him to forge the senate rules, they can't help him in any way. He should go and defend himself before the high court in Abuja. rubish Post by u as if Nigeria has Law...Stupid and Nonsense Country!!! |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Unleashed Media Against Buhari, Says I'm In Charge! by Vincent41(m): 7:10pm On Jun 28, 2016 |
OgunNewsFact: Tinubu unleashed media against Buhari, says I'm in charge, you can't bite the fingers that fed you
Tinubu, it was gathered, had rallied his media, including major Nigerian news outlets, print, electronic, and social media to fight down the ex-general for entirely scorning his interests, and breaching major promises made during the electioneering campaign.
Several news headlines exposing the hidden side of the Buhari’s regime have been rocking the news media.
For instance, last week’s story that Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Tukur Buratai, and his two wives owned a Dubai property paid for in one transaction did not fall from the sky.
Thus, influx of very revealing stories about the regime has been attributed to a final crash of long but complicated partnership between a supposedly, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and President Muhammadu Buhari.
Their political love affair has taken a new turn, leaving the President and his cronies dazed with multiple media attacks, including leakages of sensitive documents incriminating key members of the administration.
Key bloggers loyal to Tinubu have already taken credit for the attacks, warning that “the worst is yet to come.”
Tinubu, it was gathered, had rallied his media, including major Nigerian news outlets, print, electronic, and social media to fight down the ex-general for entirely scorning his interests, and breaching major promises made during the electioneering campaign.
The regime on its own part, has snubbed Tinubu’s advances and rebranded into action, its propaganda machine facilitated by Femi Adesina, Buhari’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity).
“The blogs are hot; you may checkout what is happening right now, and more is coming,” a Blogger who identified himself as “Internet James Bond” told our newsroom. In the past two weeks, Buhari’s regime has been under pressure over trending news pieces regarding himself, family, and key members of his administration.
“The breaking news recently revealing how President Muhammadu Buhari, and his wife Aisha owns a sprawling Asokoro lakeside mansion in Abuja was not coincidental,” claimed a source associated with Tinubu’s camp. “We knew that Aisha and Buhari own this hidden property; we had this information even before the election, and we knew why all of a sudden the story is all over the media. Just don’t ask me, because I won’t say more than this… But tell them that more is coming”
Similar stories also made it to the newsstand, and swamped the social media with threads of commentaries. For instance, one Air Commodore Umar Muhammed (rtd), a top appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari, a member of the Presidential Investigative Committee on Arms Procurement made the headlines as he was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) over fraudulent arms procurement. In most humiliating context, Buhar’s regime were scorned when $1.5 million cash, about 18 luxury cars including Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Buggatti and many others were recovered after a search of Muhammed’s residence.
Femi Adesina’s team defending Buhari and the regime disgracefully ran out of steam with more outrageous headiness revealing the regime’s process deception and communication hoax.
Shortly before President Buhari left the country early June for medical emergency, Adesina assigned to shield information from the public had swayed the national media with assurance that the President was in good health. A few hours later, the news of Buhari’s worsening health broke out, leaving the regime all embarrassed and confused about their own secrets. To cover-up his deceit, Adesina quickly issued a release that President Buhari will leave for London Monday for a ten-day break, to attend to his health issues.
International Guardian reliably gathered that other opposition factions in the APC might also be instrumental to exposing the regime’s rather selective approach in managing the nation’s resources. According to a source, “Buhari cannot bite the finger that fed him. Tinubu is still in control, and our people would find out sooner or later.”
Issues between Buhari and Tinubu started earlier in the 2014 Presidential Campaign, when the APC leaders secretly negotiated several tradeoffs concerning the post-election sharing of “political profits.” Tinubu purportedly negotiated with Buhari (then APC Presidential candidate) for allocation of oil wells in the Niger Delta and consideration of his picks in some ministerial positions. This was to compensate for Tinubu’s support and huge financial commitment to the party as well as Buhari’s candidacy.
Since the regime’s inauguration however, Tinubu’s camp has been angered by Buhari’s failure to live up the arrangements. Tinubu’s last major frustration about Buhari’s regime was expressed in his ten-paragraph statement, titled: “kachikwu needs to know that respect and good performance will do what magic cannot.” Emmanuel Kachikwu is the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. In part, Tinubu wrote, “With that I do reserve the right and the duty as a Nigerian to voice my opinion when I believe a member of this government has strayed from the progressive calling required of this administration.”
