Now your webpage has a caption which says "creating unmatched quality since 1993 " now thts not true is it? considering the fact that as u said "I decided to develop an online chess game so we could play while we met on facebook " and even facebook came up around 2003, ![]() thts about 10 years difference |
God, grant me the wisdom to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference |
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia |
@kahdie: am sorry to lean tht ur visa is still unavailable |
the airline is great, wonderful crew, good entertainment, simply great |
@Buteh.congrats bro @Khadie: Its really saddening to learn of the visa refusal, funkybaby said it all, send the UNI a strongly-worded mail and make sure the reader can feel what you are going through, they should know better before they send wrong letters, tell em to send you another via DHL and reapply ASAP |
@khadie: My visa was issued 3 days before i was called to pick it up, my cousin's own was issued 6 days before she was called, i think it all depends on the person handling your case, but all in all, prayer is the first key and then hope in the powers of your prayers. |
aNuff:Well, there is no intermediate change, once the status changes, then your application is ready for collection. kunle93:Well, aparently you dont have much time at your disposal again, i will advise you send a mail to the school to know their final deadline for resumption. As for the mistake, i believe a sworn affidavit will do the magic, as for me, my middle name on my waec cert was spelt as DYODEJI instead of AYODEJI and i trusted my gut feelings to use it like that even with no affidavit, but in order to be on a safer side, as much as possible, get a sworn affidavit and any other document that can prove u re a male. cheers |
@Khadie and buteh: should be leaving for school next tuesday, will be studying at Henley Business school, hope u guys get urs soon @Iz2much: its really sad wht u re going thru, wht reason are they giving this time? unverifiable personal account? |
@ khadie, buteh am glad to inform you guys tht my visa has been granted, right now i feel like jumping outta my skin, still praying for you guys, cos am really looking forward to that lunch in December, would be checking up to see ow u guys are faring and will sure put in one word of encouragement or the other. @easy, keep up the good work u re doing here, there is a great man in you. |
Hey guys, my application is now ready for collection, am off to their office |
cmmon people, another day is here, the last working day of the week, am standing by already, cnt just wait to see something positive, singing "today is the day that the lord has made" |
does anyone have idea what the new salary scale for the doctors look like? i mean from house officer to consultant |
sexyLeamon:yep, just the right thing ve been looking for |
great moments lie ahead, i will rather think about that., still tracking |
juat thinking, maybe we could all get together sometime for lunch, peharps in december and make fun over how tensed up Khadie and buteh were before there visa was issued ![]() |
pls dnt mind me, after reading easy's post, i just couldnt help it |
:- |
yeah, spot on buteh, cant rem being this nervous in my entire life, all my pals are in school already, still tracking, this time with no popcorn and and a heart beating at 1000 per sec i just hate wht this people are doing to me |
@khadie: same here |
@khadie: its 12 noon, any news? |
@tjadeba: last week tuesday? @Khadie: as for me, am going to continue tracking every 30 minutes, i dnt want to miss a thing |
sits in front of laptop, pop corn in one hand, let the tracking begin Its a good day people, i can smell it already |
@hackney December? thts way too long dnt u think. a lota business would have crippled by then. i guess Nigerians have to travel down to ghana before taking any flight, wht a country |
@ Buteh and khadie, i cant even access the tracking page, i sent a mail to them in the mornin and all i got was tht my application is undergoing verification at the visa section. |
@khadie: Just hang on to your positive mentality, the fact tht they denied some of ur friends based on one flimsy reason or the other does not necessary mean u will be denied, different strokes for different folks |
i hope we all get to school on time, anyone heard the news of Airline authorithies proposed strike action starting today? well, if tht extend longer than it should {i pray it wont} i believe moving down to ghana to board a UK flight will be the only option available BTW, i have been unable to open their web tracking site, is it just my computer, or is anyone else experiencing the same? |
Khadie:now thts really funny, trust me, if tht works, by now, i will have been labelled as "the placard guy at the gate" @Khadie, 5-6 times? i commend your level of self restraint. will be studying at Henley Business school, orientation starts 25th of september |
Seriously, it is really taking a lot of Divine intervention to restrain myself from going to Walter carrignton to ask for myself wht is really going on ![]() Been waiting behind my computer refreshing and checking every 30 minutes, its a hell of a wait, i pray we all come out of this with great testimonies. @ Buteh, it matters not where or which agency you submit with, all applications are treated on indiviual basis and the final decision rest on the table of the guys at the High commision |
buteh:I heard the same thing too, i really hope its true |
Another working day, my nerves are cracking already, wht time do i start tracking? |
