nice whip bro! can it fly for 2million? oh commn, i blame it on the beer |
chigsmith:Well, if the remaining 3.0 million is enough to cover for your living cost requirements and school fees, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about, the PBS rule states that you should have enough funds to cover your living cost {depends on ur school's location} and outstanding school fees, for 28 days. the implication of this therefore is that, even if you have 2 million in your account for 4 years untouched and it isnt sufficient for your living cost, u might have to hang on the thing line of hope that the Entry clearance officer is really the rational type who has just had a really nice day. |

iz2much: sorry abt tht mate!. |
I think am with Alta on this; As we get older, the society assumes that we ought to be able to think or take responsibilities fitting for someone of our age bracket or higher. Between the ages of 1 month to 10 years, we were taught to be solely dependent on our parents and in almost all cases, the latter bear responsibilities for our actions. during our early to late teen years, we were taught the act of self reliance and independence, we take our first lessons in love and hate, trust and distrust, etc, and the society expects a level of reponsibility fitting for peeps of such age group. {e.g i dont expect a child of 13 year old to run for a political post}. Once we approach our early twenties to late twenties, the society expects us to have a clear vision as to our approach to life, we are expected to take responsibilities for our actions, we are expected to forge a life that leads towards the act of independence, by this, the society expects that we ought to plan a life that is devoid of parental influence in the majority of the actions we take, and this must also include planning a sustainable stream of income towards future living. Once in early 30's the society believe that we are OLD enough to choose and settle down with a partner of our choice, however the conditions of survival and stability of such marriage is highly dependent on emotional maturity, compatibility between both sexes and financial situation at the home front. Situations that differ from these are seen as aberations in many societies and are largely attributed to problems from either of both sexes. BTW, why would i want to be in single in my late 30s/early 40s? |

Oh well then uncle "~bluetooth" where would you draw the line between protecting lives of government officials and harrassing fellow Nigerians, there ought to be a benchmark! |
Fhemmmy:Now the question is "is there a law backing that up?" or are we just meant to assume tht? and btw, wht will happen if the convoy eventually run into a CRAZY hold up? they'll prob be forced to fly It's a highway for crying out loud, it dosent make any sense to say because the deputy governor is going for pedicure, i must miss my appointment or my wife in labour must give birth in the car! |
Guys, lets just forget about this speed limit for once, the question is there any law that forbids overtaking such convoys? Lets be a little realistic, if the convoys are so concerned about their boss's saftey, there is something called evasive driving and since when has the deputy governor turned an enforcement agent to enforce speed limit? |
OAM4J:Right on spot! and am sure many people that have one prob or the other are victims of these fradulent agents, wht surprises me however is tht more and more people still get themselves invloved. |