A snub of this letter by the administration, further angered Tinubu’s camp who are now leading the media war. “I don’t speak for Tinubu, but I can authoritatively tell you that Buhari is finished,” said an Abuja-based blogger who opted for anonymity.

amaraedec: I have not spoken to anyone about my ordeal but I sincerely hope your advice will go a long way towards healing me and restoring back my sanity.
I started dating this lady whom I still love so much February 2013, few months before I lost my mummy. I was so cautious of the affair at first, knowing that it was the first time I am getting so emotionally entangled to a lady, but after I lost my mum, I was so hurt and the fact that she was the only person very close to me then, I threw caution to the wind and fell helplessly in love with her, hoping that it would help alleviate the pains of losing My mum and praying deep inside my heart that the relationship will lead to marriage. It did to a reasonable extent alleviated the pains of losing my mum.
Even while I was in school, I gave her everything that I somehow lived in deprivation. Her friends were complaining to me that I spend a lot on her and it might backfire one day. I ignored their advice. I buy her handouts, clothes, Mobile gadgets and even give her certain amount of money on monthly basis to add up to her feeding money, I made sure she lived above her peers in school .
The whole problem started late 2014, when I was about leaving for my NYSC. she started acting quite strange, I respected her privacy that I don't even touch her phones, even though I give her the freedom to handle my phones and answer my calls. I noticed she wouldn't pick up her calls while with me. Like I said, I respected her privacy that I never gave so much thoughts into her actions, I loved and gave her my all believing that she will never cheat on me. Then on her birthday, I had got lots of surprising gifts for her and even arranged a little get together without her knowledge. To my greatest surprise, she surfaced at the venue of the party with the excuse that she was going on an errand for her parents. I handed over to her the gifts I got for her, she collected them and left the venue. Little did I know she had gone to see her erstwhile lover. Depression had started creeping in and I was losing my sanity apparently.
To cut the whole story short, when her girlfriend opened up to me that my girl was having affairs elsewhere, I never believed her at first, but after I confronted her, then I was looking so sick and pale, completely lost in thoughts and pains. She eventually opened up and was really sorry to the best of my knowledge . I couldn't help the pains, I. Started taking anti depressants, I have already vowed never to cheat in my life, knowing that prosperity has a way of rewarding Fidelity.
After I was mobilized for NYSC, I left for my Camp, but the ghost of a failed relationship was already hunting me, I had lost interest in living. Shortly after I returned back from my Orientation camp, everyone knew something was wrong with me, I only told them that it was the stress from Camp. Well, I was battered emotionally, that on 31st December 2014, I hit the rock button and decided to end my life and end the pains, I took insecticides and collection of anti depressants in over dose and battery acid, I cheated on death as I was in Coma for 4 days, I was referred to a psychologist for rehabilitation after I was discharged on the 12th of January 2015. I spent 6 months in rehabilitation Center here in Lagos State, where I was also serving then.
After the whole incident, I made up my mind to forgive her and give her a second chance since she was really sorry. The whole scenario started replaying itself, that she started acting strange again, already my friend had told me that she was seeing someone else. My family knew I was slipping into depression again and had wanted to fly me out of the country, but I was denied Visa when I least expected it. I had to leave Enugu for Lagos so as to keep away from her and the environment. but she still calls me on phone, saying that she still loves me, I truly love her so much. Am totally lost of words, lost of ideas. Am terrified to say the least. Am losing my sanity again. Please friends, depression is getting better of me at the moment.. I need a sincere advise Guy i feel ur pain,i was once in r shoe but the Truth is this:She dont love u and will never...its a sign for u to leave her and move on cos the worst thing u will ever do is to marry such a lady......If u do,she will cheat with even ur Gradner and Gateman...Move on and Pray for a better woman...... U see: Lies,Cheating and Promisciouity is what even God can never take away from Women...99percent of Woman cheats.....So move on..... |

obiremy: The attention of the 82 Division, Nigerian Army has been drawn to a planned release of report by Amnesty International on the recent violent activities by IPOB and MASSOB on 31st May 2016 in which they were alleging that the Nigerian Army planned the killing of the protesters. This is not true but the usual calculated attempt to rubbish the Security forces in particular and the Nigerian Army just to remain relevant.
It should be noted that the Non-governmental organization has always been of the habit of being the judge and jury in matters of our national security without recourse to fairness, objectivity, all aimed at rubbishing the Nigerian Army for reasons best known to them. This could not be far from trying albeit unsuccessfully to be relevant and justify funding.
