In short, 200 Nigerians will be able to live a comfortable life on half a Senator’s monthly salary.
A member of the House of Representatives receives a salary of N25,000,000 (tenty-five million Naira) monthly. If this salary is divided in two = N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira). The other half, which is the sum of N12,500,000 (twelve million and five hundred thousand Naira) will be enough to employ 135 Nigerians with a monthly salary of N92.500 (ninety-two thousand and five hundred Naira) each. Nigeria has 360 Members of the House of Representatives, half of their salaries can employ 48,600 Nigerians who can live comfortable lives.

So, Buhari’s Administration can employ 70,400 Nigerians with monthly salaries ranging from N90,000 to N92.500 accordingly. This is just by dividing the salaries of Senators and Members of the

Babatunde Raji Fashola's can easily pass as one of the most powerful anti-people voice in this government. Nigerians aren't paying attention to the man's utterances. Sans Buhari, Fashola says the dumbest things for a public officer. He isn't loud, perhaps the reason why Nigerians often miss his anti-people posturing, but he's no less insidious, insensitive and generally disconnected from the pervasive suffering of the people and the general dissatisfaction with their government.

When they were in opposition, this same Fashola, especially during those Bola Tinubu colloquiums where they gathered to yap about how they know so much on how to move Nigeria forward, alongside the master sophist himself, the platitudinous VP Osinbajo and Tinubu their master, was all over the place talking about how easy it is to generate and distribute stable electricity. He suggested that all Nigerians needed do to get stable supply was vote out the PDP. Nigerians voted out the PDP and Fashola was made Minister for Power. Ngwanu provide the power nau, nothing. Nada. Instead he said Nigerians can't pay for the electricity they crave. The uppity dumbassery!

Independence Day 3 days ago he was out again saying Nigerians confuse the duties of government at different levels and so blame only the FG on the bad state of the country. What has Fashola's FG done right that he wants Nigerians to now blame the states and LGAs for the rest? When they were singing abuses and criticisms against the former FG was Jonathan chairman of Ogbia LGA and governor of Bayelsa State?

That the man is an idiot won't come from me. God forbid I say something so untrue, after all he's a SAN and SANs are smart. Instead I'll suggest that Nigerians pay more attention to his utterances and judge for themselves.

Prettiness and wickedness at the highest order from the supreme court governor

Despite owing the staffs of the state radio corporation (IBC) for over 5 months now, the Supreme Court Governor of Imo State, Mr. Hope Uzodimma has continued to unleash harm and terror to the workers of the corporation who dares to query why they were owed that much.

Latest to receive the package of wickedness of the Supreme Court Governor is the gateman of IBC whose only crime was opening the gate of the radio/tv station and letting in the suspended Vivian Ottih into the premises of IBC.

According to Mrs. Vivian Ottih, trouble started for the poor gateman who should be in his late 60s when she came to IBC premises at Akanchawa Udenwa road, to fill out the forms in the endless salary form filling exercise which they have been filing for 5-6 months with no salary coming at the end of each exercise, and the man opened the gateman for her.

"After I had finished what I came to do, as I was driving towards the gate, I saw the gateman on duty who is in his 60s crying helplessly, and already on red eyes. In my church mind I came down from my car, went closer to him to know why he was crying and rolling on the ground,

"In heavy tears and giggling, the old man said to me, Nwam Nwanyi (my daughter), they have sacked me. I was confused and astonished because when I was driving in he greeted me with excitement what could have happened under 15mins. I had to calm him down and asked him what happened that led to his sacking. He said that few minutes after I (Vivian Ottih)drove into the premises, the Acting DG of IBC Ezekail Opara came to the gate and shouted at him why he allowed me in and that the Commissioner for Information on hearing that I came to IBC called him on phone and directed him (the Acting DG) to sack the gateman on duty immediately.

"Tears rolled down my eyes.. I was like what is really happening I tried and brought his spirit back after consoling and assuring him that nothing will happen to him..
Meanwhile the gate was closed,,when I asked him to open the gate for me to drive out, he was so afraid to touch the gate again, I had to open the gate myself and drove out of the premises." Said Ottih who narrated what transpired.

Apparently carrying out the orders of the Supreme Court Governor, the commissioner for (Mis)Information Mr. Declan Emelumba ordered the IBC DG to fire the gateman with immediate effect for opening the gate for Mrs. Vivian Ottih.

Recall that Barr. Mrs. Vivian Ottih was the IBC staff who was few months ago queried and suspended for demanding the payment of 3 months salary from the Supreme Court Governor.
Even as a nursing mother of a 3 weeks old baby, she was summarily suspended for demanding her three months unpaid salary, which is now about 5 months unpaid salary.

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Babagana Kingibe Chief of Staff following the death of Abba Kyari who on Friday and the was buried in Abuja on Saturday.
Abba Kyari tested positive to coronavirus on his return from Germany and subsequently died of the infection in Lagos.
Kingibe has been acting as Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari since Kyari left the Presidency for treatment.

Baba Gana Kingibe GCON (born 25 June 1945) is a Nigerian politician, diplomat and government official who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995, Minister of Internal Affairs from 1995 to 1997, Minister of Power and Steel from 1997 to 1998; and Secretary to the Government of the Federation from 2007 to 2008.

•POLITICAL CAREER•

Kingibe entered politics in the build up to the transition of the Third Nigerian Republic. In 1988, he was made director of organization of the People's Front of Nigeria which consisted of politicians such as Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu, Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila and Rabiu Kwankwaso, which was then led by Shehu Musa Yar'Adua.

The front later joined with the Social Democratic Party in 1989. During the conduct of elections for national executive positions in the party, Kingibe was sponsored by the People's Front faction of SDP as the party's chairman, a position he went on to clinch. As party chairman, Kingibe was involved in the organization of party's gubernatorial and presidential primaries in 1991 and 1992 respectively.

•1993 presidential election•
However, after the cancellations of presidential elections in 1992 in which Shehu Yar'Adua was a candidate, Kingibe put himself forward as a presidential candidate. He made a split from his initial camp, the PFN group and used his relationships with SDP state party chairmen to build his campaign. He lost the keenly contested primary conducted in Jos but after much prodding from SDP governors, he was selected by the primary winner, MKO Abiola as Vice-presidential running mate, creating a Muslim-Muslim ticket which was initially thought to be a deal breaker in the general elections. The pair won the electoral majority although the result was annulled by abdicating president General Ibrahim Babangida.

•Abacha administration•
Kingibe later joined the Abacha administration as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1993 to 1995, Minister of Internal Affairs from 1995 to 1997, and Minister of Power and Steel from 1997 to 1998.

•Secretary to the Government•
In June 2007, he was appointed Secretary to the Government of the Federation. He was unceremoniously removed from office on September 8, 2008 by the President Umaru Yar'Adua, after spreading rumors about the President's ill-health while believed to be contending for the presidency.

•Buhari administration•
Kingibe has been a powerful behind the scenes decision-maker in the Buhari administration, alongside chief of staff Abba Kyari.

Will his time as chief of staff to the President be a love hate relationship with Nigerians like his predecessor? Let's wait and see.
