Strong SOP without verifiable evidence can put you in a very slim chance of grant.
Without been religious about this, I will strongly advice you find something that will give you evidence to show to them. If you have a company, do you have tax clearance certificate, invoices of business dealings, your staff payroll, board resolution appointing someone else to hold the office for you until ur return? Bank statements of the business showing in and outflow of money?

If you don't have, it's better for one of you to apply while the other serve as ties to home country. This is my humble opinion.

Please is it advisable to reapply to the University that once rejected ones admissionhuh?
I think yes. If your circumstances has changed, and that you can now pass their gte test, etc. Give it a trial.
But one of the reasons most of these schools will reject an applicant is mostly due to the bad records set by some persons from your country of resident. For example, someone from Nigeria applied to XYZ University, and was offered admission got to the school and maybe left or change the course to a lower one. This can make the school to mark applicants from that country to be high risk to that school.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 8:28am On Mar 20, 2022
Thank you my brother. Not compulsory but you will need to show that you had your first study in English. You know Nigeria is not classified as one of the English speaking countries?

To prove your English, you can request letter of English proficiency from your university, stating that you were taught in English.

The truth is most of the Universities in Australia requires that you complete your application process through any of their designated agent in your country of resident. However, some universities like; University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), University of Tasmania (UTAS), and I think one other will initially allow you to apply via their online portal. I know UTAS won't charge you for application fees, but uts charges about 100AUD.

Do your further research anyways.

fabregasss:
Please which Australia university doesn't require agent and also doesn't charge application fee. I'll appreciate anyone with a useful information
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 6:40pm On Mar 19, 2022
Hello,
You didnt need to notify any school of your rejection by one university or another. I got rejected by University of Canbera one time, I think sometimes last year, but I had to apply to another university (UTAS). I didnt have any problem processing my admission. I have received my coe and health insurance as we speak. Currently applying for my visa.
If you need some more clarification you can send me a mail.
Meanwhile, why was your sponsors account not with sufficient fund considering that he is going to be your sponsor? This could be dangerous if it were to be at visa consideration stage, and on verifying your sponsors claims, and they discover that no sufficient fund. Let's talk

fabregasss:
Good day everyone.

I got a rejection in 2018 in Australia, I intend to apply again for July intake, is it compulsory I notify the universities I'm applying to that I once got a rejection?? The reason for rejection was shortage of funds in my sponsors account which happens to be my brother in Australia.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 10:40am On Mar 16, 2022
This is so cheap mehnn. I paid almost 20grands in UTAS. About AUD19,898.50cent as initial deposit. Its well sha.

Well, personally, I think whenever you feel your situation has changed. And again, if you have a good agent or immigration lawyer, you can contract one of the two to help you lodge your application.

Can you respond to these below?

Are you fully employed in Nigeria?
Did you give them any evidence of continuous employment with maybe previous promotions, payslips and or employment letter?
Did your agent guide you at all in writing your GTE?
Who was your sponsor?

Ropodinho1960:
Pls like when next can I reapply?
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 10:46am On Feb 26, 2022
Sorry about the denial. To start with, I want you to know that there are many single persons who had been granted study visa.
Look jnto your application and see that there are things you need to set straight and maybe reapply again after sometimes. Alternatively, if you are able to prove some of the things they claimed you didn't show enough evidence, that will be fine.
Are you fully employed in Nigeria? Did you give them any evidence of continuous employment with maybe previous promotions, payslips and or employment letter?
Did your agent guide you at all in writing your GTE?

In my opinion, do not give up. Pursue it, and get it.

Ropodinho1960:
Good news for some people and bad news for some.

This is very true. Evidence play a key role in convincing the receiver of your gte. One could mention many things, but without a single evidence it could become vague.

Thank you for this peace.

Raymum:
While s/he's trying to answer this important GTE question, let me provide a clue from my situation.:

If your previous degree and work experience are unrelated to your desired course in Aussie, you could comfortably create an overwhelmingly convincing story of a childhood interest that resufuced, a charity gesture U embarked on in high sch ( e.g Helping at alphanages, visiting prisons, old people's home, etc). If you have pictures scan and add to application, there is no 'too much' in evidence as per 'dem must give me my grant'

The secret to a powerful GTE statement is your ability to convince and provide evidence if available and necessary.

Don't forget student visa application fee is now free. I think from now through 19th of Feb? Or so. Am not sure.

Hello gurus, I need some pieces of advice.

I paid my tuition via WU globlapay, WU confirmed receipt and equally statted that they've forwarded payment to school. Medibank (OSHC) sent a mail to inform me of my policy (I paid through school) but school is yet to issue CoE. Is this normal?

The policy certificate of my OSHC says it started on 21/01/2022 even when I've not applied for Visa? Does this mean the insurance is already active and rolling down?

I'm an ECU applicant. With the continued ban on WA borders, my agent asked that we proceed with Visa application, is this in my interest or are they rushing me to commit simply for their own gain?
Advise me please.

Try University of Tasmania.

fabregasss:
Thank you for your response........... Yes, I have the adequate amount now.