For the avoidance of doubt, what transpired that fateful day was that some elements of MASSOB/IPOB engaged in violent protests which led to outright breakdown of law and order. The pro-Biafra protesters who had chosen the day to mark the 50th Anniversary of Biafra perpetrated a number of unimaginable atrocities to unhinge the reign of peace, security and stability in several parts of Anambra State. A number of persons were selected for attack, killed and burnt. Two personnel of the Nigeria Police were killed, several soldiers were wounded, a Nigeria Police vehicle was completely burnt down while another of the Nigerian Army was vandalized. The strategic Niger Bridge at Onitsha was at the verge of being captured particularly with the coordinated reinforcement of the violent protesters from the Asaba end of the Bridge. In addition, wanton destruction of lives and properties were brazenly carried out by the protesters who employed firearms, crude weapons as well as other volatile cocktails such as acid and dynamites. In consequence, law, order and security were grossly threatened across the State and beyond.
The Nigerian Army in synergy with other security agencies under its constitutional mandates for Military Aid to Civil Authority (MACA) and Military Aid to Civil Power (MACP) acted responsively in order to de-escalate the deteriorating security situation. Instructively, the military and other security agencies exercised maximum restraints against the odds of provocative and inexplicable violence that were employed against them by the pro-Biafra protesters. The military and of course the other security agencies acted professionally within the extant Rules of Engagement to successfully de-escalate the budding anarchy. It is rather inconceivable for any individual or group to have decided to inundate the general public with an anecdote of unverified narratives in order to discredit the Nigerian Army in the course of carrying out its constitutional duties despite the premeditated and unprovoked attacks in the hands of the violent pro-Biafra mob as Amnesty International is determined to do. Thank you for your usual cooperation.

FXCRAFT: An oil well owned by Chevron has been blown up by Niger Delta Avengers in Warri, Delta State, the group announced.
“At 1:00am today, the @Niger Delta Avengers blow up Well RMP 20 belonging to Chevron located 20 meters away from Dibi flow Station in Warri North LGA,” NDA said.
It also denied being any in dialogue with the Federal Government.
The minister of state for petroleum resources, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, said on Monday that the government was ready to enter into a dialogue with the militant group and scale down the military presence in the Niger Delta, hoping to stem down the spate of attacks on oil installations in the region.
“Probably, we will suspend the operations of the military in the region for a week or two for individuals in the creeks to converge for the dialogue,” Kachikwu said.
He explained that the government was determined to restore “genuine peace in the region where oil production has been significantly hurt by the activities of the Niger Delta Avengers”.
He urged the militants to accept the government truce offer.
“The avenue is open for them, provided the militants are willing to embrace dialogue and allow truce to reign,” he said.

QuotaSystem: Military To Remain In Niger Delta Waterways
The Nigerian government says military deployment on the waterways in the Niger Delta will continue to man Federal Government’s installations in the oil rich region.
This is one of the resolutions reached at meeting the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, held on Tuesday with state governors from the Niger Delta area, service chiefs and the Minister of State for the Niger Delta to try to find solution to problems in the region.
Briefing reporters at the end of the meeting, the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, reiterated the need for the state governors to share intelligence with security chiefs.
“We have taken a lot of decisions which we think will help us to mitigate what is going on currently in the states particularly in Delta and Bayelsa,” Governor Okowa said.
The Delta State Governor further stated that it was decided that military presence in the region should be de-escalated, though it was agreed that the forces should be kept to provide security and presence while government begins immediate engagement process with the communities in the affected areas.
Asked what the fate of the amnesty programme was, Governor Okowa noted that the Presidential Adviser on the Amnesty Programme briefed the meeting and stated that the programme was actually still on-going.
“We have a Special Adviser in charge of Amnesty and he is doing a lot of work,” he added.
He also highlighted the need to remain proactive, believing that a collaboration between the Federal and State governments would help to tackle the issues in the Niger Delta.
At the over four hours meeting, the blowing up of pipelines and vandalism of oil installations by those who many have described as criminals topped talks.
They were said to have adequately been briefed by the service chiefs on the situation in the area.
Some of the decisions taken include a synergy between the Federal and State governments, a collaboration they hope would end the crisis in the region.
The latest attacks in the Niger Delta region by a group that calls itself ‘the Niger Delta Avengers’ raise question as to what has happened to the amnesty programme and what the youths in the region have done with it.
