denniece1: "We’re still pleading with Kelechi to join Manchester city", -James Iheanacho

Kelechi Iheanacho's father, James, says he's unaware of the recent developments involving his son. In a chat with brilafm.net, James Iheanacho however confirmed that members of his family are trying to persuade Kelechi to join Manchester City after the 2013 U17 MVP changed his mind about joining the Etihad outfit.
“I don’t know what is really happening but by Thursday, I will find out more about this but what I can say for now is that family members too are still pleading with him to sign for Manchester City”
Investigation by Brila Fm has it that Kelechi is in Lagos and hasn’t traveled as scheduled last week to Manchester city as Kelechi now wants a move to Portuguese giants, FC Porto.

aaronson: I know it sounds immoral but sex with your spouse to be is definately needed just so you know your partner's sexuality appetite and other problem because marriage is a life time investment with child bearing as profit to the blissful matrimony, some people are just so religious to know the technical truth even Jesus had to tell Abraham to lie to a king that sarah was his sister and The Same God still told Samuel to tell saul that he was just passing by to go to the mountain for prayers when truthfully he was going to the house of jesse to anoint david as king,so would you say God has made these people lied or that's simply WISDOM

flybiz08: Hello Nairalanders,
On the 2nd of December 2013, I ordered for one piece of Samsung Active Tab 3 from . I immediately got a confirmation mail both from Jumia.com.mg and from GlobalPay that the transaction was successful. It was then time to wait and according to their delivery terms and conditions, I was to get my product in 2 - 8 days. Delivery was meant to be in Enugu.
I did not hear from after the order number was verified. I started getting worried that no one had contacted me and on the 5th of December 2013, I decided to call on 01-46 04 400. To the biggest surprise of my life, my order had been cancelled the previous day being 4th December 2013. No notification was given and it was at this point that I began to question their credibility. I was told on the 5th when I made my first call that I would get my money in 2-3 business days and up till this moment being 10th of December 2013, I have not received anything from them. I have called over 5 times and even on one occasion, the support representative kept me on hold without getting back.
I humbly ask to refund my money. One of the representative whom I spoke with today being the 10th of December 2013 told me that my money has been sent since 4th December 2013 whereas other representatives especially Fred, that I have spoken to before now told me to be patient till my money is refunded to my account. I have been to my bank and I can confirm that I have not received any money. I have also not received any alert to that effect.
, please refund my money. I do not wish to escalate this beyond our dear forum. I am begging you. I do not regard you as a scam organization and in that vain, live up to your reputation by refunding my money.
Thank you.
so far Nigeria is concerned i will never Make any transaction online...what a stupid country

Kachi188: Not too long ago, we announced a new National Automobile Policy. I am happy to note that the policy is now attracting great interest in our country with the consequential benefit for job creation and savings for our nation. The announcement by the Nissan Corporation that it will be investing in our country by way of manufacturing its brand of cars in Nigeria is very heart warming. With the confirmation that Nigeria ranks fourth in the world as the fastest Return on Investment (RoI), I hereby call on other world class automobile manufacturers and other businesses to also begin their journey to establish factories in Nigeria as we have a well trained and hardworking work force, at home and abroad, ready to add value to the growth of businesses and our country. CelebritiesRe: Etisalat Replies Julius Agwu's N100m Suit by Vincent41(m): 2:02pm On Dec 02, 2013
ifeanyi_ja: Telecommunication giant, Etisalat Nigeria, has reacted to Julius Agwu’s seven day ultimatum to the company that it should compensate him with the sum of N100 million or risk legal action over “alleged unlawful and unjustified blocking and/or swapping” of his Etisalat GSM phone number 08189555555.

Agwu demanded the compensation through his lawyer, Festus Keyamo, due to what he termed lost of business opportunities and the inconvenience experienced by him during the period.

Keyamo in a letter dated 26 November, 2013 to the company stated that “in the event that you fail, refuse or neglect to accede to our above stated demand within seven (7) days from the receipt of this letter, we shall be compelled to set in motion against you, all legal machineries necessary to obtain legal remedy for our client.”

The letter further stated that the company’s actions of unlawfully blocking and/or swapping of Agwu’s line occasioned loss of business opportunities for him.

Etisalat’s Public Relations Manager, Chineze Amanfo, while reacting to the allegation through an email sent to our reporter, stated that contrary to the reportage of the issue on the blogs and news sites, a SIM swap was performed on the said line after the requester provided the company’s customer care executives with necessary SIM replacement information, in accordance with laid down NCC regulations and process for SIM swap.

She added that the SIM replacement information includes security and personal requirements to the owner, which the requester provided before the swap was effected.

“Subsequently, upon a report made at our office by Mr. Agwu that he is the owner of the line and did not authorize anyone to swap it, our customer care executives promptly restored the line as well as the airtime lost during the swap process.

“Etisalat Nigeria is currently carrying out an internal investigation into the SIM swap incident and will refer the matter to the appropriate agencies for further investigation as may be necessary.

“We wish to assure the general public that Etisalat Nigeria is committed to the protection of the rights of its subscribers and to continue to provide value adding services to its customers.

“We will spare no effort to unravel the circumstances surrounding the alleged unauthorized SIM swap while encouraging our customers and the general public to protect their personal information at all times,” she stated.

Christianity EtcRe: Woman Gets A Call And Text Messages From 'Satan' by Vincent41(m): 8:46pm On Nov 25, 2013
ifeanyi_ja: A Colorado mother spent the night scared and ‘praying
nothing would happen’ after she got a missed call from
‘Satan’.

Jenn Vest was half asleep while breast-feeding her son
when her phone rang from the number 1-666-666-666.
After that call, she received 48 text messages from
different numbers, all with only the single word ‘Satan’ in the messages.