Just looking for school that scaling through their GTE wouldn't be a torn in the flesh
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 1:38pm On Jan 31, 2022
Hello,
May I know why the agent refused to help you process your admission? Was the reason due to the refusal/denial you had in 2015? How does this refusal/denial impact your current application? I feel there is something they are not telling you about your application.
Were you applying for M.sc or B.sc?

Check out University of Tasmania, they will accept online application free of charge. Once they offer you a place, you will be further required to select an agent ok!

DoDirtsLikeWorm:
Thanks for your swift response.
I just wonder why the ones I used were shying away?
They returned my Fee in full, maybe they used it for their Xmas emergency Who knows?Lol...

Well I will try gaining the admission myself through online portal and equally write my CDR for TRA assessment. Incase if IS dey delay, WAS might suffice.
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Vincentosa: 10:37pm On Jan 29, 2022
I doubt if there any University/College in Australia that will not require you to go through an agent to proceed for your admission.

DoDirtsLikeWorm:
This Admission, was it through an Agent or by yourself?
An agency said I have had Denial in 2015 that they won't help me any further. And na must to use agency these days.

So I need to know schools that doesn't need agents to secure Admissions. My ND transcript will be ready by monday

I only answered Yes to the question “have you ever been denied a visa before?”. I stated the country and attached the denial paper.
So what happened if the denial paper given couldn't be located? for example, a denial of 6years ago. I lost the paper on transit as I have relocated from 4 different accommodations since the denial was issued. What can be done about this situation? @Softkey, please your candid advice is needed, please.

Raymum:
A long time ago, someone asked a question here about bring a child/ren to Aussie on student visa with spouse unaccompanied and I provide my opinion based on my experience. I have received several other emails on the matter as well.

Fast-forward, I completed my Masters in UWA last month, Chairman is only weeks away to be here, son is already speaking with his nose, correcting my proudly naija accent and reading my Uni material while in Pre-Primary- I am super-proud of myself.

God planted some wonderful people in my paths that improved my situations and survival and I promised myself that I will pay the favour forward in any little way I can. Therefore, I have decided to pick three people coming to Perth from the Airport to their accommodation within Perth. If anyone is coming to Perth in last three Fridays of February, send me an email and confirm your arrival time.

I have also read several enquiry on GTE, Sponsor, Adding Spouse to application etc., and I would like to address these in brief:
1. GTE: when tou write your GTE statement, sit back and ask yourself whether your explanations are logical, smoothly linked, and whether if you are the visa officer you will make sense of the evidence before you. For example: if you say that your maternal uncle is your sponsor and I'm the visa officer, I wud expect more than the sponsor's heavy bank statement and proof of relationship. I wud like to see that he paid your first tuition to convince me. This may not be the standard but it's very logical

2. Adding Spouse: Unless you are very fortunate, you wud be sitting on a very long thing waiting for your spouse (Subsequent entrant ) student visa. My suggestion (after my almost two year of rugged wait) is to add spouse and provide a solid GTE and leave the universe to align things...

NOTE on GTE: when you write your GTE provide evidence to support your claims and 'don't go and be writing Australian Education is the best and quality standard' compare to naija' What about Canada, USA or UK that offer similar standard at less expensive price? Tell them why you prefer Aussie and not Canny, UK, etc.
For example, if you have ties (relative and friends in Aussie), be pratical and say my brother is in Australia and this will help be settle faster for my study, blab blah blah

Explore your unique situation, research on the good qualities of the city where your prospective Uni is and pick some points to 'decorate your GTE statements after the key issues are adressed

Anyigold1:
Good evening house.
I am new here.
Please I need help I recently got an offer from the University of Tasmania Australia and my uncle that based in the US is the one to pay for all my study and living expenses in Australia, my question now is will they accept my maternal uncle as my sponsor we don't have the same surname? The second question apart from my uncle bank statements is there any documents that required from him as my sponsor
Hello,
Your uncle will need to give you his bank statement of 3/6months (notarized by his bank as certified true copy), he will also need to do a Statutory Declaration of support for your study and other expenses as you mentioned above. This too needs to be notarized by an authorized professional in the US. Lastly, you will need to prove your relationship with him. Since you said he is your maternal uncle or so, you will need to present your mom's birth certificate and his own as well as your own to show that you are indeed related to him and that he is your uncle.
I think before you are issued a final offer (Unconditional offer) you would have presented these documents and also complete the UTAS_Financial Matrix (all these documents form your GTE).
you can send me mail lets talk further.

Can't believe the borders are finally open again! I finished my undergraduate at Curtain University in Perth in film studies in 2017, I have been wanting to go back for my master's. I had used an agent for my previous student visa application as I am also very busy with work to have the time to sort my application myself I will most likely be using them again, would recommend if anyone is also looking

The education agent: https://www.educationone.net.au/

And their migration agent partner: https://onederland.com.au/

Just out of curiosity is anyone else planning on going to Perth, I really enjoyed my time at Curtain and the city really became a 2nd home for me. It would be nice to make some friends and have a community there.
Hello,
I just sent you a mail pls kindly check for further discussion with you please. Thank you

I think if you already do a job that is related to health care support, it may fly else, you would need a very strong SOP to be able to get through. You may wish to do more research and also ask people who have done similar thing.