The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe kachikwu, had in a recent meeting appealed to the youths to sheath their swords while some of the governors in the region reminded them that investment could only thrive in a peaceful atmosphere.
Youths in the Niger Delta region may well sheath their swords and watch the Federal Government fulfil its commitment to finding a lasting solution to the problems facing the Niger Delta oil producing states.

deadkiss: Niger Delta Militants Reiterates Vow To Unleash 6 Missiles, Targets Villa, National Assembly, CBN, Others
Niger Delta Militants Reiterates Vow To Unleash 6 Missiles, Targets Villa, National Assembly, CBN, Others Niger Delta group, the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force, on Monday reiterated its decision to unleash six missiles on the country. This was contained in statement jointly signed by General Akotebe Darikoro, Commander, General Duties; General Torunanaowei Latei, Creeks Network Coordinator; General Agbakakuro Owei-Tauro, Pipelines Bleeding Expert; and General Pulokiri Ebiladei, Intelligence Bureau on Monday.
Recall that last week, the militant vowed to release the missiles on Tuesday (tomorrow).
In a statement, the group named its targets to include the Presidential Villa in Abuja; the headquarters of the Department of State Services, also in Abuja; the Defence Headquarters, Abuja; National Assembly, Abuja; and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Towers, Abuja.
Others include the Police Headquarters in Abuja; Central Bank of Nigeria; headquarters of some multinational oil companies; and the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal headquarters.
The statement advised those occupying the buildings to vacate them, adding that the decision to notify the occupants of the buildings was because the aim of their struggle was not to destroy lives.
The statement reads in full: “In our final meeting it was resolved that the Nigerian Communication Satellite Orbit should be shut down so that it will avoid the cause of electronic radiation to human lives.
“Also, the followings occupants of these buildings should as a matter of urgency vacate in them immediately IN THEIR OWN INTEREST to save their lives because our fight is not for ANY HUMAN BLOOD but to destroy all those infrastructures that were built with our oil and gas monies in this country. We will make federal government and oil companies to suffer as they have made the people of Niger Delta region suffers over the years from environmental degradation, and environmental pollution. They include:
1. STATE HOUSE, VILLA- ABUJA 2. DEFENCE HEADQUARTERS 3. DSS HEADQUARTERS 4. POLICE HEADQUARTERS 5. NATIONAL ASSENBLY 6. NNPC TOWERS 7. CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA 8. SUPREME COURT/APPEAL COURT 9. AGIP HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA 10. SHELL HEADQUARERS, LAGOS 11. CHEVRON HEADQUARTERS, LAGOS 12. EXXON MOBIL, LAGOS 13. NLNG, LAGOS & ABUJA OFFICES 14. KADUNA REFINERY 15. ALL MILITARY FORMATIONS IN ABUJA, LAGOS, KADUNA, BENUE, ETC.
“We shall fire these Missiles’ simultaneously at the night, as this will enable every Nigerians to see the movement of the MISSILES and equally to believe us of our seriousness attached to the final breakup as predicted by the United States of America (USA).
“We equally advise the Diplomatic Community to be neutral on this issue as wrong comments against us will be seen as saboteurs. Where they are staying presently will not be affected which is not part of our targeted areas of destruction in the country.
“We shall embarrass the self acclaimed Nigerian Air Force with their recent deployment of fighter aircraft, helicopter gunship and surveillance aircraft when at this digital age, countries are talking about Missile development, and they still condescend so low of their present obsolete equipment. This is sad indeed!”
“Note, we are going to destroy the ones they have deployed to Escravos, Forcados in Delta State; Bonga oil field, Agbami offshore and Brass in Bayelsa; Bony in Rivers; Qua Iboe Terminal in Akwa Ibom State, and Opuekeba in Ondo State if they fails to remove them before time. Our crack team has taken inventory of their equipments. Even the present suffering from a rare ear disease known as Meniere’s disease by President Muhammadu Buhari will not win any sympathy to save our action against the federal government. The name Nigeria as a country will come to an end this week.
“The so called military operations code named ‘OPERATION PULO SHIELD’ in the Niger Delta region who our partners in the oil bunkering activities, because presently without been told the former JTF Commander, Major-General Emmanuel Atewe who was arrested by the EFCC last week over pipelines surveillance contract amounts to N8.2 billion in the region, is an eye opener to the federal government that the military are fully involved in illegal bunkering in the area. They only destroy those who could not afford their bidding and further lobby to come to the Niger Delta region because of what they are gaining from the area.
