I mean Murphy was not too active too.
I would suggest u let him spend time at a breeder close to you. It might help to trigger that instinct..

He would be in a different environment with several dogs, they would intimidate him and possible fight him but surely he won’t let the intimidation continues he would fight back and might try to dominate. That might boost his morale and trigger his instinct..

And case might be that he would succumb to humiliation.

In all don’t give up on him..

Secondly, i think the raw cow milk i used in bringing him up affected his head and thereby softening his temperament... Just dunno again