‘It really freaked me out because I was half asleep
feeding my son and it woke me up.

She said she thought she might have been dreaming at
first.

'Then I stayed up the rest of the night praying and
hoping nothing would happen,’ Vest told KUSA TV.
The woman said she tried calling the number back, only to get a recorded message saying the number was no longer in service.

The phone number has been used to prank people in the past, sometimes with threatening messages telling
people they were going to die.

'Yesterday I got a phone call and my mom answered it. It said "Ian Folk (my name) has three days to live". Of
course my mom has been freaking out all day about it. I pushed last call on my phone and it says the number is 666-666-6666. I try to call it but it isn't a real number. it was pretty creepy,' says one person on a blog.

Another person wrote: 'I just got a call from
666-666-6666 (which was creepy enough). An automated voice that sounded like the old Apple text to speech guy stammered sputnik at me for a bit then called me a f**kstick and told me to press 3 to remove myself from the calling list.'

Vest said she did not know how someone had found her
number but said she had recently hung up business
flyers and thought that it could stem from them.

According to one comment, there is nothing to be
scared of and that it is an automated service people can use at the website, www.ospenterprises.com/phone/.

People who want to play a prank of their friends can do it through that website, according to the comment.
However, the said website was not working at the time
this story was published.

PhonesRe: Warning To All (Used) iPhone Buyers by Vincent41(m): 5:45am On Oct 26, 2013
tumababa: please note that used iPhones have become scarce in the market now (and in some cases, more expensive) due to the activation lock feature on ios 7

if u go to the market or u want to buy iphone already running ios7 from anyone , it is not enough to check with your sim if its locked or unlocked, or if u can see d apps.

YOU MUST GO TO ICLOUD SETTINGS AND BE SURE THAT FIND MY IPHONE IS OFF BEFORE BUYING. If it is ON, tell the seller to switch it off, if he cant switch if off for whatever reason, DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

This is a must because once u buy and start using the fone to browse without switching off "find my iphone", d real owner (if it was stolen or lost) will get a mail that the phone has been found. he will now have control over the iphone and can lock it with his own chosen passcode which means u wont be able to use d iphone.he can even wipe the fone. At this point, it will be difficult to return the iphone to the seller.

you wont be able to restore/upgrade from itunes EXCEPT you turn off find my iphone. if you force d restore using DFU mode, then it becomes worse.before you can activate the fone, u MUST enter the apple id and password that enabled find my iphone before the restore (that's d activation lock feature). there is no way to bypass that for now and your iphone will be sooooo useless except u sell as parts.

So be careful.

this warning applies to mainly stolen iphones, but u never know if d fone u wanna buy here was stolen abroad.

i know some sellers will be mad at me now but the truth must be told
nonsese...nokia for me is the best fone ever

CelebritiesRe: Beverly Osu Wanted To Be A Nun by Vincent41(m): 4:06pm On Oct 13, 2013
Cornel88: Background
I grew up in Surulere, Lagos. But I grew up like a boy! I am the last child and only girl in the family. I did not have toys and I did not know any Barbie story, all I knew was Voltron, a cartoon. I did not grow up with both parents. My father is a very simple man and he is somebody who can accept your mistakes. He does not spank his kids. Meanwhile, my mother is very strict. I could not even play outside as a young child. I had to ride my bicycle inside the sitting room. I attended Daughters of Divine Love Convent, Enugu State. I thought I would be a reverend sister but I abandoned the vision when I dropped out in my fifth year. I
finished my secondary education in a secular institution before moving to Babcock University. I could not finish from Babcock because I had some personal issues. Again, I dropped and enrolled at the National Open University.

My convent experience

It affected me in a very spiritual way. In as much as I know worldly things, I still fear God and have faith in Him. The reason why I wanted to become a nun was because I was raised in a Catholic home. I just felt it was the best thing for me to do at that time. I used to see myself as a messenger of God. Even though I did not become a nun, I still remain faithful to God. Part of my dreams is to establish a church and do a lot of charity work.

Me and Big Brother

I went there of my own freewill and spending time in the house has greatly influenced my lifestyle. I have
changed in a lot of ways. I am cutting down on friends because I have too many of them— home and abroad. Also, I have always been a very impatient person but staying in the Big Brother house has changed all that for me. The experience taught me to tolerate people because
a lot of them annoyed me in that house. While I was there, I learnt that good things come to those who wait. It was difficult initially because I was always conscious of the cameras but I had to live with it.

My affair with Angelo

I fell in love with Angelo. I am a very open person and I do not like to hide my feelings. The concept of the show was reality. Since it did not require pretence or play acting, I just became true to myself. Concerning the issue of sex in the house, I have said it many times that there was no sex involved. The bathtub incident was just blown out of proportion by the media. If there was a camera inside the bath water,
everyone would have clearly seen that Angelo had his boxers on. But I guess since I was the naked one, it was easy to rush to conclusion. Time will tell if there is a future for the relationship. Also, I believe relationships should be left in the hands of God. He decides when and who you can move with from one stage to another. For now, I can only say I had fun while the stay in the house lasted and right now, I am still having fun. I am a young lady. I have a lot going for me and so many things to be done.

Plans

Apart from continuing with my charity work, I will resume my video vixen role and feature in as many musical videos as possible. Also, I have plans to host talk shows and do some movies. But above all, I will continue to pursue my passion of dancing and modelling.

Style

I like simplicity in style. I am not a flirty dresser and the items that can never be missing in my wardrobe are bum shorts and tank tops. These are what I wear on a daily basis.www.punchng.com/spice/essence/i-wanted-to-be-a-nun-beverly-osu/