“Imagine, an Army private’s and corporals from the North could build business plaza of 3 storeys with several estate and other buildings including exotic cars to the detriment of the region? The Pharaoh of Nigeria (Buhari) should take the counsel of sycophants and jesters around him of the region especially Mr. Ayiri Emami and Professor Ita Sagey who are presently in our searchlight. The founder of the Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, Israel Akpodoro, is a dead man and that he should not hide for linking former President, Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Seriake Dickson with the Avengers. We are not in ANY community, the Military can’t locate Tompolo but we have identified where he is now.
“Presently, Tompolo is in Libya and we’ll get him dead or alive for betraying us in supporting the federal government against us.
“Nigerian Military has weak intelligence gathering mechanism hence they could not identify our modu oparandi. Nigerian military is only good in carrying AK47 to harass innocent people and raping young girls and women.
“If the oil companies especially Shell and Chevron spents billions of naira to only undertake repairs of damaged oil and gas pipelines in the region, when such funds were better channeled for the payments of Bonga oil spill in 2011 and Chevron gas explosion in Koluama, Bayelsa state in 2012 would have saved them from these bombing and their present predicament would have been a thing of the past. Since they don’t want to hear, we’ll continue to break the pipelines until they do the needful for our old parents at home because that is the only language the companies and federal government hears in the country from the region.”

Intellect20: If I became president of Nigeria, I would build $1 billion medical center in Abuja for my personal and public use...best in Africa. I'll rather die there than to shamelessly travel abroad for treatment...our leaders don't realize how shameful, stu$pid it's to travel for treatment! I keep telling our people that one Nigeria can never offer you anything good rather than death. They built schools but their families go to abroad to school.. They built hospitals but their families go to abroad to do ordinary check up... They built banks but they go to abroad to bank all their stolen money... They built houses but they go to abroad to buy the most expensive houses there... They don't walk alone, they have security personnel guiding them, even guiding their parents and their dogs., They use private jets and lots of bullet proof flashes cars that worth million of dollars.. Tell me, is this a country that you want to die with one Nigeria? Use your tongue to count your teeth. |

Timijo: I was been skeptical about writing this; but since my effort to reach them on customer care line has proved abortive I have no choice than to voice out here. I was happy when I heard that MTN has increased #1000 plan to 1.5Gb. I subscribed for this data last week and I was giving 1. 5Gb data. I started using it, until Thursday 2 when it stopped. I checked my data balance and I was told that I have exhausted my data. What! Within a week? I did not stream line video online. I only use it for whatsapp and browsing web pages. I have called their customer care line but they did not pick. I regretted subscribing to this new MTN data. hahahahahhaha..funny shaaaaaa...Our network Providers are wicked!!!!!! |

citizenisb: A government source expressed worries to Saturday Tribune over the spate of attacks on the pipelines and the effect on the 2016 budget. “Two months from now, the effect will be known. What we are sharing now is money that accrued to our accounts about three months ago when there was relative stability in the oil sector. So, the effect of these militant activities will be known in August. It is very worrisome. “You know those militants have almost crippled the oil industry, destroying an average of two major pipelines per day. By next month, states that will be able to pay salaries may not be more than five,” he said. Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, during the week, put Nigeria’s output at 1.6 million barrels per day (bpd) while the Avengers claimed they had reduced Nigeria’s output to 800,000 bpd. A year ago, Nigerian economy was the fastest growing in Africa and 3rd growing in the world, investors were trooping in,people has jobs, business and projects were either rehabilitate ,ungoing or commissioned, then oil was selling at 45 dPB. until Buhari came in,propaganda and lies began, everything, including all our refineries start working because of Buhari body language, suddenly,Buharidivided Nigeria into 97 to 5%,he stopped second Niger bridge ,remove 75percent of nigerdelta amnesty, commercialize IPOB by trying to jam radio Biafra, importing bokoharam to Southern prison, removing security roadblocks ,killing Shia.scaring investors away with with his mouth, etc. Now the masses are paying the supreme price for Buhari cluelessness and wickedness, unemployed ,hunger, hardships ,killings and hate are the song, Nigeria has been so divided, most southerners are angry becus of Buhari lopsided appointments and policies.Economy is nosediving ,foreign investors re moving out with their billions, while he is fighting to borrow millions of dollars when he and his party told us that they have recover billions of dollars from corrupt individuals. yet APC are blaming others for Buhari failure. |
