he doesn't look that bad, he's a bit on the lean side but that can be addressed too with proper diet nd gyming, u myt be surprised though. i came across a breeder friend of mine, he has 2 male GSD studs nd all were bulky,well built with muscles. I asked him of his secret, he told me during their puppyhood he made a gyming belt with an extended leash that was attached to a heavy metal,he made sure they always exercise with it by dragging from time to time. Wish i had a picture of those studs,they were huge nd their sight can easily conceal their level of purity. Rott/mastiff breeders engage in such too like he told me ,i was mad. so u seeTheirs still hope for gustaf.

Nice tips but gustaf isn't hungry, starved or lacking food at all because i always gave him the best right from puppyhood. That's just his nature.

Happy Sunday everyone. Gustaf wouldn't let me have my carrot in peace His love for carrots began the very day i proved to him that carrots are natural fruits by giving him some to have a taste lol

Some are late bloomers just like my late boerboel, his guard instincts didn't kick in until he was almost 2yrs old (when i added gustaf and a rott mix i called kimbo)

this is actually the most unbiased comment on this thread.
the truth is that they are two different dogs.
it all depends on the type of guarding you want.
if you want a dog that'll work with you then go for a gsd, if you want a dog that'll eliminate any threat go for a cauc.
I'll admit gsds are more agile, easily trainable and get used to the urban life easier but the Caucasian is stronger, more aggressive, more independent and overall more lethal.

Caucasians aren't meant for this urban lifestyle, if you want the best for your cauc then let it roam around your fenced compound or farm, exercise it and watch it's instincts bloom.
you can't expect a dog that was bred to be a killer to live in a tiny kennel or with a chain on it's neck and with 30min- 1hr walks once or twice a week as it's only form of exercise to live up to it's expectations.
caucs can be trained to do a lot of things people think they can do also, because the gsd is more intelligent doesn't mean other dogs are retarded.
and forget all this aggression talk, a Caucasian is very docile and loving to it's family, they are only aggressive towards intruders and threats.
if you have a good relationship with your cauc it won't direct it's aggression to you.

the gsd is also a remarkable dog, I don't need to talk about their strengths because we are all familiar with it's work , but it's pure delusion if you think a gsd can do the work of a cauc(guarding prisons and farms from wild animals), a gsd just isn't strong enough and that's the truth.
the gsd is not a very powerful dog, it's agility is top notch but it doesn't match in strength.
same way a cauc cannot do the work of a gsd, a cauc cannot work with the military and obey orders and execute them as gracefully as a gsd.
they are two different dogs for two different purposes stop all this comparison.
they both have their strengths and weaknesses, choose the one that matches your lifestyle

These system updates are completely rubbish. I upgraded my phone on Wednesday night only to wake up to find out that my phone has entered one chance omg, felt so bad but a guy later fixed it for me

The problem now is that after the fixing, my phone is now having issues like finger print problem, slow performance and all that, will be returning back to tecno next month as part of the 12+1year warranty.
